about

I wrote the song about my journey with mental health, in the hope that it can inspire and help someone who needs some help right now.

lyrics

Here's a message to check up on someones mental health,

To every friend of mine that's picked me up each time I fell,

When I was younger I was so unaware about myself,

So f*****g angry, never thinking about noone else.

It took me years to say it, f**k it like I'm not okay,

To breaking down inside the kitchen on a lonely day,

My mama raised me well, I'm grateful for my fathers love,

Sometimes my body tries to tell me that I'm not enough.

I always work so hard in every single thing I do,

So many years I dedicate to what I want to prove,

It's the pursuit of your best life and it'll always,

Just remember you can always stop and talk to me.

Nobody knows, like I do

The more I listen to myself I find it easier,

It's near impossible these days to think so linear,

Mentally I look how far I've come here in this life of mine,

Cherishing the present life, opening these wide eyes.

I'm not stressed about the places that I want to be,

Just hope my music can help out somebody else like me,

Just keep on listening and talking to your closest five,

Even with your tired eyes, you can be the brightest light.

Nobody knows, like I do

I wish I knew when I was seventeen so long ago,

I used to think that talking up was so impossible,

I grew so distant from myself I didn't realise,

Too many men these days are going out from suicide.

You know me know now I'll always talk about the way I feel,

I count myself so lucky everyday I've got a meal

Surround yourself with positivity in every way,

I've some people that care and man I feel the same.

I love my people and my family importantly,

I love myself I never skip an opportunity,

To open up a conversation on mentality,

Talk to your friend don't let there be another casualty.
