             Overheating

The increased use of insulation, improved airtightness, along with poor design practices, and rising summer temperatures has led to the introduction of Approved Document Part O in 2021. This document aims to demonstrate that mitigation measures have been taken to reduce the risk of overheating in new builds.

We can provide overheating assessments for residential developments to ensure compliance with part O. Our services include creating a 3D  dynamic thermal model along with a report in accordance with CIBSE TM59. If necessary, we also offer mitigation measures, which may include passive or controlled strategies. Additionally, we are pleased to offer a complimentary review of your project drawings during the design stage, aiming to identify potential issues early on.
