2017 - Played in 56 and started 54 games in her first season for the Lions...earned second team All-MIAA selection at designated player...ended the season tied for second on the team in RBIs (38) and triples (2) , tied for third in hits (59), sacrifice hits (5), and hit by pitches (3), fourth in runs scored (28), and tied for fifth in walks (10) and doubles (7)...had 17 multi-hit games, including four games with three hits at Southeastern Okla. (Feb. 4), versus Chadron State (Feb. 10), Drury (Feb. 17), and at Fort Hayes State (Mar. 30)...she knocked in season-high four RBIs against SOS as well where her only home run, which turned out to be a grand slam...also pitched in five games and started one with a 1-1 record on the mound..played almost all of the 26 MIAA games at DP and was fourth on the team in batting average with .317...finished the MIAA season with 26 hits, nine runs, four doubles, a triple, and 19 RBIs.

Prior to Southern - comes to Southern from East Central (Mo.) College...during her freshman season she saw action on 56 contests with 66 hits, 17 doubles, and 13 home runs...she finished her freshman year with a batting average of .357, on base percentage of .411, and a slugging percentage of .659...she made two appearances for the Flacons inside the circle with one start...allowed just six hits with two earned runs and struck out five...during her sophomore season she saw action in 50 contests with 84 hits, 57 runs scored, 20 doubles, and 13 home runs...she swiped 16 stolen bases and finished the year with a .488 batting average, a .542 on base percentage, and an .831 slugging percentage...she made 30 appearances inside the circle for the Falcons with 28 starts winning 15 contests...she tossed 27 complete games with three shut outs and a total of 184 innings pitched...she struck out 107 while giving up only one home run on the season...she finished her career at East Central as the all-time leader in home runs (26), doubles (37), RBIs (100), and hits (150)...she was fourth in career stolen bases (25), sixth in career batting average (.420)...inside the circle she finished sixth in career wins (15), and sixth in career strike outs (112)...she was an All-Region selection both years at East Central as well as All-Conference and a second team All-American selection during her sophomore season...played high school ball at Newburg HS for coaches Donny Anderson and Andrew Lott..she earned first team All-Conference honors all four years as well as first team All-District honors...was a first team All-Region selection both her freshman and senior seasons and a second team All-Region selection her sophomore and junior years and a second team All-State selection her senior season...also played basketball, earning four letters, for the Wolves.

Personal - daughter of Vincent and Jennifer Friend...plans to major in accounting at Southern.
