Registration for PhD defence + karonkka

Dear colleague, dear friend:

Thank you for your interest in the public defence of my PhD, to be held at 14:00 on 8 May at Grauwzusters promotion hall, Stadscampus, University of Antwerp (address: Lange St-Annastraat 7, 2000 Antwerpen).

The PhD defence is open to the public, but I ask for registration ahead of time. Please register no later than Friday 19 April 2024.

After the PhD defence, I am hosting a formal dinner in honour of the doctoral jury, called "karonkka" according to Finnish academic tradition. The karonkka will be held from 18:00 at the University Club, Stadscampus, University of Antwerp (address: Prinsstraat 13b, 2000 Antwerpen).

You are welcome to attend one or both events. But especially for the karonkka, I need a binding registration by 19 April so I can confirm this with the restaurant. I will send one final information email to all registered participants after the deadline for registrations has passed.
