Introduction
Birmingham City Council has received funding to support adult social care providers as part of the national digitising social care programme

The funding will be used to:
- Enable all CQC registered adult social care providers to adopt a Digital Social Care Record (DSCR) to facilitate a move away from paper-based care planning and support
- Enable care homes to implement sensor-based falls prevention and detection technologies, such as acoustic monitoring
- Explore the use of other Digital Technology (TECS)
West Midlands Care Association (WMCA) is working in association with Birmingham City Council (BCC) and we would appreciate your completion of the following survey to enable us to establish a local baseline to plan how to distribute this funding over the next 3 years.
