For students

If you are a current student at Texas State and interested in education research, please feel free to reach out to any of the faculty in our group. For undergraduate students, participation in the Learning Assistant program is typically the pre-/co-requisite to starting an education research project with us, along with availability and sufficient shared interest in a research topic among you and a faculty member. Undergraduate students interested in becoming teachers are also highly encouraged to check out the resources on the Physics Department website. For graduate students, you are encouraged to enroll in PHYS 5350D, Cognitive Foundations of Physics Education Research, and to discuss your interests and potential plans with a faculty member in our group.
