'Beyond the Headlines' Tour of Israel & Palestine
This initiative aims to transcend the headlines, bringing visitors together with journalists, experts, local communities, families and organizations to better grasp the situation on the ground, and to support those who continue to pursue a more just, peaceful future. Proudly developed by our team of Palestinian and Israeli guides in response to the current conflict in Palestine and Israel.

Upcoming Tour Dates: May 25 - 31, 2024 + September 14 - 20, 2024

A Dual Narrative Tour of Ireland
This tour provides a unique Dual Narrative perspective on both sides, with Catholic and Protestant tour guides sharing their community histories and stories. Given the conflict’s personal nature, travelers will meet with several locals across Belfast and Derry/Londonderry, including journalists, politicians, historians, and artists—for insight into how peace was built and how so many work hard to sustain it today.

Upcoming Tour Dates: October 6 – 13, 2024 + May 18 -25, 2025

MEJDI's Dual Narrative Tour Framework
An industry first, our two-guide model equips groups with two local guides, each representing unique cultural, religious, political, and ethnic narratives. Originally launched in Israel and Palestine as the Dual Narrative Tour™—where MEJDI travelers are guided by one Palestinian guide and one Israeli—this tour proved so popular it is now an option in all MEJDI destinations.

Global Leader in Socially Conscious Travel.

Together, we can create a more peaceful and interconnected world through socially conscious travel

The MEJDI team’s deep roots in social change work is where our mission comes from. MEJDI was founded by two peacebuilding practitioners, Aziz Abu Sarah and Scott Cooper. After leading social change programs all over the world, Aziz and Scott discovered that travel was one of the most powerful tools for creating a better planet. They decided to share their unique experiences and an unmatched network of contacts with those who aspire to become citizen diplomats.

We hope you’ll join us.
