Send Dutch Brain Olympiad Winner to Final in Korea

(English follows Dutch) Dit jaar werd de Nederlandse Hersenolympiade voor het eerst georganiseerd. Na een spannende competitiedag, heeft Myrthe Weessies (18) uit Nijmegen de 1e prijs gewonnen. De jury was enorm onder de indruk van haar kennis over het brein.
Als National Champion wordt Myrthe uitgenodigd (met een ouder/verzorger en een begeleider van de Hersenolympiade) om deel te nemen aan de International Brain Bee, de internationale finale, in Zuid-Korea!
Aldus Myrthe: "Ik heb bij de nationale ronde van de hersenolympiade héél veel geleerd. Het was een interessante en ontzettend leuke dag. Ik hoop in Zuid-Korea ook veel te leren en met trots Nederland te kunnen vertegenwoordigen"
In Zuid-Korea zal Myrthe kennis maken met de andere Brain Bee champions uit meer dan 50 landen wereldwijd en ook een kijkje kunnen nemen op het International Brain Research Organisation World Congress. Brain Champions uit andere landen noemen het deelnemen aan de international finale als een onvergetelijke gebeurtenis.
Met deze campagne verzamelen we het geld voor 3 retour tickets naar Zuid-Korea, zodat Nederland vertegenwoordigd zal zijn op de International Brain Bee finale!

This year, the first Dutch Brain Olympiad was organized. Myrthe Weessies (18) from Nijmegen won the exciting competition and was awarded the first National Champion title. The judges were very impressed with her knowledge of the brain.
As National Champion, Myrthe is invited (alongside a parent/guardian and representative of the Dutch Brain Olympiad) to participate in the International Brain Bee finals, in South-Korea!
According to Myrthe: "I have learned a great deal at the national final of the Dutch Brain Olympiad. It was a very interesting and incredibly fun day. I hope to learn a lot in South-Korea as well, and to be able to proudly represent the Netherlands".
In South-Korea, Myrthe will meet the other Brain Bee champions from over 50 countries worldwide and compete for the international title. She will also be allowed to visit the International Brain Research Organization's World Congress. Previous Brain Champions said that participating in the international finals is a marvellous experience, one that they will never forget.
With this campaign, the Brain Olympiad organization is raising funds for 3 return-tickets to South-Korea, to ensure that the Netherlands will be represented in the International Brain Bee Finals!
