What an absolutely incredible conclusion to the Every Breath duet. Faith Andrews gives us her very best as London Monroe has finally found the true love of her life. She and her beau (who I won't reveal if you have yet to read book 1) are beautiful together and I loved watching as London enjoys the new feelings she has while falling even deeper than she ever thought possible.

Together with a simmering mystery involving her absent brother Memphis and the incessant reappearances of her ex, Hunter, London has her hands full. Not to mention her wonderful mother is still on the mend as her bestie Sam continues to be her rock no matter what.

Faith Andrews combines a complicated love story with the right amount of intrigue to make this some of her best work to date. I appreciated that she wrote book 2 as both the obvious continuation to Take My Break Away and as a story that takes on a new direction and focus. We get the opportunity to see London tie up some previously unfortunate loose ends and proudly take notice that she is one helluva strong woman. So much is thrown her way and I'm happy to report that she not only handles it courageously but digs deep enough to let go of the past and move forward with the only man worthy of her heart.

You must read book 1 first to get the whole incredible journey that is London Monroe's current life. It's filled with twists and turns and all kinds of sexy goodness that only Faith Andrews can deliver.

I happily give Take My Breath Away a huge 5 stars!

I have been looking forward to the ending of the duet.... and I can say I really enjoyed it. I would give this book a solid 4. The reason I am not going to a 5 star is that I felt it was a little rushed around the big climax part of the book and a little unrealistic. The book seemed rushed after that point. Leading up to it, I was fully in the book and kept guessing what on earth was going on with everyone. I don't want to leave spoilers, but I would say this is a solid 4. I will go pick up another book from this author because I did really enjoy her writing and man, she can put out some angsty stuff!

Love and lies never go together. As Sam gives an incredible gift to London’s Mom, we get to go back and experience their relationship from Sam’s point of view. We learn that Sam is still hiding something from London that involves Hunter, her ex-husband. Given everything that London has endured, when this is finally revealed, will her love for Sam win? Or will she let this betrayal pull them apart. Memphis and Hunter, wow, these are a pair. Getting themselves into more trouble than I would have guessed but then to bring it right to their family’s door. And Hunter, well, he believes all his choices had good intentions but truly, his selfishness is all consuming. The complexity of this journey is beautifully portrayed as everyone involved has to face life’s hard choices. Sam and London’s story provided an amazing experience in finding your true love and learning that it’s ok to forgive.

Will they find a good donor? Will London and Sam get the love they have always wanted? You need to read this book and Every Breath You Take. The characters will drawl you in. The books have drama, suspense and most of all love! The author wrote the books beautifully. It’s not a perfect romance, it’s realistic, real love isn’t easy all the time. I fell in love with the authors writing in first book and now I have to read every book she writes.

This was the perfect ending to this duet. The plot thickened and these characters obviously had more to share with the author. Everything came full circle in this ending and while I still have questions about Memphis it was the perfect conclusion.
