All they want is everything they can’t have.

Penny…

Yes, yes, I've heard the rumors.
The prince is royal, and cocky and has a—well never mind about all that.
The problem is, he's also my job.

When the King called on me to retrieve the wayward prince, I was ready to walk away.

Then I caught my boyfriend cheating — and suddenly leaving never felt like a better idea.

Sebastian…

I never wanted the throne.

When I left behind my gilded cage of a palace, it all sounded so simple: find my long-lost brother & make him the prince so I don't have to rule the kingdom like my father expects.

Then I meet my new neighbor, and quickly realize I’ve found the queen of my heart — and bed.

Just one problem, I can’t let her find out who I really am.

So I really enjoyed cheeky royal it was a fun easy read that I had no issue losing myself in.
This had no high brow storyline to draw the reader in and relied totally on its charming storyline which had me smiling and chuckling to myself throughout.
I'm not gonna rehash the blurb here but will just say that this is one of those stories that creeps up on you by surprise.
I really wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did but it had such a feel-good factor to it that it was very easy to enjoy.
The main characters here were both so likeable and relatable and I especially enjoyed the fact that Cheeky Royal progressed at a slower pace that allowed both Seb & Len to connect emotionally before taking the plunge in regards to sexual union.
There were no big plot twists and this was predictable but I didn't actually find that a minus.
It was refreshing to just get what it says on the tin, chill and kick back.
This also had a couple of great side characters that definitely added to the storyline as well.
But the brother sheesh he was a right nob-trot.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series as I was really intrigued where this ended.
happy to recommend Cheeky Royal it was a great engaging read.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of (Cheeky Royal (Royals Undercover, #1) of which I have reviewed voluntary.

I’m not sure what it is about romances with royals that I find so tempting, but Sebastian was a treat. His whoremongering notwithstanding, he was such a sweetheart. He was just trying to be his own person, fulfilling his own desires, one of which focused on his photography. He’s sworn off women in his determination to get done what he needs done. What he couldn’t prepare himself for was his hotter than hot, artsy and irresistible new neighbor, ‘Len’.

This story was teeming with secrets, stealthy operatives and subterfuge, however, I found the truth beneath the lies. Sebastion and Penelope had an attraction that couldn’t be denied, despite how hard each of them tried to fight it. It was not only instant, strong and undeniable, it was palpable to the reader. The author created characters that bounced off of each other like clockwork, leaving me intrigued by their every interaction. I was on edge waiting for one of them to slip up or finally reveal themselves to the other. I’m super excited to get my hands on Cheeky King to find out what happens next after that insane cliffhanger!

I’m all about the royals these days and when I read this blurb, what stood out to me is the heroine is in charge of guarding the royals (aka the hero). This is a really cute, super sexy story and I definitely recommend it. But let me also tell you that it’s part one of a two-book series and it ends in a cliffhanger. The second book, Cheeky King, comes out April 30 – so you don’t have long to wait.

I actually appreciate the fact that this romance is not rushed. How many books have I read recently where the hero and heroine meet and four days later they are in love and getting married? Too many!

In Cheeky Royal, the heroine and hero actually have known each other since they were kids, but haven’t had contact since they were eleven. Penny’s family has been guarding the royals of the Winston Isles since the 1700’s.

My ancestor was one of the indigenous people of the Winston Isles. He’d fallen in love with a slave that worked in the plantation houses, and all he wanted was freedom. So he joined Jackson’s cause and eventually became one of the king’s trusted advisors. And ever since then, a member of my family had been in the Royal Guard.

Including myself.

My grandfather was Royal Guard. My father was Royal guard. Hell, my mother was Royal Guard, as was my older brother. It was sort of expected that I would be Royal Guard as well.

Penny loved the training and studying to become guard. But she has had some bad luck in guarding people recently. She is truly talented, but everything always seems to go wrong for her. When the king asks her to come to his office, she is sure she is going to be reprimanded. Instead, he has a special assignment for her. His son, Prince Sebastian, has gone missing. Sebastian has sent his body-doubles all over to thwart the media and his family. Penny’s dad thinks he knows where he is, and the king wants Penny to go undercover for two reasons: keep Sebastian safe, and convince him to come home. The king is worried that if Sebastian is confronted directly, he will just flee again. Although Sebastian and Penny grew up together, he has not seen her since she was eleven – so he has no idea what she looks like now that she is an adult. The king wants her undercover, and to not tell Sebastian she is Royal Guard. So Penny, along with her best friend Ariel, head to New York City, rent an apartment next to Sebastian and start to “pretend” to run into Sebastian at various locations, and befriend him.

First let me say that Penny and Ariel’s friendship is a hoot. They are so much fun together – as they work to flirt and mischievously spy on Sebastian, keeping him safe and trying to start a friendship so they can convince him to come home. Sebastian is actually searching for his missing half-brother, a brother his father recently admitted existed. This is why Sebastian fled the kingdom.

The majority of the story is Penny and Sebastian, now neighbors, getting to know one another but also keeping secrets. He doesn’t know that she is Royal Guard, and he thinks she doesn’t know he is a prince. They have really good chemistry, but both hesitate to act on it because of the secrets. Oh – and because technically Penny had a boyfriend when she left, but they had kind of broken up and it’s messy. But trust me – I never felt like she was cheating or anything. I will say, I’m not a fan of taking a relationship to a serious level, and starting a physical relationship, when you are keeping big secrets from the other person. And that happens here. This will be addressed in book two I assume.

I also thought once Penny becomes friends with Sebastian, she really doesn’t make a ton of effort to convince him to go back home. That storyline kind of stalls. It just becomes more about her conflicted feelings with falling for him.

Nana Malone writes two really cute characters. Penny is very outspoken, and a little awkward. She is funny and due to her training, can take down any big, drunk dude who tries to take advantage of her while out. I loved her.

Sebastian is more of a playboy, and really wants treat Penny well. He struggles with trying to keep his attraction at bay, but he is truly enamored with her. They get into crazy situations together and they spend a lot of time just getting to know one another and eventually a romance sparks. And it’s hot. Like when a man won’t leave Penny alone at a bar:

“Listen to me. She’s a friend of mine. If I see you near her again, I’ll make your life very difficult. What she did to you on accident will seem like a walk in the park.”

When he pulled me closer, I tipped my head up to glance at him, eyes wide. I was unprepared for what happened next. Sebastian squeezed me tightly, and I could see the muscle in his jaw twitching. He leaned over and brushed his lips against mine.

Oh God.

Holy. Shitballs. On. A. Cracker. Pussy down. Pussy down!

The kiss was electric, hot, and quick. And then it was over so soon I couldn’t be sure it had happened. His electric blue gaze bore into mine before he whispered, “Like I said. She’s mine.”

Something big happens to end the book – something I wasn’t expecting. Now I’m even more curious to see how it all plays out in Cheeky King. Looking forward to it! A light-hearted, fun royal read.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't expect a whole lot from this one. Is it the best written book? No. Is it the best plotted book? No. Is it HAUT? YES. Is it addicting?? YES!!!!!

I had no idea that this ended on a cliffy, otherwise I wouldn’t have read it without having the second book. Normally I would dive head first into the next but I’m stingy on buying e books when I’ve promised myself to only read books that I own until my TBr is more manageable. Adulting is stupid and a big buzzkill. I would love to return to this, so like a nerd I made notes and hopefully can return to Sebastian and Penelope’s story.

DNF Chapter 5.

This was not very good I am afraid. It read like a bad B Grade film. Cringe worthy, disjointed dialogue and lame plot.

I tried again at Chapter 7, but had to put it down again. Not my cup of tea.

Oh! I must add that I also hated the cover. I think the abs of the model have been photoshopped to an inch of its life. Just come on already!

I’m stating this right from the get-go…..this story DOES end in a cliffy. So enter at your own risk! *smirk*

Good golly miss molly….this was a great read! Engaging, entertaining, with a little bit of suspense and a whole lot of secrets and lies, you will not be able to put down this book!

To be completely truthful, I was expecting just another typical royal romance…swoony prince, delightful commoner, and a sweet and lovable storyline. But those descriptions are just a small taste of what Cheeky Royal is really about!

The story is profoundly unique and the relationship between Sebastian and Len/Penny is quite exceptional. Their dynamic together is a constant slow burn of emotions, acceptance, and obligations that leaves your head and heart in utter turmoil. You’re given exclusive access to both character POV’s, and you can’t help but feel embroiled with the ever-escalating circumstances and feelings that are developing. The intense passion and deep affection they share are beyond romantic and fiery. But they’re both withholding secrets from each other, and only one has the power to undoubtedly wreck their chances at love forever.

The saying, ‘You can’t always get what you want’, is truly the epitome of what this book is about. Sebastian and Len are the first to know their places in each other’s lives. And what the heart wants isn’t always what the heart gets.

I loved Cheeky Royal!! I can’t wait for Sebastian and Len’s story to continue in Cheeky King. If it’s anywhere close to how fascinating and entertaining this book was, then I know I’m going to love it just as much!

5 Stars!

5 Star review of Cheeky Royal (Royals Undercover #1) by Nana Malone

Audio Review:
I know that this is hard to believe but this is the first book I have read or listened to from Nana Malone but Cheeky Royal was a great book to be my first.
The first thing you need to know is that this ends in a cliff hanger which I didn’t know so you have been warned. This is book one in the Royals Undercover duet and it was entertaining and addictive.
Sebastian is a prince who does not want to be king and in an effort to change his future he has gone looking for an alternate. However what transpires is a story that will have you on the edge of your seat as narrators Shane East and Andi Arndt bring to life this exciting story by Ms. Malone. Penny is a royal guard, along with her best friend Ariel to back her up, she is tasked by the king, to guard and protect the prince without his knowledge.
When circumstances bring them together, the sparks fly and the attraction and chemistry that lies between them sizzles. Shane East is a favourite of mine and he certainly did justice to the character. Sebastian is totally swoon worthy as is the voice of Shane East and he was perfectly cast for this role.
The secondary characters were just as engaging and I cannot wait to see how this story pans out.
Can Penny keep Sebastian safe and protect him from the enemies that surround him? What will happen when the truth is revealed?

A couple of months ago I read Cheeky Prince, the prequel to Nana Malone’s Royals Undercover duet. Although I wasn’t crazy about the prequel, it left me more than willing to dive into the duet. In fact, I was more than a little bit curious. Thus, when I finally got the chance to dive in, I was happy to devour the story.

Cheeky Prince was an insanely addictive read, one that had me turning the pages at a rapid pace. It gave us so much, ensuring there will be plenty more of this world to come, promising us so much from so many characters. As excited as I am for the spin-off series, following one of the characters I came to love so much in Cheeky Prince, I fear Cheeky Prince has set the standard too high. I’m positive I will love the spin-off books, but I’m so in love with these characters I fear the spin-off will not hit me quite as hard. I’ll be reading it, though, once I’m done with the Royals Undercover, there is no doubt of that.

With Cheeky Prince we’re given a read any fan of the royal romance trend needs to read. With insanely fun characters, plenty of drama, a wonderful romance with fabulous chemistry, and an addictive storyline, this book has plenty to keep the reader entertained. In fact, this book managed to provide so much more than I’d anticipated. With so many elements introduced, I cannot wait to see how things come together in the second book – there really is so much that needs to be brought together, and if the conclusion is anything like the introduction it will be amazing.

I think the only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the ending. To me, it felt like the ending came out of nowhere and was a bit sudden. I understand why it played out the way it did, I appreciate what it promises for book two, but I feel as though it was a bit more abrupt than I would have liked.

Nevertheless, Cheeky Prince left me more than willing to dive straight into Cheeky King. I cannot wait to get more of the characters I enjoyed so much in this one.

I was given an ARC of this book. I tried really hard to like this book, but I just couldn't connect with either character. I felt like Penny was kind of a doormat who let people walk all over her, and I didn't connect with Sebastian either. I had a hard time believing that he was going to find his long-lost bastard brother and convince him to be king. I don't think a bastard can be king (I mean, come on, even in Westeros a bastard can't be king). This book also ended on a cliffhanger, which I hate. I don't like to read multiple books about the same characters. So I was disappointed by that. The writing was good, but I can't recommend because I didn't connect with the characters.

I was enjoying this book and fully prepared to give it 4 stars until IT ENDED IN A CLIFFHANGER. Now I’m seriously pissed! I hate this trend of having books end in cliffhangers that has crept in romance, but if you’re going to do it, PUT IT IN THE BLURB THAT THIS IS “PART ONE” OR SOMETHING!!! I got this because it was a freebie on Amazon, and now I guess I’ll buy book 2 but ughhhhhhh seriously I’m mad y’all 😡

Cheeky Royal
By: Nana Malone

REVIEW ☆☆☆☆
Cheeky Royal is a few of my favorite things rolled into one. I adore romcoms, royals, chicklit and that makes this book perfect for me. A prince running and hiding from his impending throne. A royal female guard sent to find him. Then, she locates the stray prince and moves in next door to secretly keep a watch on him. They interact in fun flirty ways, he is oblivious, and something, just a little something, is there. Maybe? And it's unrelated to royal surveillance and retrieval. More like hot I really like you man woman stuff. So, what happens now? It's all complicated and confusing! Where is this going? Anywhere? I'm not gonna tell you. If you want to know, read the book yourself. It's a riotous good time filled with clever cheeky scenes and so much more. I totally lost myself in this world for a while, and I'm okay with that. Such a great escape from reality!

I'm really torn regarding how to rate this one. There were some parts of this book that I loved, others had me rolling my eyes and skipping entire scenes.

I appreciated the kick-ass female lead and the way she was charged with protecting the prince. However, I passionately hated how every time she behaved in a strong and fearless way, we're reminded that she's a pathetic, weak female... Her instincts and ability to fight are reduced to nothing more than luck. The worst part is, she does it too herself.

While the story was good, the book was well written, I was even invested in seeing their relationship succeed I found myself fixated enraged by on all the parts where her success and abilities were minimized.

With all that said, the book does end on a cliff hanger and I did buy the second book because I really did need to find out what happened to the relationship.

I’m so angry at myself for not realizing this book was part of a series and NOT a stand-alone. Penny and Sebastian’s story continues in book two and apparently book 3 will feature the hero’s brother Lucas. So as I try and talk myself down off of a cliff, there will eventually be some resolution and HEA for these two but not until the end of the next book. This cliffhanger took me completely by surprise and so did finding out the next book was not on KU and costs 5$. Alas I got this book for free so I can’t really complain because again, my error in not doing my due diligence in researching the books I’m reading like I usually do lol but damn if I don’t want to throw a tantrum right now 🤬🤣🤣

The blurb touches on most of the storyline for the entirety of the book. The heroine Penny is sent undercover to protect the crown prince of her home country and has a deadline to return him back to the kingdom. Posing as a next door neighbor the two bond and slowly fall in love, something this wayward and once man-whore prince knows little about. Because the two are actually spending time together and getting to know one another, they bond and grow closer, even with tons of secrets placing a ticking clock on their relationship. Being a commoner Penny knows she and the prince have no future. The prince however has lofty goals and that includes finding long lost siblings who he can pass the crown and responsibility onto. He not only plans to back his father in changing many of the monarchy’s current rules, he also begins to hope as time goes on that once he gives up the throne he may have the chance at a normal life. A life that perhaps can include real love and not the arranged marriage that is so common for royalty.

Penny was a pretty awesome heroine. She works with her family at their private security firm and even though she’s perhaps a bit of a screwup and not the best at her job, when it matters she gets the job done. This includes saving the princes life more than once. Penny and her BFF together are pure danger lol. These two are seriously impressive and amazing when kicking ass I will say. Often times this is unbeknownst to anyone around them and under the ruse of being extremely klutzy 😂 even the prince has zero idea she’s intentionally kneeing people in the balls lol.

I’m not normally a fan of books where secrets are a big part of the story. It’s inevitable that hearts will get broken and the MCs will usually separate or be separated and this book was no different. Despite this drama and the cliffhanger, I really did enjoy it all from the banter to the character development and growth of both Penny & Sebastian. The end was so much more explosive than just their truths being discovered and I was really taken aback, even a bit broken hearted. I cannot wait to see how these two find a way to be together even if my cheap ass has to pay 5$…. 😍😍😍

I really enjoyed this story. Nana Malone is becoming one of my go-to authors!

This story is a refreshing story of the royal meets commoner and finds love. Sebastian is a prince with reasons of not wanting to be the prince anymore. SO when he is told that his father has two other children out there he takes it upon himself to go find them. He is hoping that maybe one of them will want to take the spot of King or Queen when the time is right.

Len is a Royal Guard. It isn't her dream job, but something that comes with being in her family. So when the King asks for her to follow his son and befriend him to stay close, she is pretty sure she is not the right person for the job. But after having her heart broken she decides to take the job.

These two (Sebastian and Len) do have a history, but Sebastian doesn't seem to recognize her. But it has been years. Len and Sebastian do have some wonderful chemistry in this story and it is a great story. There is some mystery surrounding Sebastian and the ending is just WOW. I can't wait to see what happens next.
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review.

The runaway prince and his inept bodyguard. There's a royal crisis in the making and it begins with a thing called love. Family duty and secret heartache map a collision course with destiny for a totally unsuitable match. She's sent to bring him home. He's left to find himself. Sebastian and Penny have a history. A childhood friendship that lost it's way. When fate and circumstance help them reconnect, will the secrets each keeps spell a fresh start or a bitter end for these long lost friends? Nana Malone steps out side of the fairytale to give a realistic portrayal of friendship, life, love and heartache. Cheeky Royal is a reminder that true love is worth fighting for.

4.5 Royal Stars!
I absolutely adored this forbidden romance! It was funny, sweet, heartwarming and very sexy!
Penny is part of the royal guard who protects the royal family. She is good at her job but tends to be a bit of a klutz. She has been sent to the US to get close to the Prince and convince him to return home. Sebastian's heart isn't in becoming King. He loves his country and wants to help them but not as King. Penny/Len becomes friends with Sebastian and they find they are kindred spirits. They each have an artist's soul but are captives to family expectations. Their friendship is sweet and funny and I really enjoyed the slow burn of the love they try to fight. But they are both covering up who they really are and their secrets could tear them apart. I really loved the scenes where Penny needed to protect Sebastian when his life was in danger. Without spoiling anything, Penny/Len does a brilliant job of protecting him and you will love how she accomplishes it! This is the perfect blend of humor, charm, emotion and steam. It captured my heart and had me totally engaged from start to finish. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Too much stretching ( the story ) I found the story quit contradicting as I understand author tried to bring a strong h which mind you she is the royal guard who supposed to protect H ( in this story he is a royal prince )

The problems is her characters which author let it show is some insecure girl ( o don’t mind the rambling and any other nonsense) but she utterly let herself become a doormat at certain point and blaming her family ( she said herself thought her mother were very supportive)

For a royal guard - aren’t you learned the basic of taking a responsibility? Sorry but the h characters on the book pretty annoying and making her looks like some junior high school girl instead of what author tried to portrayed her ( Royal guard )

Since this story are stretching too much - short times on warming up between h & H , that it was waiting on the very last chapter of the book author let them have it together and make it a perfect cliffhanger

If you like cliffhanger go ahead - I’m not a fan but sinds the story were pretty dull I don’t need to read the second book.

When I was young, I was the type of girl who was into anything to do with royalty. From Disney princess books to princess movies, I was a fanatic. I always had that fascination of bring whisked into a fairy tale filed with castles, hunky princess and royal jewels. Now let's be realistic here-it might not happen at all but I always dreamed about wearing a tiara and gorgeous gown with my prince charming. Hahaha. I can dream, right. But it is books like Cheeky Royal by Nana Malone that makes me live out all of my fantasies. I just cannot help but gush about Cheeky Royal. This book mesmerized me. Like for real. I was up all night reading and I just could not stop reading. So engaging. So enticing. So delicious. Cheeky Royal is a perfect summer romance read to snug in with a nice cup of tea or a glass of wine.

This was not my first time reading a Nana Malone book but I am still new to her writing. Her writing just makes me all kinds of excited. It is so sassy and wonderful. Just puts a smile to my face. I loved reading Cheeky Royal. It was like watching your favourite movie. I was totally engrossed and drawn in a world of royals that my heart sing a massive tune. Spicy. Intriguing. Capturing. Cheeky Royal was a romance that immersed itself with a plot about duty and obligation. It was sweet. It was fun. It was joyous. It was light hearted. Cheeky Royal was a perfect concoction of a lively romance and sexy bite to pleasure your reading taste buds. I totally enjoyed Cheeky Royal. Nana Malone certainly gave me goosebumps and butterflies in her writing. I could just feel the tingles. But she also gave me a different take on a modern fairy tale that charmed me. Cheeky Royal was totally unique featuring a forbidden and yet sultry romance that I had to sink my teeth into. Cheeky Royal just echoed.

In Cheeky Royal, you will meet Penny, a woman tasked to find and protect Sebastian, Prince of the Winston Isles. The push and pull between Penny and Sebastian was so electric that I felt the sparks from the pages. It was hot but frustrating at times because I wanted them to fully explore their sexual tension. But it was beyond sexual tension. Penny and Sebastian just clicked. Each with their pasts and family legacies of honor, duty and obligation, they both wanted to do different things. I think that just made me admire them a lot. Sebastian was a player but I feel like he was searching and wanting to be who he is instead of just a Prince. Penny was a sassy woman and strong but she wanted more out of life. When it comes to chemistry and actual relationship, Penny and Sebastian were totally believable.

If you love romances about royals, then you need to give this book a try. But be warned , there is a cliffy!!!!!

Cheeky Royal begins with Cheeky Prince, a short prequel to Cheeky Royal. A look into the royal life of Sebastian Winston, the crown prince to the Winston Isles. As a young boy Sebastian is allowed time to play, like any ordinary child, but even he knows he lives the life of no ordinary boy. Soon he is to be sent off to boarding school where he will be schooled in everything he needs to know so he can one day take over the kingdom.

In Cheeky Royal we meet a cocky prince who is more fond of sating his own needs vs. caring about those of the kingdom. We also get to meet Penny, the young girl who used to play with the crown prince as a child who is now a young woman trying to find her own way among the pressure of joining the family business; serving in the royal guard.

Penny refers to herself as Calamity Penny; she is klutzy, a screw up, and constantly making the wrong choices when it comes to protecting diplomats who visit the Island.
After a final screw up, she is basically reprimanded to desk duty, which is no better than a prison sentence to a free spirit like Penny. When the King himself asks Penny to perform a special task; bring the crown prince back home, she has little choice but to say yes (although she does have a moment of insanity where she does something very Penny-like, but I'll let you enjoy that.)

Sebastian has been MIA for months, on his own personal mission to find his half brother and sister so they can step into his place and he can step down from duty. He longs for nothing but to be free from the obligation that the crown brings, but he can't do that unless he can convince his long-lost, half siblings to come back and step into his place. He's running out of time since his birthday is approaching and he is next in line to receive a place in the Regents Council. A powerful seat that is his birthright unless he can recind it.
When a sexy new neighbor moves in across the hall from him, Sebastian finds it hard to keep his sights on the prize. It's the first time in months he's lost his concentration. Something so familiar about the mystery neighbor calls to him, reminds him of things he cannot have, but he also can't seem to stay away.

Penny finds the prince, that part was easier than she expected. What she didn't count on was how hard and fast she'd fall for him. She knew he was charming, good looking, and a womanizer, but she didn't know he was smart, kind, and a man she could actually care for. Her assignment from the king was to keep him close, but exactly how close he was meaning. The longer she spends time with Sebastian the harder she is finding it define closeness.

Cheeky Royal is charming and Calamity Penny is adorable in all her awkwardness. Penny clicks with everyone, her best friend Ariel is funny, her chemistry with Sebastian is hot, and even her conversations with her mother are adorable. Cheeky Royal does end with a cliffhanger and picks up in Cheeky King. I'm dying to know what happens with this couple as their chemistry is off the charts, so stay tuned.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

Would you let yourself to fall in love with the Prince when your duty is to keep him safe? When you are already know you won't have a future with him.. Nana Malone returns with a wonderful new series (or is it a duet?) and two of the most charming heroes I instantly become infatuated with. What else I may possibly expect by this author than to always accomplish to excel herself?

Penny, the daughter of one of the Kings Cassius closest advisers and Royal Guards, is totally screwed! The King, without considering her royal clumsiness but only being well-training as a Royal Guard, instructed her to follow Prince Sebastian and influence his decision to return to the palace. On the other hand, Sebastian is on his own mission to find and convince to follow him the only person who will set him free from taking the throne.

With a small stint of Noah's Blake presence at the beginning of her mission, Penny with her best friend Ariel, sets in motion a waterfall of planned coincidental meetings, with a mile in a minute due to her shyness talking only to have as a result Sebastian's interest. However, their friendship didn't last long and what was forbidden for both of them, for so many Royal reasons, was what Penny and Sebastian needed the most. Each other. Once their love affair started to bloom tho so did the consequenses. Who you care about isnt always who you believe they are ...

Wow! What a cliffhanger! What an incredible love story to read! The author put quite the humour at her narrative keeping matters breezy and fun. Penny and Sebastian blended well together and really brought the characters to life for me. Penny was a joy to read, with all her fake clumsiness and stubbornness. Sebastian was more sentimental and troubled, however, I enjoyed watching him get his was with Penny. Nana Malone once again delivers a delicious romantic story encompassing suspense, mystery and steamy scenes into the mix. Intake my hat off to her.
....book #2 coming soon!!!

Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

OMG!! I truly loved Cheeky Royal!! It was a total 4 1/2 star read for me!! I'm serious...we need 1/2 star ratings!! Cheeky Royal was a fantastic read! There was not anything that I did not love about this book. Cheeky Royal is a fun and enjoyable read, not to mention absolutely hilarious. Penelope and Sebastian are the cutest duo ever. The thoughts that run through their minds, not only about each other, but about life in general will have you holding your stomach from laughing so hard.

Not only did Nana Malone give us two great lead characters in Penelope and Sebastian in Cheeky Royal, but then she introduced us to the secondary characters, characters such as Ariel, who is Penelope's best friend. Let me tell you, everyone need a best friend like Ariel. I truly adored her.

Cheeky Royal is truly a wonderfully written story about a girl who is entrusted with a mission to not only bring the Prince, yes, Sebastian is the Prince, back home, but to keep him safe while doing so, but who also just so happens to fall in love with said Prince. Oh, and did I mention that said girl is apart of the Royal Guard and that her mission was given to her directly by the King? And if that doesn't tempt you to read Cheeky Royal, did I mention that there maybe special appearances in this one by a group of very sexy alpha men that we were introduced to in another series? And if neither of those things did it, did I mention that Sebastian is really, really gorgeous and has a dirty mouth...and an accent? I cannot wait for the second book in Nana Malone's new Royals Undercover series to release. My mouth is still hanging open at the ending in Cheeky Royal!!

Nana Malone has spun a beautiful tale of royal hotness! This is a story of two people trying to find theirselves both in two different ways but one may have a hidden agenda. Until she falls for him. And there is no stopping her heart.

Prince Sebastian has had enough of the royal agenda. He gets burned and goes on a hiatus until he learns something that gives him a new agenda. But he doesn't let anyone know where he's gone. Confused and heartbroken Sebastian sets off to find what he needs to make things right.

Penelope has been given a job that she's not quite sure she can do. In fact she says no to the King until she thinks on it really hard and then she decides, yes she can do it. Find the Prince.

Nana takes us on a journey of secrets and love. When the love comes everything changes and we are left with wanting more. I can't wait to read the second part to this story. My heart hurts for these characters and I can't wait to see how this all plays out.

As always Nana Malone has is sucked into the pages and she doesn't let our hearts or minds go the entire time. I love how she can write an emotional, heartfelt, sexy as sin romance and just enough laugh out loud moments to hook us. I would highly recommend this book to any romance lover.

Book one in the Royals Undercover Duet and you do need to be aware this story ends on one heck of a cliffhanger, one that I did not see coming .....
Andi Arndt and Shane East did a fantastic job bringing the story and the characters to life, they had me hook, line and sinker from the very first page, from the moment their first lines were spoken.
Sebastian doesn’t enjoy life as a Royal so he is trying to run and hide from his responsibility as the prince who is next in line for the throne. Looking to live life how he wants to he sets out to track down his long list brother. Penny has been requested by the King to keep an eye on Sebastian while he is in New York, she is meant to watch him and report back not fall in love ......
This story ticked all my boxes, it’s well written, well narrated, great characters with sizzling chemistry and witty banter and what a lot that cliffhanger !!!! That’s all I’m going to say because you need to read or listen without any preconceived ideas to really enjoy this great story.

ALERT! This story ends in a cliffhanger!!!
What I liked mostly about this book is that the heroine is in charge of guarding the hero.
Penny’s family has been guarding the royals of the Winston Isles since the 1700’s. Penny has been given a job that she is not quite sure she can do. In fact, she says no to the King until circumstances that involve her boyfriend forces her to say yes. Her point of view was very fun to read about and lovable.
The relationship between Sebastian and Len/Penny was really good, it was not rushed the chemistry was huge and the pace of the relationship was really nice. In addition, the drama created by the characters were fun to read about. Oh, I did absolutely love Ariel.
Prince Sebastian has had enough of the royal agenda. He was a spoilt rich kid. But, gets some shocking news that made him go off the radar. Now no one can locate him and if someone did, he would just run off. Penny is sent to guard him and persuade him to come back home.
