LA Celebrity Hangout The Nice Guy Expanding to Aspen

It’s a loungy celebrity friendly restaurant

The Nice Guy

Nightlife wizards John Terzian and Brian Toll of the h.wood Group recently announced plans to open a second location of their Goodfellas-inspired restaurant, The Nice Guy, in the glamorous mountain town, Aspen. It’s still unclear exactly where or when the new Nice Guy will open its famously strict door in Pitkin County.

The first Nice Guy opened in Los Angeles in 2014, quickly attracting Kardashians and Baldwins alike with its no-photos and reservations-only policies. After starting with limited offerings from the kitchen, the hot spot now serves a wide-range of Italian-inspired dishes, including chicken marsala and pasta primavera, as well as a hodgepodge of upscale crowd-pleasers (truffle fries, bacon-wrapped dates, Scottish salmon, etc.).

Terzian and Toll have opened a string of successful clubs, music venues and restaurants across the country in recent years, including SHOREbar, Bootsy Bellows, The Peppermint Club and Blind Dragon in LA alone. The second Nice Guy won’t be the duo’s first foray into Aspen either. They opened a “lounge version” of their LA club, Bootsy Bellows in December 2013.
