Business and Administration Apprentice – Level 3 - Coordinated Admissions

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Role Responsibility

Fixed Term - 18 Months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Education and Young People's Service - Coordinated Admissions - Fair Access department. This is a chance to gain a Level 3 qualification in Business & Administration as an apprentice in a fast-paced environment, ensuring children and young people of statutory school age are in receipt of an education, whilst working for a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation. A Kent County Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn a real salary and gain a real qualification whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.

You will work closely with the County Coordinated Admissions Manager and the School Admissions teams to help run the coordinated admission processes for Primary, Junior, and Secondary transfer. You will also be working on special projects to increase the knowledge base of schools and wider teams. We are currently based out of Invicta House with a hybrid approach to working including working from home at times.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is highly motivated, keen to learn quickly and who can execute tasks with accuracy. You would have a passion for data, an enquiring mind and excellent communication skills. The post is usually office based but if you have not worked in an office before that is not a problem as we will provide you with experiences in a wide range of administrative roles, linking in with the apprenticeship qualification and an introduction into project management.

If this sounds like you, then we would like to encourage you to apply.
