Dry and Durable provides extremely water-repellent and self-cleaning materials with unforeseen abrasion resistance.

Extreme water-repellency

It’s like water off a duck’s back – except it’s much more than that. Our materials provide the highest level of water repellency combined with self-cleaning, anti-icing, anti-fogging, and liquid barrier properties.

All this and more is augmented with our patented microstructuring that provides an unprecedented level of abrasion resistance to the material.

200X more durable

Abrasion resistance is one of the most challenging aspects of extremely water-repellent materials. Our patented microstructures solves this issue in an innovative way that allows use of a multitude of different coatings and base materials.

Our Foundation

  • Inspired by Nature

Sensors and other sensitive equipment are affected by liquids and dirt causing malfunctions and increased maintenance costs.

Like the leaves of the Lotus plant, our materials stay clean and dry.

  • Unique Solution

Our patented combination of a designed micro-pattern and a coating provide the best combination of water-repellency and abrasion resistance for real-world applications and conditions.

  • Growing Possibilities

The global market of hydrophobic coatings reaches $1.6B annually. Extremely water-repellent coatings are an emerging technology growing over 7.5 % per year.
