2018-19 - Appeared in 14 games in his first season with the Lions … one of two newcomers/transfers to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.41 GPA) … posted a season-high of 12 points and eight rebounds in the first game of the season against St. Cloud State (11/9) … added seven points in 11 minutes played at Nebraska-Kearney (3/2) as well … also part of squad that finished No. 1 in the MIAA in scoring offense (86.7), total rebounds (1,279), rebounds per game (38.76), assists (550), three-point field goals per game (10.9), free-throw attempts (730), and free throws made (531) on top of finishing top-20 in the country in ten categories: sixth in three-point field goals (966), eighth in three-point field goals made (359), 13th in total assists, 14th in three-point field goal per game, 15th in free throws made and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.49), 16th in in free-throw attempts and defensive rebounds per game (28.55), and 17th in scoring offense and total rebounds.

Prior to Southern - Brown comes to the Lions after two years at Concordia-St. Paul ... as a sophomore for the Golden Bears, Brown saw action in all 29 games with 16 starts ... Brown averaged 8.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and shot 57 percent from the field ... He was second on the team with 13 blocks ... As a freshman he appeared in 30 games with 27 starts, averaging 8.8 points in 22 minutes per game.
 
High School - Brown prepped at Dowling Catholic High School where he was a four-year letter winner ... He helped the Maroons to an Iowa State Tournament appearance, averaging 9.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game ... He was a first-team All-State and All-Conference pick.
 
Personal - Brown is the son of Jeanne and Bob Brown and will be a business major at Southern.
