Fund Luke Clerkin's Debut Album

Hi, my name is Luke Clerkin, and I am a singer songwriter and mental health advocate from Tallaght in Dublin. I started playing music as a way of dealing with my mental health struggles and I now use my own songs to help others to deal with their own struggles. I have been on this whirlwind journey for over nine years now playing my songs to anybody who will listen. This journey has taken me from playing in small pubs in Dublin with a handful of people to playing sold out shows and festivals all over the world, all whilst remaining a totally independent musician.

I have just finished recording what will become my debut album, 'Orpheus', a collection of songs that I feel truly represent my journey so far. Anybody who knows me, anybody has seen me play live or anybody who has listened to my recordings will tell you that I put everything into my music, and this is the same for this project. 'Orpheus' consists of some of the most honest and personal songs I have ever written, and it even features performances where I actually cried while I was recording. Gavin Doyle (my producer & close friend) and I started work on the songs in early summer 2023 and they're finally shaping up to be what we imagined them to be.

SO why am I telling you all of this ??

In order for me to be able to serve these songs and these recordings in the way that they deserve, I need to be able to raise enough money to pay towards mixing and mastering, public relations, music videos and photography, as well as any other costs that may arise.

This is where you come in!

Unfortunately as an independent musician, I do not have the backing of a major record label or management company, so I have to try to find alternative ways of funding these kinds of projects. BUT with your support, I will be able to continue this mad journey, and I will be able to bring these songs to audiences and listeners on a much wider scale. So I am asking for you to share whatever you can afford to help me bring 'Orpheus' to life for all the world to see.
