About this event

A day for clinical trial researchers and patients to share their experience and expertise, where all perspectives will be addressed and discussed.

By engaging in ad hoc conversations with patient and public representatives, the CRUK & UCL Cancer Trials Centre has organised an event that, rather than a day full of scientific talks, will be a day of interactive activities, live polls, focus groups and workshops around the topics of:

• Role of the PPI representative in cancer research

• Inequalities in accessing cancer care and clinical trials across the UK

• Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in clinical trial recruitment

• The process of Informed Consent

• Barriers and solutions to participation in clinical trials

• Quality of life and behavioural sciences in cancer patients
