2019 - Appeared in 28 games and started 22 of them in the outfield for the Lions … one of 12 to Lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.68 GPA) … recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage off of 33 putouts and three assists without an error as part of a squad that put together a fielding percentage of .966 for second overall in the MIAA while being tied for the least amount of errors committed at 45 … at the plate, she batted .229 with 16 hits and knocking in three RBIs in 70 appearances … had a season-high three hits in 10-5 victory at Lindenwood (4/6) and scored two runs in another win at Pittsburg State (3/9).

2018 - Appeared in 51 and started in 50 games as part of a speedy outfield trio in her sophomore season...one of 12 lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.73 GPA)...came up with 34 hits for 13 runs scored and 10 RBIs toward a .260 batting average and a .319 on-base percentage..finished fourth on the team in fielding percentage (.976)...went a season-best 3-for-3 with a double in a win over Drury (3/4)...knocked in a season-high two RBIs versus Mankato (3/16). 

Prior to Southern - Meyer comes to the Lions after red-shirting her sophomore season at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During her freshman season with the Eagles, she helped KCC to a 58-6 record that included a NJCAA D2 District 11 title and an appearance in the NJCAA D2 World Series. Meyer played in 64 games with a batting average of .404 with 65 hits and was fourth in the NJCAA D2 in scoring with 85 runs. Emilee was also 13th in the nation in stolen bases during her freshman season with 36 and earned second team All-Region honors. Before heading off to KCC, she was a three-time letter winner in the outfield for Muscatine (Iowa) HS prior to KCC. She was a two time first team All-Conference selection while hitting .495 as a junior and .406 during her senior campaign. She was 16-for-18 in stolen bases during her junior year and went 43-for-46 her senior season. During her junior season, she helped lead the Muskies to a IHSAA (Iowa High Schools Athletic Association) Class 5A fifth place finish and earned second team All-State honors. Meyer was also a two time second team All-Metro and first team All-Area selection during her time at MHS and was a four-time academic All-Conference honoree. Emilee also played volleyball, basketball, and ran track for the Muskies earning eight additional letters in those sports.

Personal - Meyer plans to major in biology at Southern and is the daughter of Brian and Jennifer Meyer.
