In order to provide an enriched and highly interactive experience for all the participants, WHC 2021 has adopted X-CD technologies’ virtual platform for its online program. The platform provides excellent opportunities for the participants to engage synchronously and asynchronously with the presenters and industrial exhibitors, and to network with other participants. The registration fees cover the cost of this virtual platform as well as other conference expenses that remain despite its virtual format. The registration fees have been set with the objective of balancing the conference budget while increasing its reach within and beyond the haptics community.

Cancellation Policy: If a participant makes a request for cancellation, the following refund policy applies

▪ Before or on May 31: 70% of payment refund.
▪ Between June 1 and June 25: 35% of payment refund.
▪ After June 25: no refund.

Cancellation requests must be made formally via email to registration@2021.worldhaptics.org.
In the event that the conference is canceled due to force majeure or situations beyond the organizers’ control, the amount of refund, if applicable, will depend on the expenses and financial commitments incurred by the conference as of the cancellation date.
