I adored this story!!!!
Eli has been not only the older brother but the only adult and responsible parental figure for his younger sisters..and now is finally the time for the girls to leave for college and for himself to enjoy single life..until Sloane and his little girl literally land in his house!!!
I love these two, the way their relationship builds and changes..I loved everything about it!
It's sweet and delicious and a story that makes it very easy to fall in love with the characters.

Eli King can’t wait for Spring Break. He’s been raising his younger sisters for the past eleven years after the tragic death of their parents, but he’s about to have the house to himself for two weeks! He figures it’s a trial run for when the two youngest head off to college in just a few years. He’s looking forward to being a bachelor and doing all those things he didn’t get to experience because he had no choice but to be a responsible adult at the age of 18.
Single mom Sloane Clarke may be living paycheck to paycheck, but she’s completely devoted to giving her daughter Paige everything she didn’t have growing up, including love and a sense of belonging. She doesn’t like depending on anyone, but when her roof starts leaking and destroys the house’s electrical system, she packs her daughter and dog up and heads across the street to Eli’s house looking for a dry spot to spend the night.
Eli can’t say no, and invites Sloane and her little family to stay with him until her house is repaired. Their attraction is undeniable, but Eli is looking towards a future where he isn’t a family man for a while and Sloane can’t put romance ahead of her four year old. The more time they spend together, though, the more their attraction grows and the more right things feel. When Eli suggests a night of no strings attached sex, Sloane can’t resist, but what happens when one night isn’t enough for either of them and they find themselves looking towards completely opposite futures?
I loved Eli and Sloane’s story! Eli is such a stand up guy. He doesn’t regret taking care of his sisters at all, and actually finds himself missing them while they vacation for Spring Break. His relationship with them is amazing. But, he isn’t ready to admit he’s ready for another family to drop in his lap no matter how easy things seem to be with Sloane and Paige. He’s not ready to let them go either. And, Sloane is an amazing mom who lives for her daughter. I can totally understand why she doesn’t want to rely on anyone, but, Eli makes it too easy to let him help them. I love how determined she is to provide Paige with a sense of family that she never had. And, I love how easily these two just fit together . . .including Paige and Boo the dog!
The real beauty of No Limit was watching Eli come to terms with thinking what he has dreamed for may not be what he wants or needs at all. It was a fun and beautiful romance that felt perfect from the very beginning. 5 stars!

Eli King is the stuff book boyfriends are made of. His parents died when he was 18 leaving him to raise his 4 little sisters. Dedicating his life to his sister and keeping the family business going, Eli has taken very little time for himself. But now the girls are almost grown, two in college and the twins are in high school and will soon be leaving their family home as well. While Eli loves his sisters and wouldn’t change a thing keeping his family together, he’s looking forward to living a bachelor's life. Starting with the next two weeks while the girls are taking a spring break vacation.
Eli gets one of his Friday Night Poker Game’s sisters to set him up on a few blind dates. He isn’t looking for romance he is just looking for a few wild nights. But just like life, things never go quite a planned. Perhap looking for a few one night stands and living a bachelor's life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

No Limit is the second book in the 7-Stud Club series, and it grabbed me by the heart and really has me addicted to this new original series by Christie Ridgway. It's 7 standalone stories about a close knit group of friends who are interconnected throughout it all, and I find myself in love. This is Eli's story, who has been raising his sisters after their parents were killed in an accident, so it hasn't left him a lot of spare time to be a single man. Finally they're grown, and the last one will be leaving the nest soon, and at the moment, they're on a 2 week trip, so Eli has a plan to start his bachelor life out with no entanglements at that time as a preview of what's to come. However, he never saw the single mother Sloane coming. She lives across the street from them, and hell, his sisters have babysat for her daughter. When she needed help at night, she came to him, and he helped her out, they found some serious chemistry between them which led to sexy times that lit the sky up. But both of them swore that they didn't want anything serious with each other, and you already know that chemistry like they have won't be denied, so it's just a matter of time before they indulge again. The cast of secondaries in his friends, and her finding her own, made for more depth to this awesome story, plus added in some great humor. There's even some twists that come up, and let my f-bombs come down, so yeah, this story pretty much has it all. With Eli wanting to have a break from responsibility, while Sloane having responsibility she can't be done with, and fate intervening, how will this all pan out? You'll have to one click to find out. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Eli King is exactly who I was hoping would get his story next after reading the first 7 Stud Club book. This series by Christie Ridgway is about long time male friends who have a regular poker night. No Limit is Eli’s story. If you read the first book you would have meet all of the guys. Eli is one who manned up to raise four younger sisters at the age of eighteen. He chose to essentially become a parent when most eighteen years olds had college, freedom and exploring the many opportunities that were available to them. This fact intrigued me.
What always stands out to me in a Ridgway book is that the characters will be someone I love by the end of the book. So is the case with Eli and Sloane. Both have had major problems in life but are still standing true while doing the right thing. Especially Eli who could have resented the life he had but instead is devoted to his sisters. Also I know that my emotions will be engaged when I read a Christie Ridgway book. I admired but also felt for Eli. Then wanted him to make certain choices but also could see the struggle behind it all.
I also always appreciated the excellent story-lines that have humor and a bit of quirkiness to them. I mean is it not ironic that Eli has spent the last eleven years with a house full of girls only to fall for a woman with a young daughter. That is the way real life happens sometimes, never what you had planned at all.
This is a series that is worth reading but No Limit is a stand-alone book if you haven’t read the first. I personally like to read books in order but it not necessary to do so to fall in love with Eli. Just read No Limit to do that.

This is the second book in this entertaining series about 7 men who have been friends since Auto Shop their sophomore year in high school. Years later they play poker together every Thursday night. Eli King's parents died in an auto accident when he was 18, leaving him to raise his 4 younger sisters and run the family nursery business. His sisters have grown up and the youngest, twins, will be off to college soon. His plans are, once they have all left the nest, to sell the family home, get himself a bachelor pad and have the life he thinks he missed out on. He gets a preview of what that will be like, when his sisters plan a 2 week road trip. He finds that the dating game is not so much fun. Meanwhile, across the street, lives Sloan Clarke and her 4 year old daughter, Paige, whom the twins have babysat for. Unlike the Kings, they are all alone. Sloan had a terrible childhood, but still has a positive attitude of what can be. When the roof of her rental has a serious roof leak, and her landlords (and bosses) are on vacation and out of contact, Eli invites them to stay in the family homestead, until the leak can be fixed. Eli has made it clear that he is looking to be alone, so while attracted to each other, they try to fight it. This is a romance, you know how that's going to work out. Endearing characters, including cute kid and dog and an engaging and amusing narrative make this another wonderful read by Christie Ridgway.

While his sisters are away on a spring break trip the lovely single mom, Sloane, down the street needs his help. Sloane hasn’t had time for romance, let alone sex, as she focuses on raising her daughter. When a leaky roof forces her to ask Eli for help, all bets are off. Getting involved with a mom is the last thing Eli wants, or thinks he needs, so he tries hard to ignore the attraction and feelings he has for Sloane. Sometimes, fate takes things into their own hands as Eli and Sloane are unable to resist each other and the feelings that grow between them.
Sloane is an amazing mom and her daughter is the cutest thing, always including Eli in her games and play. Eli has played dad for so long it just seems natural to continue in the role; except maybe this time with some benefits. It was difficult for Sloane and Eli to stick to their plans with the sizzle and sparks between them. I just loved this story.
Ms. Ridgway is a wonderful story teller who wrote an emotionally rich and moving story filled with sexual chemistry, amusing dialogue, and endearing characters that is definitely not to be missed. I highly recommend No Limit, book two in the Seven-Stud Club series to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series.

However things do not always work out as the hopes and maybe not has he had planned either.
Sloane is a single mother to an almost four year old and wants the happily ever after. But she knows that it won't happen with Eli even if she wants it to. She knows he only wants a no-strings attached relationship and that he plans on living his life as a bachelor and have all the fun he missed out on when he was busy running the family business and raising his four sisters. Their lust for each other is instant, but takes a bit for them to act on their mutual attraction.
After a storm there is major damage to Sloane's house that she can't live there anymore so Eli invites her, Paige and Boo into his home. Little did he know he was finally going to get what he wanted and craved, but thought he never wanted in the long term.
Sloane and Eli have a great instant attraction that takes some time for them to act on, but once they do, those sparks turn to flames. It was great to see the character growth and how they both realized that they are meant to be together and live in his families home.
Loved reading Eli and Sloane's story and can't wait for Cooper's!

Eli King has 2 weeks to live the life of a bachelor. He has been raising his four sisters since he was 18 and now the girls are off on an adventure giving Eli the freedom he craves. Two wonderful weeks to live a life of debauchery! Until he answers his door during a terrible storm only to find single mom Sloane with her daughter Paige and dog Boo on his doorstep.
The leaking roof has knocked out Sloane’s electricity and left her temporarily without a livable space. Eli, being the good guy that he is, opens his home to the little family and the heat begins.
Sloane is a struggling single mom who strives to do the best for her family, but roadblocks keep getting in the way. She know’s Eli is looking forward to his fancy-free time and has been very clear that IF he ever settles down, a future with children is not in the cards.
Ah Karma!!! She comes and bites Eli and the behind. The heat of Eli and Sloane’s chemistry is just too much and their one night fling turns into more for Sloane, but Eli is still wearing blinders, until he finds himself really alone and realizes how lonely that really is.

The second book in the “7-Stud Club” finds Eli King planning on a wild two weeks as his four sisters have gone on vacation. He has raised his sisters since his parents died in a car accident when he was eighteen. Responsibility is his middle name and he is ready for some “me” time. During a rain storm his neighbor, Sloane, arrives at his door asking to borrow a tarp. When he checks her home, he finds that not only does she have a leak, but it has affected her electricity. Sloane is a single, widowed mother to four-year old Paige and is doing her best to take care of her adorable child. Eli does what a responsible man would do and offers them the use of his home. Although he was looking forward to a wild two weeks, he suddenly finds himself enjoying having Sloane and Paige in his home along with their dog, Boo. I love the way Ms. Ridgway makes her characters so real that you anxiously await what the next page will bring including the wonderfully written love scenes . The second book in the 7 Stud Club Series did not disappoint. I loved it! Eli has been raising his four sisters since he was 18 when his parents died in a car accident. So when his sisters left on a springbreak vacation, he thought he was going to live the bachelor life until his beautiful single mom neighbor, Sloane, showed up at his door in the middle of the night during a storm with her almost 4yr old daughter, Paige, and her dog Boo, all soaking wet. Their ceiling had caved in. Eli offered them shelter until it could be repaired which led to more repairs. Eli and Sloane could not deny their feelings and their chemistry and the sex was hot! Eli soon found that the single life was not for him and he wanted a life with Sloane, Paige (who stole my heart), and Boo. I'm really enjoying this series and highly recommend it and this author.

I'm loving this new series by Christie! 5 poker stars for this one!

Book Two in the 7 Stud Club is outstanding. Eli King has spent the last ten years raising his younger sisters. When their parents were killed in a car accident Eli stepped in and took over the family business and the responsibility of raising his sisters. He loves his sisters and doesn’t resent the time he has spent taking care of them but he is determined to start living the bachelor life as soon as his youngest sisters graduate and go off to college. Right now he has the two weeks of the girls’ spring break trip to practice being a carefree single guy. Then he meets the woman across the street. Sloane is a single mom who has used Eli’s youngest sisters to babysit on several occasions. Eli is certain the last thing he wants is more responsibility and Sloane is sure she doesn’t need another man to disappoint her like her late husband. Their journey to each other is really entertaining and sweet. I can’t wait to see where Christie takes the next story.

Christie Ridgway is really on a winning streak with this series! Her characters are so vulnerable one moment and then determined to go after what they want the next that you can't help but fall in love with them. Eli...wow! He's raised four little sisters. He's learned how to braid hair. He's listened when there were hurt feelings and when one of the girls had good news. Get this--he even measured and marked off the height of each girl on their birthday, just like his mom had done.

Single mother Sloane meets Eli Smith and the attraction is hard to fight. Eli has raised his 4 sisters for 10 years and is ready to embrace the bachelor life. Sloane has struggled to build a good home for her daughter Paige but finds herself needing help from her neighbor. She tries to fight her growing attraction (READ: Love) since she knows he doesn’t want to be tied down after finally being free. But the sweet way he has with her daughter and his generosity to her even when he was planning for a wild time while his sisters are out of town make it difficult for her. He thinks his attraction is just because he has had such a dry spell and convinces himself that he’ll be fine once she is on her own again. Their attraction sizzled, the story was great and I enjoyed this second book in the 7 stud club series of a group of 7 poker-playing-buddies.

Fall in love with Eli! He's taken on the responsibility of his younger sisters after their parents death, becoming a father and mother as well as taking over the family business a regular knight in shining armor, right? Problem he's done, once the last two sisters are in college his bachelorhood begins, well with his sisters gone for spring break he's ready for a test run, ladies line up! But there's this neighbor that just seems to unintentionally mess up his plans and she comes with a ready made family, just what Eli's not looking for. But when his neighbor turns into a damsel in distress the knight shows up by offering his spare room. That shouldn't affect is debauchery goals right...Great story with feels, humor and Baby Sally :) Enjoy!

This is the second book on the 7 Stud Club about a group of friends that get together to play poker. This story is about Eli and Sloane. Eli has been raising his four younger sisters since his parents died when he was eighteen. He's tired of the responsibility and is looking forward to his bachelor days when the last two go off to college. Sloane is a single mom to a cute little girl; she is the exact opposite of what Eli is looking for. However, once they start spending time together will Eli stick with his bachelorhood plan or realize he's a family man after all. This book was well written. I liked both main characters; they are very relatable. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to reading the rest of the books in it.

Eli has had to take on responsibility earlier in life than most. When his parents died, he took on the role of raising his younger sisters. Now they are finally almost fully grown and starting their lives. He's looking forward to having some freedom to do some of the things he missed out in his early twenties. Life rarely goes as planned. Enter Sloane, her daughter, dog and baby doll. Before you know it, Eli's life is going a new direction. I loved this story! It was fun, emotional and completely entertaining. While part of a series, each story in this series stands alone. I've loved the first two books and look forward to the next. This was a sweet, sensual, well-written book. Sloane is a single mother who can take care of just about everything for herself. But a leaky roof sends her to the neighbor's house, the hot and tempting Eli. Eli has spent the last decade raising his orphaned sisters and is about to become a free-and-easy bachelor. They are attracted to each other but have no intentions of getting seriously involved... This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #2 in the 7 Stud Club series. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as other books by this author.

This is the second book in the 7-Stud Club series. Eli has been raising his sisters since his parents death 10 years earlier. The girls decide to go on a road trip leaving him alone to explore the joys of bachelorhood. He's ready for a week of no responsibilities and dating. Sloane is a single mom who takes her responsibilities very seriously. She has no time or energy for romance. A leaky roof throws them together but Eli is sure he doesn't want to be tied down anymore and Sloane knows that he isn't what she needs. A threatened custody battle brings them together but for how long? An very enjoyable read with great characters.

I wish I had the kind of friends that are in the 7-Stud Club. They are there for each other and in this book several of them are there to help Eli see the error of his ways. Seriously, if you haven't started this series yet, then get going because I think the men and the stories are just going to keep getting hotter!

I really like Eli and how he sacrificed himself to take care of his sisters after their parents' deaths. Sloane has a hard childhood but now all she wants to do is be a good mother. Eli and Sloane are attracted to each other, but Eli is ready for the single life. All his sisters are gone for two weeks and he is going to be wild for those two weeks. What he didn't count on was Sloane and her daughter needing him. He is a knight in shining armor and he is going to ride to the rescue. And he didn't count on Sloane rescuing him right back.

This is the 2nd book in the 7-Stud Club series. Eli has spent the last 10 years raising his 4 younger sisters after their parents' death and now it's his turn to enjoy Spring Break on his own when his sisters leave home for their own trip. The last thing Eli thinks he needs in his life is the single mother neighbor who comes knocking on his door asking for help. Although predictable, this was a simple but entertaining read with fun characters.

I really enjoyed this book. Eli was ready to be alone after taking care of his sisters, but them Sloane shows up with her daughter and dog needing a place to stay. They try to give each other space, but they wind up drawn together. Will they end up together or will Eli decide he wants to be a bachelor? This was a very well written book and I loved the characters. I look forward to the rest of the books in this series.

OMG! Ms. Ridgway hits it out of the ball park with a story that will spark every emotion. You will laugh, sigh and cheer at the uproarious complications that Eli faces thanks to sisters who only have his best interests at heart. Terrific characters and storyline!! Love Ms. Ridgway's way with words!!
