Dirac and BlackBerry QNX collaborating to improve the audio performance in the vehicles

Dirac and BlackBerry QNX are working to maximize performance in car cabins. Dirac is a software development company with a location in Sweden. The two companies will integrate the Dirac Opteo Professional solution and the QNX Audios Management Platform, an audio solution which makes up BlackBerry's QNX. The partnership will allow the automakers to "re-assemble".

Dirac and BlackBerry QNX are working together to improve sound performance in auto cabins.

Dirac is a software development firm based in Sweden. The two companies will integrate the Dirac Opteo Professional solution to QNX Acoustics Management Platform, an audio solution comprised of BlackBerry QNX.

This partnership will help automakers perform digital sound system upgrades in high-end vehicles, and suit statewide, said Lars Carlsson, vice-président and director of business development automotive audio.

High-quality audio can be challenging to perfection by many axes. However, with the new QNX-enabled reverberator, manufacturers can quickly and easily upgrade vehicles’ sound systems with better performance, said Carlsson.

In a press release, the companies say they have started implementing a high-end electric vehicle with a manufacturer of a leading European manufacturer, but didn’t provide specifics.
