SUGI projects

A total of 88 proposals were successfully submitted in the first evaluation phase and from these a total of 40 proposals were invited for the full proposal stage. In November 2017 these proposals were assessed by an expert panel. Information about the selected projects will be published on the JPI Urban Europe and Belmont Forum web sites and in other channels at the end of January 2018. The Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative (SUGI)/Food-Water-Energy Nexus projects will start during the first half of 2018.

About Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative (SUGI)/Food-Water-Energy Nexus
The Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative (SUGI)/Food-Water-Energy Nexus is a call jointly established by the Belmont Forum and the Joint Programming Initiative Urban Europe. The cooperation was established in order to bring together the fragmented research and expertise across the globe to find innovative new solutions to the Food-Water-Energy Nexus challenge.
