EMERGE programme returns; starting 5 February

Following a successful pilot, World Heart Beat Music Academy are delighted to be running a second season of EMERGE, our FREE flagship music industry training programme aimed at helping young people develop sustainable careers in music.

The season kicks off on Sunday 5 Feb with our taster evening, featuring live performances, workshops, panel discussions and delicious food.

EMERGE offers young people aged 16-25 the opportunity to develop a sustainable career in music by offering free training and masterclasses covering topics like music production, working as an independent artist and building your community.

Sessions are run by professional artists and producers; last season EMERGE welcomed Eerf Evil, Jas Kayser, Kali Claire and BINA, among others.

This season participants will be able to access:

·       8 masterclasses run by professional artists – *full list coming soon!* (Thursday evenings)

·       Music production sessions (Wednesday evenings)

·       Singing and songwriting tuition (Thursday evenings)

·       1-1 career focused mentoring and coaching

·       The opportunity to access paid work experience in the industry

All sessions are free to attend and young people do not have to sign up for the whole course.

Where: World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens, 3 Ponton Road SW11 7BD. If there is demand, we may be able to run some sessions in your school, college or youth setting.

When: Sessions start on the 6 Feb 2023.
