Join the Norwich Undergraduate Surgical Society for their Biennial National Undergraduate Conference: Dissecting the World of Surgery. The day will be packed with inspiring talks from esteemed keynote speakers and practical hands-on workshops. This is an exceptional opportunity for those considering a career in surgery or exploring their options to network with surgeons from various specialties.

This event aims to encourage the next generation of medical students to consider a career in surgery and promote early, positive surgical exposure. We hope this event will help break down any barriers to accessing and pursuing a career in surgery, and ultimately contribute to broadening and diversifying the surgical community. 

We would like to welcome medical students to present their research via oral presentations and poster presentations. Please fill out the form below to submit your poster/ oral presentation abstracts.These will be reviewed and validated by our expert panel following the submission deadline. 

Abstract submissions open Wednesday 14th February 2024 and close Monday 4th March 2024. 

The authors of accepted abstracts will receive an email. Those whose abstracts are chosen must register to attend the conference and will be asked to present their work for the chance to win prizes. The winners will also be awarded with a certificate.
