About this event

This workshop with artist Fiona Keenan O'Brien aims to provide a safe and creative space to investigate movement, dance and spoken word. It will allow participants the freedom to find their own creative language as a distinct artist while engaging in group ensemble techniques. Come and take part in a supportive space where you can explore your own creativity and reflect on your creative practice with young people!

This event will also feature an interactive session on LGBTQI+ awareness, inclusion and creating safe spaces with Barry McSkeane, National Network Co-ordinator at BeLonG To Youth Service.

All Cavan Monaghan Youth Arts Hub events are open to youth workers, youth arts practitioners and artists working with young people in youth work / arts / non-formal education settings in the counties. It's a great opportunity for youth workers to develop their creative practice and for artists to develop their practice with young people. It's also a great space to network and build your contacts within the youth arts community!
