Honoring the Legacy of Lillian McDermott
Dear friends and colleagues,

You are cordially invited to attend a one-day event honoring Lillian's legacy on Wednesday January 18 at UW in Seattle.

Lillian opened new frontiers in the learning and teaching of physics – expanding our collective vision of what can and should be done. Lillian challenged us, pushed us, encouraged us, and made us laugh and cry.  We hope you will join us on Wednesday, January 18, at the University of Washington in Seattle to celebrate and honor Lillian together.

This full day event will be welcoming and warm, informal and interactive. The schedule includes talks in the morning and afternoon, followed by a reception and dinner.  Speakers include Steve Pollock, MacKenzie Stetzer, Lana Ivanjek, Chandralekha Singh, Paul van Kampen, Marisa Michelini, David Meltzer and Greg Francis. Participation via Zoom is possible for speakers and guests. A complete schedule will be posted soon.

To assist us in planning, kindly reply to the questions below by Dec 31st.

Paula Heron, Peter Shaffer, Donna Messina and Andrew Boudreaux
