South Korean President Moon Jae-in will be hosting the biggest diplomatic event of his term when he welcomes South-east Asian leaders to his hometown Busan today.

The Asean-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit will serve as a "midterm review" of the Moon administration's New Southern Policy aimed at upgrading ties with the regional grouping, and pave the way for further cooperation.
