About Us

WELCOME TO THE BETSEY WYNNE

Surrounded by patios, manicured gardens and 1,300 acres of farmland, The Betsey Wynne in Swanbourne re-opened its doors in 2017. Named after the Swanbourne Estate’s 18th century owner, this traditional home farm venue has become a prominent destination in the village thanks to its striking views, 100-seat restaurant, and extensive bar and lounge area. For our younger guests, an old Massey 135 tractor has become a popular attraction.

Open daily from 9am, we serve a Mediterranean-inspired menu. Traceable from farm to fork, our meat and poultry come from British farms, our eggs are free range, and our fish is responsibly sourced from suppliers approved by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)

With its finely hewn oak beams, terracotta floor tiles and open inglenook fireplace, our bar area provides a range of comfortable seating options, including the intimate snug. A wide range of real ales, wines and spirits sit alongside drinks sourced from the local Chiltern Brewery, and our coffee is brewed with Rainforest Alliance ThreeSixty Rainforest blend beans from estates in Colombia and Brazil. We proudly sponsor Buckingham Rugby Club minis and juniors.

In our carpark you’ll find a Vehicle Charging point provided by Pod Point making The Betsey Wynne the perfect pitstop for both you and your electric vehicle.

What Our Guests Say

the oakman inns family

Oakman Inns & Restaurants was founded in 2005. Our vision was to create an environment where like-minded people could come and enjoy some great food and drinks whilst catching up with friends, family, neighbours and colleagues.

We quickly won a place in the hearts and minds of local people through our support of local sports teams and community events. Then we started winning awards too. Today we work hard to replicate this recipe in each and every new pub that we open.
