No Longer Available

Melaine Dalibert (born 1979) is a french pianist and composer. After studying in Rennes and Paris conservatories he actively engaged in contemporary creation in parallel of a large classical repertory production. He plays world premieres from Gérard Pession, Giuliano D'Angiolini, Michael-Vincent Waller, Tom Johnson, and many others, in solo, with chamber ensemble and orchestra, in Europe and in the USA.

Besides his career as a performer, Melaine Dalibert worked on an algorithms based composition system. His pieces mainly for piano are built on a minimal sound approach to spotlight their own development processes.

Close to visual arts, he collaborated with Véra Molnar, François Morellet and Marcel Dinahet. His body of work has been performed in many art centers by Nicolas Horvath, Reiner Van Houdt among others, broadcasted on great radio channels (BBC, KBCS, France Musique, RTBF...) and is available on Another Timbre label.
