Financial support for doctors and their families

We bring together five independent charities that can provide financial support for doctors when they need confidential financial assistance. These benevolent funds provide vital support to help doctors in genuine financial need get their lives and careers back on track.

Which charities can help me?

How it works

Our simple questionnaire will shortlist the right charity (or charities) for you and let you access the help you need.  Each fund has its own eligibility criteria and all offer varied types of financial assistance.

Whether you are retired, of working age, or a dependant of a doctor, your circumstances are unique and as such any financial help given is tailored to help in the best possible way.  In 2016 the five charities supported doctors, and their dependent families, with charitable grants and loans totalling over £1.3 million.

Dr C has not been well enough to work as a GP for some time and her only income at present is from state benefits. When her boiler stopped working, she and her daughter survived without hot water and heating for many, many months before she applied to two of our charities for financial help. One agreed to help with the cost of the repairs, while the other topped up her income with a monthly grant.

I just wanted to say how grateful we are for your generosity over the last few months. It has made a real difference to our standard of living
