My Story

Four of us, Sarah, Alex, Podge and Adam are running the Great North Run 2023 to raise vital funds for the children's appeal at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. 

The funds will help improve the experience of all children and families whilst in hospital and contribute towards creating some peaceful, calm, relaxing space and/or equipment for children and young people with mental health and psychological difficulties whilst in hospital. 

We would like to improve the experience for children and their families during what is ordinarily a very distressing time.
