Labour shortages are not only linked to a lack of skills, but also to low pay or poor working conditions, stresses ETUI

Discussions on labour shortages should not only focus on skills, but also on the “issue of low pay and poor working conditions”, which also explain labour shortages, argued ETUI, the European Trade Union Institute, in a new study published on Tuesday 9 May to mark the launch of the European Year of Skills.
