Processo de avaliação / Evaluation process

A avaliação assentará na entrega de dois comentários escritos. Cada um valerá 50% da nota e não deverá exceder 2000 palavras.

The evaluation will be based in two article reviews written by students. Each review should not exceed 2000 words and counts for 50% of the final grade.

Processo de ensino-aprendizagem / Teaching and learning process

O método de ensino-aprendizagem desta UC assenta num conjunto de aulas teóricas e teórico-práticas sobre os diversos pontos do programa. Nas aulas o docente faz uma apresentação inicial dos conteúdos programáticos, recorrendo por vezes à utilização de documentos e fontes primárias. Também durante as aulas, todos os alunos farão uma apresentação oral sobre um dos items indicados na bibliografia. No final do semestre os estudantes entregarão também um comentário escrito a esse mesmo item.

The method of teaching and learning of this course is based on a set of lectures about the various aspects of the program. In class the teacher makes an initial presentation of the topics of the syllabus, sometimes resorting to the use of documents and primary sources. Also during class, all students will make an oral presentation on one of the items listed in the bibliography. At the end of the semester students should also deliver a written comment on that same item.

Demonstração da coerência das metodologias de ensino com os objectivos de aprendizagem da UC / Demostration of coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes

O método de ensino-aprendizagem desta unidade curricular assenta num conjunto de aulas teóricas e teórico-práticas sobre os diversos pontos do programa, permitindo assim que se alcancem os OA1 a OA4 e os AC 1 e 4. Nas aulas, o docente faz uma apresentação inicial dos conteúdos programáticos, recorrendo à utilização de bibliografia actualizado, bases de dados, recursos electrónicos, alcançando o AC3. Também durante as aulas, todos os alunos farão uma apresentação oral sobre um dos items indicados na bibliografia. No final do semestre os estudantes entregarão um comentário escrito a esse mesmo item. Estas duas últimas metodologias permitirão aos alunos alcançar o AC2.

The method of teaching and learning of this course is based on a set of lectures about the various aspects of the program, thus enabling the students to reach the LO1 to LO4 and SC1 and 4. In class the professor makes an initial presentation of the topics of the syllabus, sometimes resorting to the use of bibliographical repertoires, archival inventories, e-references, reaching SC3. Also during class, all students will make an oral presentation on one of the books listed in the bibliography. At the end of the semester students should also deliver a written comment on that same book. These two methods will enable students to reach SC2.
