About us

We are the English Golf Union Limited (company no. 5564018) with registered office at The National Golf Centre, The Broadway, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6PU, trading as England Golf. We are the national governing body for amateur golf in England.

Introduction

The “iGolf Voucher” offers a 12 month subscription to iGolf, England Golf’s digital community.  iGolf is a way for golfers who are not members of golf clubs affiliated to England Golf to obtain a Handicap Index® under the World Handicap System™ (WHS™ ).  An iGolf voucher can only be used to purchase a new subscription for iGolf and cannot be used to pay for the renewal of a subscription. An iGolf Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any iGolf promotional offers or discounts when joining.

The “iGolf Voucher” is issued by England Golf and is subject to these Terms and Conditions.  If there is anything you do not understand, please contact igolf@englandgolf.org

iGolf Vouchers are issued by and remain the property of England Golf.  We do not authorise anyone else to sell or make any commercial use of iGolf vouchers (including in relation to any promotional commercial activity).  iGolf vouchers can only be obtained from www.englandigolf.co.uk

iGolf Voucher Details

The iGolf Voucher is available to purchase online from www.englandigolf.co.uk and costs the price of an annual iGolf subscription.  Payment can only be made by credit or debit card and we do not accept payment by instalments.

The recipient of an iGolf Voucher can sign up online at www.englandigolf.co.uk for iGolf for £0.00 by utilising the code provided on the voucher.  Recipients who receive an iGolf Voucher will need to adhere to the iGolf Joining Terms & Conditions see https://members.whsplatform.englandgolf.org/igolf-terms-and-conditions which detail eligibility for iGolf and other important information.

An iGolf Voucher has a one year expiry period and must be redeemed within the time-period.  The expiry period runs from the date the iGolf Voucher was purchased, dates inclusive, for a period of one calendar year. For example, if you purchase an iGolf Voucher on 1 November 2021, it will expire at 11:59PM on 31 October 2022.

The iGolf Voucher will not be personalised, meaning a Recipient’s name will not be displayed on the Voucher.  We will assume that the person who uses the Voucher at any time is the rightful user of the Voucher.

How to use (Purchaser)

Having purchased an iGolf Voucher, a Purchaser can download a PDF of the voucher from the payment confirmation page at time of purchase at www.englandigolf.co.uk or can save a PDF of the voucher which will be sent via email.  The PDF of the voucher can then be emailed onto the recipient or printed out as required by the Purchaser.

The email address the voucher is sent to, will be the email address inputted by the Purchaser at the time of purchasing on the iGolf website www.englandigolf.co.uk

If the iGolf Voucher is not received via email, the Purchaser is asked to contact igolf@englandgolf.org  England Golf can take no responsibility for incorrect email addresses being inputted upon purchasing.

An iGolf Voucher is valid for a period of one year and is available for use immediately on the date of purchase.

For information on your statutory rights to a refund, please see ‘Cancellations and Refunds’ below.

How to use (Recipient)

To redeem an iGolf Voucher, a Recipient will need to go to www.englandigolf.co.uk and click on ‘JOIN NOW’. The Recipient should input their iGolf Voucher Code under the ‘Payment Details’ section of the online sign up form.

An iGolf Voucher can only be used once.

An iGolf voucher can only be used to purchase a new subscription for iGolf and cannot be used to pay for the renewal of a subscription. An iGolf Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any iGolf promotional offers or discounts when joining. There are no cash or other alternatives, and no refunds are available. This does not affect the statutory rights of the Purchaser.

It is the responsibility of the Recipient to view all information on iGolf and what a subscription offers and the processes involved prior to redeeming their iGolf Voucher and becoming an iGolf Subscriber.

Recipients of an iGolf Voucher will need to adhere to the iGolf Joining Terms & Conditions see https://members.whsplatform.englandgolf.org/igolf-terms-and-conditions which detail eligibility for iGolf and other important information.  It is the responsibility of the Recipient to ensure they are eligible to subscribe to iGolf.

Once successfully signed up to iGolf, the Recipient will receive a Welcome Email, detailing their unique membership number along with further details on their iGolf subscription.

iGolf operates an auto-renewal process whereby payment is automatically taken from the billing card on the Subscribers account.  If an iGolf Voucher was redeemed for payment of your subscription, you will be asked to add a billing card to your account in advance of your subscription renewal date.  This billing card will then be utilised for future auto-renewals.

Details on what is required will be included within the renewal notification emails with further details on the renewal and cancellation process available within the iGolf Terms & Conditions at www.englandigolf.co.uk

Lost/ Stolen/ Damaged

The Purchaser and subsequently the Recipient is solely responsible for the safe keeping and security of an iGolf Voucher.  In cases where an iGolf Voucher is lost or stolen, England Golf cannot be held responsible for any subscription lost as a result of theft.  All iGolf Vouchers have a unique voucher code which is required for the purchase of an online subscription. England Golf cannot be held responsible for any unauthorised use where the iGolf voucher code has become known to another party.

If a Recipient misplaces their iGolf voucher code, it is their responsibility to contact the Purchaser in the first instance to request that this is re-sent to them.  If the Purchaser is unable to provide this to the Recipient, it is asked that the Purchaser contacts England Golf direct at igolf@englandgolf.org to request that the voucher be re-sent via email to them, which they can then pass onto the Recipient.  To request an iGolf Voucher to be re-sent, the Purchaser will need to provide their name, email address and order number.

Expiry

If, at anytime an iGolf voucher is not redeemed by the Recipient within a period of one year as per the redemption period on the voucher, the iGolf Voucher will cease to be valid.  Expired iGolf Vouchers cannot be transferred to a new iGolf Voucher or redeemed.  Redemption periods are non-extendable, and an iGolf Voucher cannot be utilised once it has ceased to be valid.

Cancellation and Refunds

Once purchased an iGolf Voucher cannot be cancelled or refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights, and the Purchaser has the right to a 28 day cooling off period following their purchase.

To request a refund within this cooling off period, the Purchaser is required to email igolf@englandgolf.org providing their name, order number and voucher code.  The iGolf Voucher will be voided.  If the iGolf Voucher has been redeemed within the 28 day cooling off period, the Purchaser will not be eligible to a refund.

Data Protection and Privacy

When purchasing an iGolf Voucher, the purchaser will be asked for their name, email address and whether or not they are a current iGolf subscriber, golf club member or neither.

This information and the ‘Order Number’ will link the iGolf Voucher to the Purchaser.

The Purchaser’s personal data will be processed solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://www.englandgolf.org/privacy-policy/

You will be asked to enter payment details online. Your card payment details are sent to a third-party merchant services provider, Windcave. Details of how they process payment data can be found here  https://sec.windcave.com/pxmi3/privacy-policy
