We Welcome You and invite you to see what we do!

Winter & Spring 2024

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP:

SIMPLY ASK: Be a “helping hand” by getting the word out to your circle of influence about attendance at our youth engagement planned program activities.

Bring your family and friends, and youth girls and boys in your “circle of influence,” to the meetings. Make sure they are part of this journey of excellence: planned activities and exposure outings. Let's work together to connect young people to their Destiny!

UCF is intentional to reach out to Dads, moms, guardians, mentors, church youth leaders, coaches, and anyone working directly with youth, register your student(s) to connect to UCF's many youth engagement initiatives.

Again, THANK YOU for all the differences you make in our community to impact and enhance the lives of our young people and their families in the post-pandemic season.

Stay Connected: I can be reached at (301) 641-7261 or Jackie Rhone (301) 926- 2443 or email unity.christian.fellowship2006@gmail.com.

“Building Youth Success by Changing the Landscape and Leveraging Opportunities"

About Unity Christian Fellowship

Thank you for visiting Unity Christian Fellowship, Incorporated’s (UCF’s) website. We hope that you will feel our excitement as you visit the many locations on this site. We are very active in the community with like-minded organizations that are concerned with youth development and promoting student success.

UCF is a 501(c)3 non-profit community-based, premiere youth development organization that focuses on developing youth through enriching activities throughout the year. Since 2006, our youth organization has continued to successfully nurture, assist, and link young people to their destiny. We were founded by a group of Christian friends who turned what we naturally do for the community into an organization that works with young people of all ages.

Our mission is to promote student success and “change lives in the community one student at a time” by exposing young people to positive experiences that they otherwise would not have.  We do this by teaching educational strategies, leadership and life skills that enable them to make wise decisions throughout their middle and high school education.

The members of UCF intend to serve as a catalyst in the community.  And our students are expected to become responsible, civic-minded adults who will make a positive contribution in their homes, schools, community, and society. In that light, this marks the second year that students have served in leadership roles within the organization.

We have formed a strong circle of supportive adults to help students navigate life's daily pitfalls, deal with the challenges of adolescence, and successfully manage their academic requirements in school. We teach our students to consistently strive for excellence in school. We want all of our students to improve their academic performance before they graduate from high school so they will have options and a successful path forward--be it college enrollment, vocation/trade schools, or careers in the military, federal service or private sector.

UCF also awards scholarships to eligible students who are highly motivated, demonstrate a commitment to community service, perform successfully academically, and have leadership potential.  Eligible students must have actively participated in the Aim High in Life Educational and Life Skills Program for a minimum of one year. The scholarships are funded primarily through UCF’s Annual Scholarship Dinner and private contributions.
