At the time it seemed like a great idea to smash her soon-to-be ex-fiancé’s car to smithereens. After all, she’d caught two scantily clad women going up to his office in the middle of the night... On their anniversary.

It would have been a crime for her not to do something. So, with a little help from some liquid courage and a quick lapse in judgment, Erica grabbed a bat and went to work.

Served him right, really. Seeing as he was a cheating, lying, so and so.

Until she realized one teeny-tiny itty-bitty little detail…

It wasn’t exactly his car she’d destroyed.

Frick.

It belonged to someone else. Someone whose dark emerald eyes, fierce stare, and sexy smirk left her breathless and quaking in more than just fear.

In hindsight, maybe taking a metal bat to a shiny new car in the middle of the street was…not the wisest thing to do.

Not when it brought her face to face with a vampire. One who thirsted for more than just her blood…

Dive into this sexy, sassy, funny as sin vampire romance about a case of mistaken identity that leads to the love of a lifetime.

Love Bitten is a full-length stand-alone with a delicious HEA and plenty of steam along the way.

God, I could barely get 20% into this book before I had to DNF it. This heroine, no. Just no. She knows for a fact that her fiance cheated on her. She destroys "his" car in retaliation...but apparently still wanted to be with him??!!! Here is how I came to this conclusion:

☠ We never see her calling her fiance and telling him to pack his shit and get gone.

☠ Instead we get this: “O-of course,” she said quickly and pushed the thoughts of Max and why he still hadn’t called her out of her mind.

☠ Who the f*ck cares if he didn't call you? HE CHEATED ON YOU!!!!

☠ Then we get this too: “Are you kidding me? We’re supposed to be planning our life together, not taking a break.”

☠ Again I say: HE F*CKING CHEATED ON YOU! YOU SHOULD BE KICKING HIS ASS TO THE CURB! WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU??!!?

Nor did I really have much interest in the hero. Who writes a beta vampire? Because, that's exactly what he seemed like to me. And he blurts out to her that he's a vampire so she trusts him? Oh, that's a good move. This was what he said to himself, which is why he told her he was a vampire: But he didn’t want to lose her more.

First, "lose her more"? How does that even make sense? Second, you don't have her and you just want to screw her and leave her. So yeah, grammar issues. And that wasn't the first grammatical error. There was one way more obvious: “Them,” Julius pointed to the collection of people behind the bar. “Does they work for you?”

Anyway, no thanks. Better books to read. Better vampire books.

DNF At 30%

There's something about this book that's just rubbing me the wrong way. I disliked how the heroine resorted to committing a crime (defiling someone's car) after she found out her fiancé was cheating on her thinking the car she was messing with was her fiancé's car. The cheater can go die in a ditch for all I care. On the other hand, I can't get behind ruining someone's car because of that. Firstly, it's a crime. Secondly, cars are darned expensive to fix. The more high-end the worse it is. You can't count on the owner liking you and not suing you for damages especially after being caught red-handed *face palm*. If you're going to commit a crime, at least be smart about it.

I usually don't mind clichés but the I-can't-resist-her-even-though-she-ruined-my-car vibe the hero had going on was just...no. When done well I have no problem with the instant lust/love thing between main characters. This one just isn't working for me.

I adored this paranormal romance, it had a different spin than you normally see, but I was totally behind it! Erica happens to find her fiance cheating on her (or thinks so) and goes into a real Carrie Underwood rage and decides to destroy his car. Funny enough though it is not HIS car that she defaces, it happens to belong to Lucius, who turns out to be a royal vampire, but that is a little hush hush. Lets just say that this makes Lucius pretty irate, but his little conman turns out to be more than he could ever hope for!

All in all this book was great. I really enjoyed reading it and liked how the story was spun with dealing with the romance and paranormal. I thought it was funny but also really hot when the time was needed. There is a lot going on, but it did not feel that way. If you are looking for a new take at paranormal romances, I would totally recommend this book- 4 outta 5 stars from me!

PS: Thank you to Sabrina Rose and Give Me Books PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

A quick refreshing spin involving a vampire and a human. A mistaken identity brings two souls to their very own HEA. Erica figured out her fiance isn't exactly who or what she thinks he is. Her first encounter with Julius is nothing short of a huge adrenaline rush. There are a few things that left me scratching my head, but as I stated earlier this is refreshing little spin on the whole vampire human interaction. If you want to find out just how these two love birds find each other then please get yourself a copy of this book, curl up in your couch, and enjoy this cute and a bit steamy story.

He's Vampire. She's human. He thirsts for more than just her blood...
ERICA
It was official. Karma had a vendetta against her.
The latest? Two scantily clad women were making their way up to her fiance's office in the middle of the night. On their anniversary.
If karma was too stubborn to do anything about it, she'd take matters into her own hands. And her revenge came in the form of a metal bat against her fiance's shiny new car.
Only, karma was plotting against her. It wasn't his car that she'd smashed into oblivion. It belonged to someone else. Someone whose dark emerald green eyes, livid face, and fierce stare left her breathless and quaking from more than just fear.
JULIUS
She should have come issued with a warning. Danger. Caution. Something.
Hell, he even missed the red flag when she'd smashed his car to pieces. But the way she gripped the rod between her fingers had him imagining her fingers digging into him while he drank her blood and pounded her into the sheets.
And the way her doe innocent eyes widened and full pouty lips gasped like she could read every filthy thought in his mind, only revved the beast inside of him.

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

An outstanding love story

My God, I loved every single letter and punctuation in this book. I read it from start to finish in one day, carrying my iPad through the house when I had to move. I grinned so many times. The action scenes were fantastically written, the love scenes were tastefully hot, the relationship was organic even with the well-written paranormal rush, the family had personality without overshadowing the main players, the settings were described just enough that I could fill in the rest without being inundated with descriptions...I could literally go on and on. Everything flowed beautifully, and I’m genuinely sad it’s over. I might even read this one again some day, and that’s not something I do. Julius was amazing in every possible way. I ADORED that he had trouble with human sayings. Erica was incredibly well-rounded, and I loved seeing her grow into her own by the end. Their selfless heroism for each other was lovely to read as well. And! There were some fresh takes on the worlds of vamps/shifters/etc, too, which were so interesting to me. There were a few continuity errors and what looked like some copy/paste flubs, but nothing I couldn’t get past. I just freaking loved this story, y’all, in case that wasn’t obvious. So glad I took a chance on it.

If you love stories about doting vampires and the humans that make them whole this is DEFINITELY a book you need to read. Ten stars. All. Day. Long.

Love Bitten by Sabrina C. Rose was a hidden gem of a book. Firstly, it was a paranormal romance (which I love), with steamy scenes and some hilarious moments. The story focuses on Erica, a woman who has just found out that her fiancé is cheating, so she does what any self-respecting woman would do, grabs her girlfriends finds his car and smashes it up…. only it’s not his car that she smashes up! Here in lies the hilariousness of the problem when she finds out that she has not only smashed up the car of the smoking hot Julius, but that Julius is also a vampire and has set his sights on her. From there they try and develop a relationship but it seems that a lot of things are trying to get in their way.

This was a really enjoyable read. It had really great characters (you especially wanted to give Erica’s parents a slap!). there is definitely some tension between the two main characters and the authors take on the vampire myth was really enjoyable. There are a few twists and turns in this story which keep you enthralled with just a touch of sassiness from all of the characters. If you like easy read, paranormal romance with a splash of comedy then this will be a book for you!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊

I was 75% the way through when I realised that I'd read this book before. I will say that surprised me. Clearly this book hadn't resonated with me the first time and my kindle never advised that I had read it which was weird. Anyway I must have enjoyed it more this time around - well I'm leaving a review. Though there were moments were I found my self going 'Yeah right, because that would happen.' But I'm thinking that I rather like the fact that these characters were not the super alphas that are able to do everything or were the big boss etc. and the girl just falls at their feet after being so called sassy and able to take care of herself. The relationships in this are rather good and have to be worked on. I loved the honesty conversation between Julius and Erica, and I rather liked the banter between Julius and his brother Evan and later their sister Dani. Though I have to say I'm surprised Erica was ever with Max and I did feel that things involving their scenes seemed awkwardly written like the author didn't really know what to do with that relationship.
I'll admit that I have downloaded the next book as I rather liked Dani. But please do an Evan book.
Worth a read for Julius and Evan.

Erica and her friend decide to see if her fiancé is really working late. They are standing at his office building when two women go into the building. She is so angry and hurt. She and her friend decide to take it out on his car. The only problem with that, it is not his car. They come face to face with the owner of the car, he is furious.
Julius and his brother come across two women destroying his custom made car, he is ready to tear the apart. Then he sees Erica and he wants her for different reasons. He almost goes full vampire in front of them.
Julius will find Erica and they will slowly get closer to each other. There are several issues going on, someone is after Erica will do anything to get her. Her fiancé is trying to get her back and her family is something else

This was a good story, it was nice little get away. I feel as the story was little rushed in places but overall I will read the next book in series.

This book starts with an Interesting, colorful prologue with Julius and Evan texting each other. Erica is getting a ride to her fiancé's office Max with her best friend Marie, who is giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Oops, we'll see massive, huge oops this should be interesting. I can't believe they did that to a car. Julius and Evan have some secrets and hints as they come upon the girls destroying their vehicle. I'm supremely interested in what they keep referring to as the "Alter Realm. "
This gets curious as they toss around terms like wolf shifters, mage and fire serpent, and vampires. Apparently, they are princes and brothers.

This book does jump perspectives from Erica to Julius. Evan is talented very intriguing, with him being telepathic and talking in people's minds. Things get complicated for Erica. I see minor oops and spelling mistakes not far in the book, just a missing word you can't read around and a misspelled character's name.

She gets a rude awakening to his monstrous side if she didn't believe him before; she does know, but what know? This book gets steamy but as full of action and adventure as Erica being hunted. Oh, this book gets better and sexier. Erica and Julius are quite the couple, and I just love them together.

This book was a fantastic vampire romance. I love that the main character Erica was human with no knowledge of the paranormal or supernatural world. I love the Julius was conceited, protective, and insatiable. This book was hot and steamy and filled with action, a little suspense, and a whole bunch of sweet moments to make you swoon. Evan and Dani were great supporting characters, and I can't read more from this author.

This story had a lot of potential to be good, but sort of fell flat. First, it read like a novella, though it's not. The flow was a bit slow and I had a time or two that I thought about quitting. I kept feeling like I had read a story like this before. Maybe it was the other dimension thing, or I'm not sure, but it definitely gave me Déjà vu feelings & not because it's "like" every other vampire book since it's not like every other vampire book. My big gripe, I felt like I was missing a prequel or something that had most of the world building. This book had a very light world building & not enough to feel grounded into the story. The characters were very flat, I really didn't like Erica at all. The fact that the FMC, Erica, couldn't commit to splitting with Max after catching him cheating in the first place was a hard pill to swallow. The MMC, Julius, was a bit easier to like, but not enough to give this a better star rating. Definitely not interested in reading more in this series.

An enjoyable paranormal read. Let me preface this by saying I usually avoid vampire books. However, the blurb to this one jumped right out at me and said read me. Kudos to the author for writing a great blurb. I'm happy to report that the book did not disappoint.

The plot of the book was great. I laughed many times while reading it. I liked the unique take on the storyline. I really liked Erica. She had a backbone, which is important to me. I enjoyed the writing style and the way the author brought me into this new world.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I cannot wait to check this new to me author our and see what other hidden gems she has.

I really enjoyed reading this both as a serial and in completed novel form. It’s quick witted and funny built around a very steamy romance between a vampire Julius from an alt realm and a human Erica an artist. The two meet due to a wonderfully awful mistake and it’s instant lust at first sight. Reading how they grow both together and separately is highly entertaining. A wonderful debut for the author!
I’d say for sure it’s for older audiences 17+ just due to the high steam factor and some highly graphic fight scenes. But overall a greatly enjoyed book that I could not put down!
I received an ARC from the author. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review.

A fresh new take on some steamy PNR Love Bitten was a fun action filled read right from the beginning. A case of mistaken identity of a car quickly turns into a full blown adventure in this one! Erica and Julius go from enemies to lovers with enough chemistry and heat to have you reaching for a fan and a cold drink.
While the sparks are definitely flying with these two and tensions certainly run high at times there’s an undercurrent of sweetness between them that really brings a nice level of swoon to their story. Between the romance, some twists and turns that make your jaw hit the floor and a dash of edge of your seat action I really loved almost everything about this book.

Wow is all I can muster!!!! This book was fantastic from the start. Erika was done being a door mat for her fiance, well ex. She and her best friend vandalize the wrong car, but just as Erika thinks that karma is out to get her, Julius shows her a different world. One that she is loved, cherished and valued about all else. They discover the bond that brings them together and realize that they can not be without each other. When all hell breaks loose due to her ex, they find a way through it and end up in the bliss of being mates....You can not put this book down once you start reading.

I did not expect to laugh so much reading this book! Erica has me rolling from the first time we see her taking out what she thinks is her fiancé’s car. Hahaha! Unfortunately for her that’s when she meets Julius.

Julius can’t believe what he is seeing and loses his mind. His brother holds him back thankfully but he has Erica’s entice scent memorized. Luckily for him he comes across her again in a nightclub and his whole world changes with that moment.

His world and Erica’s aren’t the same. She has no idea that things go bump in the night. Sacrifices will have to be made in order for them to be together.

I’m already hooked on this series and ready for the next!

Solid 3.5 stars

This story is a new mythology around Vampires, Shifters and Humans and that alone was very intriguing. The idea that they come from different realms instead of just being different species was an interesting take.

It's hard not to fall for Julius. He's quite lovely, all the way around. Erica is relatable and sympathetic, and they feel like a good pairing. I was left with some questions about Max (he flip flopped his attitude so completely I was left wondering which was the real him) and am very curious about the rest of the royal family.

A decent paranormal read if you're looking for a new series!

I have been needing a paranormal romance that would pull me in immediately and Love Bitten did exactly that. I loved Julius and Erica's story. The build up, the sexual tension,  the bits of action and did I mention the sexual tension?

I loved the secondary characters as well. They didn't take away from the storyline like some tend to do, the added to it and was well balanced. I can't wait to read more about them in future books.

Love Bitten is a book I can definitely recommend to have on your TBR lists!

Paranormal books help me escape reality and this book fit the bill, though it had a lot of potential to be better. There were many parts of the book that should have been elaborated on and it ended too soon. I wish the author dived deeper and got more details in. That’s something I rarely say! The storyline felt so surface level when there was plenty of room to expand its depth. Even the characters’ conversations seemed rushed and frivolous. I am hoping the next book is better. For what it’s worth, there isn’t anything wrong with this book. It’s a good beach read but it had potential to be more.

I’ve recently been on a paranormal reading kick and I came across the Love Bitten by Sabrina C. Rose and having not read her before I took a chance on this vampire/human romance.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the plot, characters and found myself engrossed in the book. It was a light read witty not too much drama while for me was great. The authors writing style was engaging and kept my attention.

So, if you like reading vampire romances that is packed with sassiness and comedy then this is the book for you.

I really enjoyed "love bitten". the 2 main characters grabbed my interest right away and the ending was great. for those who have read it, during the epilogue (no spoilers here) it was perfect with the music that came on right then was "i promise" from when in rome, very fitting. i would have given the book 5 stars but it does have a couple of explicit sex scenes and that's just not something i always want to have in a book. with that said, solid 4 stars from me and i can't wait the couple weeks til the 2nd book.

Erica and Julius

This wasn't as light hearted as I anticipated, but it was a great read. Erica is a bartender and artist who is dating a wolf shifter unbeknownst to her. He is also a cheating jerk. Julius is a vampire Prince who has come to the human realm with his brother Evan to procure ventures that will give them cash flow to produce the expensive synth blood for their kingdom. The two meet under funny yet destructive circumstances. Lots of chemistry. This is a standalone, no cliffhangers. I wish there was more of an epilogue, but enjoyed all the same.

Overall this is a really good book. It is a little bit of a new take on the paranormal world. The well-developed world and characters with suspense and action. I found the character both the main and secondary engaging, with some very funny moments as well as steam scenes. There were some editing was needed and little spots of weakness, such as Erica going back and forth with Max or Julius acting like a sullen adolescent. However, those moments do not take away from the overall enjoyment of the story. Love Game Book 2

Love Bitten
3.5 stars for Love Bitten by Sabrina C. Rose. This is book one in the Vampire Blood Royals series. This is my first book from this author, and I am looking forward to reading more of her books. Erica, Oh Erica- I just love her character. I mean who hasn’t wanted to take a bat to a cheating boyfriend’s car ? Love this ! Only problem, Erica got the wrong car. Julius instantly wants her, but all of Vampire kind life’s rest on his shoulders. Then shifters come into play. I was enamoured with this story . It was fast paced , a new take on a vampire romance.

This was a pretty good book to read. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but was interesting enough. I did appreciate the excitement and violence. Was hoping either for a story that was much darker or for it to go the opposite way with plenty of humor but this one seemed to meet somewhere in the middle. I really liked Julius's character but I had mixed feelings about Erica.

Amazon recommended it so I took a chance and I'm glad I did! If I'd had more time I would have finished it in a day. Loved the characters and looking foward to reading stories about the other characters. Sabrina is really creating a whole world to be explored. I thought it was a solid love story, with a lot of great action scenes and story that promised to lead to more.
Looking forward to more books by Sabrina C Rose!

Pleasure

This had a new take and new character type than most fantasy characters I have heard of. I loved the love/hate relationship. A weird tweak to Romeo & Juliette with a twist of adult romance added in. There were errors to grammar which usually seriously bother me, but not in this book. It was really good. Would read again. Only disappointed book 2 isn’t ready yet since I have a taste of the authors style and want to see this story unfold!
