What is higher education?

Higher education is the next level of study after sixth form or college. It allows someone to continue their studies in an area of interest in more depth. There are lots of options with higher education including the institution, type of qualification and course. Studying an undergraduate degree at university is often the most popular form of higher education for school leavers.
