Fleur has great rhythm and is a fantastic dancer but before Strictly Come Dancing she hadn't had dance training. While on Loose Women, Fleur spoke about being in the dance off, saying: "It’s hard not to take it personally but to tell you the truth I’m not a trained dancer no matter what anybody thinks. I’ve never been to stage school. I don’t know what toe is, what heel is… (Vito) will tell you, I don’t know any of it.

“I’ve literally just been winging it to be honest. The thing is when you sing, you have the mic in your hand. You’re controlling the vocals, you can't really move that much to be honest. It’s like smoke and mirrors - you’ve got dancers behind you and If I’ve ever done a music video and I can’t get a dance move, they’ll change it because I'm the singer. I’ve never had to do anything I can’t do.”

Was Fleur East on The Masked Singer?

Fleur East was not on The Masked Singer, but while the show was on, former co-host Greg, and James - Fleur's co-host, thought she was Octopus on the TV show in 2020. Fleur repeatedly denied being on the hit TV show, however she was forced to do a lie detector test live on the Hits Radio Breakfast show, with the results being inconclusive.

Greg and James also thought Fleur could be Daisy because of the clues. "It does say Daisy's real name is based upon the seeds that she grew from," Greg said. With James adding, she had been: "Uprooted from her home soil", which would fit with Fleur having moved from London to Manchester to present the Hits Radio Breakfast show.

As the lie detector test didn't seem to reveal much, Greg and James decided to ask The Darkness' Justin Hawkins. In week two, Justin was revealed as Chameleon, so he joined us on Hits Radio to tell us more about the show, and what it was like backstage at The Masked Singer.

However, despite asking Justin if he'd seen Fleur backstage, he admitted the security was so tight he hadn't seen anyone, so Greg and James are still none the wiser.

Here at Hits Radio, we also caught up with will.i.am, and asked him if HE'D been on The Masked Singer, to which it seemed he couldn't keep a straight face. 🤔

Did Fleur East win I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here?

Fleur East was on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2018 and although she didn't win, she did make it to 4th place.

Fleur was the eighth person to be eliminated from the show, in the year that Harry Redknapp won. Fleur's ability to come up with songs on the spot was a huge hit with viewers such as her, 'I Like My Bum' anthem in the video below.

Speaking about her time on the show, she said: "The experience was amazing but a lot more daunting than The X Factor. Singing was what I knew, it’s my passion, my love, but then going to the jungle was weird. Even the name, I’m A Celebrity.., at that point I didn’t even see myself as a celebrity per se but I had the most amazing time.

"I made the most incredible memories and friends for life. Harry Redknapp and I are still in touch, he came to my wedding with his wife, and I go out with his granddaughter. Harry always used to get me to sing Celine Dion to him so I always sang 'My Heart Will Go On' round the campfire to Harry."
