Target audience

This Global Neuro webinar has been developed for nurses dedicated to the integral management of Neurotrauma, as well as complex and interdisciplinary patient care.

Languages
English

This webinar will use a blend of case study presentations and best practice statements and invite Neuroscience Nurses from across the UK and Ireland to join and share practices and discuss the current evidence that supports the clinical decisions nurses make.

The Webinar will be interactive, it will be facilitated by members of the British Association of Neuroscience Nurses (BANN) and you will be able to answer polls about the next step to be taken and ask questions.

The BANN benchmark statements will be used to identify areas of practice that relate to the Management of Behaviour and Cognitive Impairment. We then invite attendees to reflect on their own practice and discuss variations in practice. The evidence base for the statements will also be presented, with areas of low evidence base discussed. By the end of the webinar attendees will be able to reflect on their own practice, gain an enhanced understanding of the rationales behind care decisions and enhance their care delivery.

Recommended reading material is provided in advance to enhance the interactive learning experience.
