The world of magic is beautiful and enchanting, but there is darkness here too.

Dara has been to hell and back trying to discover her destiny. Thrown into a world she didn’t know she belonged to, she’s completed the first task of claiming Emerald, but lost someone she cares about in the process.

She finds her thoughts divided between finding the second stone—Topaz—and rescuing one of her warriors who was captured in battle. More now than ever, she’s determined to put her power-hungry uncle and his plans for complete domination down once and for all.

Intensifying relationships with her other three warriors test her as they prepare for their most important mission yet. The one thing they don’t count on is their enemy becoming stronger than ever before.

This is the second book in this series. I thoroughly loved the first and I'm.so happy to say I was not let down with the second.... I absoustly was hooked from the first page to the last!!@ it is a great second book to give you more.of an insight to Dara and her warriors as well.as life in Silvia and her battle with her uncle. It has a good twist with a previous charcter surfacing. I can not wait to find out what happens next and I recommend this series of books.

This was something else...
I didn't read book 1, so I was surprised to stumble into a reverse harem story. I didn't even know it was taking place on another planet until past the halfway point. The dialogue was cheesy. It drove me nuts how the author would write something and then the next sentence the character says the exact same thing. It happened a lot. At one point the plot was totally abandoned in favor of a fuck-fest. I'm not sure where all of the 5 star reviews are coming from, unless they read something different than what I did.

Seriously... .

Loved, loved loved Topaz!
Was great being back in Dara's world of Silvia with her warriors, and we finally got some raunchy scenes with her men.
And of course Jenna left it on a cliffhanger and now I need the next book like yesterday.
Make sure you pick up these book by Jenna and immerse yourself in the world of Silvia.

Dara has many challenges to face and a new stone to find. But she's running out of time and her nemesis has upped the ante. Will she be able to protect the people she loves while following her destiny? Will her warriors help her succeed or prove to be too much of a naughty distraction..? Topaz kept me turning pages until the end and I can't wait for the next book! You won't be disappointed.

We head back in the world of Silvia, where good fights evil. The world is dying and Dara needs to find these crystals to have the power to save it. There is plenty of sizzle between Dara and her warriors amongst the action. This ended on a cliffhanger so I need to find out what happens next.

Oh sweet lanta this book. I like to pretend my heart is made of ice, then books like Topaz blindside me into feeling all sorts of emotions. There were so many moments that just tore out my heart and stomped on it. Then one of our precious warriors would swoop in to pick it off the ground and nurture it back to life. Hot lanta those damn warriors and their heart stealing ways.

Jenna the world building you have continued with just continues to get more enchanting as we go. You have created this beautiful oasis that is Silvia. When you started to test the limits of its beauty during all of the chaos it took my damn breath away.

There was so much growth in this sequel, but the emotional growth is what hit me the most. Dara is still trying to find her bearings with her destiny as well as with all of her warriors. It was refreshing to see her establish more of an emotional connection with her men. The scene that tore my heart open the most was when some specific devastating twist is revealed and how her warriors put so much effort into caring for her tenderly. They knew just want to do to bring her comfort without her having to ask for it. I was the most surprised and enamored with her blossoming connections to Harlan and Declan. It was endearing getting to know a different side of them, and I have to say they are quickly burrowing into my heart.

PS those steamy scenes. Damn. I need more of those in the next book. I also expect a fan be delivered to my house so I have some way to cool down and keep myself under control.

I feel like book one focused a lot on them getting to know each other again on a surface basis and Dara training her body for what’s to come. Book two focuses more on the emotional connection with her warriors and Dara struggling with the mental toll her destiny is having on her. Emerald tested her body. Topaz tested her mind. I’m starting to wonder if Ruby will test her soul, maybe even her heart.

Dara and her warriors are back in this next book following Emerald. Dara is getting stronger, but after the last mistake that her Uncle made he's sure not to repeat that again. He's learned his lesson and learned it well. But he now has something that Dara wants and he'll stop at nothing to get what it is that he wants...the stones that she is after and the one she has acquired.
Topaz by Jenna Lee is book two in her Silvia Saga and for me, this book was more engaging than the first. The author really hits the ground running with this book and it grabs you up and sweeps you along. One of Dara's warriors was captured in the last book and the author leads off with this. Dara is now in a race against time to get him back before James, her uncle kills him through torture. James has more tricks up his sleeve though and though he may suffer a loss on one front he's prepared to do what it takes to get what he wants. The author gives us more with Dara and her men as well. Things get hot and steamy that's for sure!
This story is truly enjoyable and engaging from start to finish, but it's not without its issues. I have to say that for me, it's in some of the steamier scenes with Dara and her men. I just find it a bit unbelievable and farfetched for her to be screaming after five seconds of them simply touching her. Usually, when something like that happens it's screams of pain but she's supposed to be screaming with pleasure. After more build-up I can see it, but not after them touching her for barely any time at all. There were some editorial issues as well, but I'm hopeful that those have all been taken care of.
All in all, I enjoyed this book and I am rating it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. Highly recommended to those who enjoyed the first book in this series!

I am a proud member of Jenna Lee's ARC squad and received this free ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed herein are my own.

Topaz picks up right where Emerald leaves off. They're down one warrior and her evil uncle has Blair in his clutches.  Despite the continual reiteration that the world is going to die if they don't move quickly, the impatience in saving Blair and the idea that the crystals are supposed to be hard to find, the book clipped by so quickly that the actual suspense was never truly realized.

Outside of that, the harem functioned nicely in this book with quite a few, ahem, descriptive scenes. It was nice to get back into the land of Silvia and see where the group was headed, and Topaz is a solid bridge book. I am looking forward to reading Ruby because while Topaz had its issues, it was still an entertaining read that keeps me invested in the warriors and Dara.

In book two we find Dara and the guys trying to find Blair and save him. They are also looking for the second stone and stay away from James men. When they find out that a friend of theirs has been taken they have to figure out how to save her and their friend helping them on the inside. Will they be able to find and save them all or will James keep them fro. Finding who they want?
Amazing read with all feels keeps you turning page after to see what happens next. It has a lot of steam and heat to keep.you wanting more. I can't wait to read the next one

Dara’s quest to retrieve the second stone in the set of three continues. Remember when we were told to work as a team to succeed? It comes into play for Dara and her men as things heat up and James becomes even more diabolical in his effort to defeat her. Each book becomes more intense and I can’t wait to read the next one.

This is the second book in the Silvia saga series! It was a definite step for me in the series. The first book was more of an introduction to me than a complete story. I loved how the characters were more fully built in Topaz. It definitely got steamy! I loved seeing their interactions. I also liked the introductions to some side characters. I am most definitely looking forward to to book 3.

This book picked up right where the last one left off, which I definitely appreciate.
I liked the character development in this book, in particular with the relationships. The interactions definitely helped make this story for me.
I cannot wait to see what is next in store for Dara and the warriors.
