THE GREEN HEAT NETWORK FUND

The Green Heat Network Fund (GHNF) is a three-year, £288m capital grant fund that will open to applicants on the 14th of March 2022. It will provide support to organisations in the public, private, and third sectors in England. The GHNF builds on the progress and development made by the Heat Network Investment Project (HNIP) and the £10m Green Heat Network Fund Transition Scheme that opened in July 2021.

Supporting the development of low and zero carbon (LZC) heat (and cooling) networks, the GHNF is a core element of the Government’s Heat Network Transformation Programme (HNTP). With the aim to continue to develop and grow the heat network market the GHNF also looks to address some of the challenges of decarbonising the UK’s heat sector.

THE WORKSHOPS

Time: 11.00 till 12.00 each week.

This is a series of five, weekly GHNF Stakeholder Workshops that will feature a different 15-minute presentation each week. The fifth and final workshop will cover the following topics:

• 12/04/22 – Shared Ground Loops and Aggregation of Systems

OPEN Q&A SESSION

Each session will also have around 45 minutes of open Q&A. The questions and answers discussed will be logged and compiled into a document for use by GHNF applicants and their supply chain partners.

EVENT ACCESS

An MS Teams link will be sent to registered attendees in the Eventbrite confirmation email. This link will provide access to each of the weekly events.
