our focus is upon building relationships, connecting communities and providing quality care as unique as the people we support.
We have an opportunity available at Open Door based in Stockport! We’re seeking to recruit a team leader who is able to encourage a values based culture and ensure high quality care and support. Working in partnership with Stockport CCG and Mental Health Matters, Making Space have launched a 24 hour Mental Health Service within Stockport. The people of Stockport are now able to access fast mental health and wellbeing support tailored to their own unique needs. The service is open from 10am – 8pm (Mon-Fri) and 12pm – 8pm (Sat & Sun).

The Role:
To deputise for the service manager, and to help lead the delivery of an effective, safe and therapeutic safe haven service in Stockport for people at risk of/experiencing a mental health crisis and their families/carers. You lead on the screening, triage and initial assessment and risk assessment process and work closely with key partners to ensure the most appropriate response and service pathway.
You will need to have previous experience of supervising staff, will be qualified to level 3 in Health and Social care (or equivalent) and will be qualified to level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent /willing to work towards).
Beyond your qualifications and experience, we are looking for candidates who share our company values, and who truly want to make a positive impact on the lives of the adults we support.
