2020 - Wright appeared in five games for the Lions as a releif pitcher... Pitched 5.1 innings striking out six batters... One of 17 Lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2019 – Wright pitched in 27 games … He posted a 2-1 and had 23.1 innings of work where he allowed 11 runs (seven earned) on 19 hits with 16 walks and 19 strikeouts. He maintained a 2.70 ERA through 101 batters faced… he had an 1.000 fielding percentage with one put out and one assist.

2018 - Wright saw action in 11 games out of the bullpen for the Lions in 2018 ... he finished with a 3.86 ERA, striking out nine batters in 14 innings pitched. 

Prior to Southern - Wright comes to Southern from Bucklin High School where he was a four-year letter winner in baseball and three-year letter winner in basketball ... A pitcher and third basemen for coach Riley Lucas, Wright was a first-team All-Conference pick four times, as well as a four-time All-State pick. 

Personal - The son of John Wright ... Wright is a criminal justice major at Southern.
