Here at timber roots we enjoy using traditional techniques along with modern building materials, that preserve and compliment our built heritage. Creating a healthy and sustainable environment to live and work in.
New traditionally framed timber structures are our speciality, but we also enjoy working on the conservation of older buildings too, working with other passionate craftsmen and women within this sector.
Sadly many pre 1919 buildings are incorrectly maintained and ultimately end in cold damp buildings. The use of cement on traditional timber framed buildings can lead to rapid demise of the structure.
