About the NETWORK
Work, Rest and Power is an interdisciplinary network for scholars researching the relationship between architecture, space and political life during the Early Modern era (1500-1815). Our network is open to all, but is particularly aimed at scholars in fields such as Archaeology, Architecture, History and History of Art.
This network has been created following the Work, Rest and Power workshop of May 2021, an online event which brought together scholars from around the world who are studying this emerging area of research. The network aims to maintain and expand the diverse community of scholars which the workshop brought together. We hope that our blog and email newsletters will provide a forum through which scholars in the field can share information about their ongoing research. |
