I have be speaking prophetically about a massive fast across the body of christ. I just ran into your sermon and literally watched the whole thing. I am a young minister in NC that love Christ and I’m on board. This is definitely what I heard the Lord say and this is confirmation that you have indeed heard from God.

Most people do not know that the last awakening did NOT start at Azusa Street, but it started TEN YEARS before then in Murphy, North Carolina located in Cherokee County. Even before then, a group in Tennessee were praying for an awakening to happen. It started in a one-room place in Murphy called the Shearer School House, and out of it came about 12 spirit filled denominations, the first and largest one being the Church of God located in Cleveland, Tennessee.

A.J. Tomlinson, one of the evangelists who helped start that movement was praying in an empty field where it all started, and the Lord gave him Psalm 132:6, “We heard it in Ephrathah, we came upon it [the ark/glory of God] in the FIELDS OF JAAR. ‘Jaar’ translated is ‘woods.’ Tomlinson founded the Church of God, which eventually bought the property and built a biblical theme park which is now called FIELD OF THE WOODS. Back then, Tomlinson was praying in that empty ‘field’ and the Lord told him that just as the second great awakening happened here, so would the last.

I am a Native of North Carolina, and I have known AND believed that for 21 years. The Lord told me that I would play a key role in the last awakening. I lived in a different county three hours away, and I would go to Cherokee County for years looking for property so I could fulfill my call. I drove six hours round trip many times during those years just to see trailer after trailer that were so dilapidated that lenders wouldn’t lend on them. In November 2019 I could find no home to buy, but I was able to get an apartment in Murphy.

Then, after SEVEN YEARS of searching, the Lord gave me property 2.5 miles from Fields of the Wood. Until then, my heart broke when I read in the Bible, “Where will you build a house for me?” Because hard as I had tried, I had no house for Him. I am waiting and listening to Yahweh about what He wants to do with that property, build on it, and for Him to provide the resources to develop it for His use.

I took many risks and made many sacrifices to move here, and the Lord gave me incredible visions telling me what the result of my obedience was, and would be. I am still making sacrifices, and the journey is difficult, but I am still on it. No matter what resources I lack to fulfil my call, no matter how weak and insufficient I feel to fulfil the call, and no matter what the incredible hardships I face are, I know I heard His voice and I have NEVER had a doubt that I was called to help usher in the last great awakening. I don’t know exactly how Yahweh will use me, and I wonder how he can with the challenges that make it seem impossible, but it isn’t about me, it is about Him and what is impossible for man is possible for Him. I have to believe that faithful is He who called me, He will also do it!

The story of the awakening that happened here in Cherokee County in 1896 is fascinating. One who is interested in the next awakening, especially one who feels called to be part of it, can’t fully integrate into it without knowing the history and covenant that Yahweh has with this place, and those of us who have a covenant with Him to be His people, and the incredible inheritance we have in Him! I encourage anyone interested, to do some research about the awakening that happened here and the Field of the Woods, Shearer School House, and The First Assembly House; visit them; and pray in the next awakening!

Thank God for those men and women in the ‘ancient’ times who dug the wells of revivals, and thank God for their contemporaries, people like Lou Engle, Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce who are hearing the call to usher in the next awakening; that hear that it will be here in the East – in North Carolina. These mentioned are also the few who are hearing that we First Nations People are key to the next awakening. I am grateful for your sacrifices, please pray for those of us who are making the sacrifices to live here and work as gatekeepers to open the door to the King of Glory!

I gave up religion more than a decade ago. I am a proud Agnostic Atheist. I do believe if you live your life the way Jesus did by practicing love and compassion, you will have a happy life. I do not believe in gods, demons, or deities. I do not believe Jesus is a god, or a son of a god. After all, mankind has worshiped 50,000+ gods since the beginning of time. I am a man of science, mathematics, and letters. I do believe prophets like Jesus have shown love is more important than belief. Compassion is more important than religion. The universe is bigger than any god can imagine. The bible for me is simply a book of fiction, poetry, essays, short stories and full of contradictions. However, none of that matters. It’s how you live your life just like Jesus. He die for his beliefs, and that is why I love him. We are called for love, and love is free. Compassion for LGBTQIA+ people is essential to the love of Jesus. Jesus never once in the gospels mentioned sexuality. Jesus did not care. There are so many different sexualities, and so many orientations that Jesus loved. I wish you the peace of Jesus, and may he continue to guide your heart even when it is not convenient.

Hello about 2 months ago the Lord gave me a vision of a Jewish boy standing at a podium, he was, I believe, giving his barmitzva speech or reading the Torah. The Holy Spirit impressed upon me to pray for the salvation of all of
the Jewish boys and girls going through their bar and bat mitzvah’s. Please join me in prayer for these young Jewish people.

You always stir our hearts to fasting, to encouragement and to pursuing Jesus with our all.
Most of the fasts you have called I have tried to participate in even though I have been pregnant or breastfeeding for most of the past 8 years of my life. Sometimes it was fasting media, sometimes it was fasting sugar or cutting out gluten or something that challenged my bodies cravings and desires, yet still kept me safe and healthy for the babies.
This most recent fast for Israel the Lord lead me to a radical food choice for 40 days. He told me to fast for 40 days on Raw Milk. As the primary food maker in my house this was a challenging fast! His grace was all over it! A week into the fast I was asking him to meld my heart to his people Israel. He highlighted to me that the woman who was sourcing the raw milk to me was a Jew herself and her name was Esther! He said as she is giving you the ability to fast, bless her and her family by praying for them!
It is so incredible to me that he is always showing and guiding us in ALL things. Thank you for stirring our hearts!

Hello, we arent finished with this years fast yet but i just wanted to share that this fast has truly changed the trajectory of my life and my walk with the Lord. Chains have fallen off, my inheritance and identity has been restored and restoration is happening in many areas of my life. Im hearing God more clearly than ever. I am seeing miracles for believers as we come in agreement with the Holy Spirit. Revival is beginning, and its starting with fasting and prayer!!

Thank you for sharing your heart for Israel and for your obedience! The revelation God has given you and the testimonies you share has done something to me. I have never thought to pray for Israel at all or actually had a love for them. I always new i was supposed to be kind to the Jewish people and deep down I realize I thought less of them than my Christian brothers and sisters. Let me tell you, that has all changed! A couple of days into this current fast, God gave me a dream concerning Israel and the Jewish people. The context was meeting with them, dining, and learning about them. God has stirred me in such a way that I have a desire to pray for the Jewish people just as much as my own wife and children! I have been meeting Messianic Jewish men and praying with them for Israel and learning about their culture. I am currently in Kansas city at IHOP Immerse, and my heart is burning with love to intercede on behalf of Israel! I thank God for you Lou!

Shalom Lou & Therese–We, too, are watchman over Israel. I’m tracking with this Yeshua Fast and even two days after you spoke on Isaiah 44– I was moved deeply afresh by this favored chapter. My daughter sends this sweet picture of Navah our granddaughter in the arms of a godly man Craig Westoff (perhaps you know him from Kansas City days!) Anyway— I’m hoping I can send the pic…it is prophetic!

While watching the videos of the newsletter, I remembered the missionaries of Jews for Jesus Hungary, and their summer campaign in Budapest seven years ago I participated. Hungary has a terrible history with antisemitism even before WW2, which has not been dealt with in a way that would transform the culture and the collective remembering like in Germany. As part of the campaign, seven years ago, we went to outreaches and declared Bible verses for two weeks in different strategic locations of the city. Later I lost connection with them, and I now felt encouraged to write to them. After a few emails, I was directed to the Hungarian leader of the organisation. She immediately called me, and told, that a year ago God put a heavy weight on her heart, when she understood, that the Great Tribulations are going to disproportionally affect Jewish people. She began to talk to pastors and to intercede for the repentance of Jewish people and she explicitly asked for the lives of 5 million people from the Lord. She also had a plan to visit all those rabbis in Hungary she knows personally, to call them to the Messiah and to warn them. She read my news about the Yeshua fast and the global Ruth calling just an hour before her first meeting was scheduled. She felt greatly encouraged by the movement and all the saints that are fighting for her people. Thank you so much!

Hello, I am a Ruth. My husband is from a Hebrew lineage, though his Jewish grandmothers became Christian generations ago. This year Adonai has called our whole family to remember our Heritage and Bloodline and though we are Christians to Lee the fasts and celebrate the Shabbat. To pray for The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.
We have ten biological children, 3 years ago adopted five Ukrainian Roma children, grafting them into our family tree. This year the Holy Spirit has poured out on my 12 daughters and several are filled with fire, fire for Israel and longing for Jerusalem. A powerful anointing fell on my family as we celebrated the Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread. My daughters are rising up, daughters of Jerusalem crying for the earth, crying out for the Bride, for the fullness of Gentiles to rise up in a movement of healing, salvation and deliverance. My youngest, only six, constantly tells me to come with her to the ocean and sing a NEW song to the Lord.

On the preparation day of the Passover my daughter Naomi asked me to come with her to the field where she keeps her horse. Her horse was just moved to a new place and she asked me to come. When we arrived in the field her horse lead us to an abandoned lamb, weak, lame, dying, abandoned by its mother, still attached to the umbilical cord. And God put it on my heart to save the Lamb, to bring it into my home and rescue it, bind it’s broken leg, bottle feed it. We did and the lamb thrived! The kids joked that we would have to eat him for Passover but I told them Yeshua is our Passover Lamb. We named the Lamb Seder.

A few days later it was the feast of First Fruits, that night seven of my daughters asked me to anoint them with oil and pray for them to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. In this time the Lord spoke to my Oldest Daughter “This night we have redeemed some of the Daughters of Jerusalem!” She told me this a few days later.

That night I had a dream. I was standing on a mountain top surrounded by ten stones, stones burning like embers. There was a rush of wind, fire and water over the stones.
I stood inside the circle of stones, dressed in a robe of light, like moon light. And I heard a voice. “Call forth the Virgin Daughters of Jerusalem”

So I called. Eleven of my daughters came, and another young woman who lives in my house. Each wearing the color of the foundation stones of the new Jerusalem. Anna wore a garment of Jasper, Esther inSapphire, Hannah in Chalcedony, Rachel in Emerald, Naomi in Sardonyx, Christina in Carnelian, Susannah in Chrysolite, Abigail in Beryl, Laura in Topaz, Lilly in Chryoprase, Ember in Turquoise, and Leah in a gown of Jasper.

The daughters stood in a circle around me, among the burning stones.

A voice came again “Take your book and write the vision” so I got up from my dream, and when I found my book I began to write and rather than a dream, a vision opened up to me. The fire, wind and water rushed over the mountain top, and a man came to us in shining robes. He approached me, he held a broken lamb in His arms. He placed the lamb in my arms and spoke “This is Israel. The fullness of the Gentiles is Come. You shall be a shepherdess.” He looked at me. He also looked at my daughters. “Go, seek and save the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel!”

This is one of many dreams, words and visions that has come to my house since January 6, 2021.

I wanted to share this one with you. Pray for my sons and daughters. My boys are Isaac Joshua, Alexander Daniel, and Joseph Arrow. I already shared the names of my daughters. Also my wayward adopted daughter Elizabeth and her son James. My husband is Joshua, and I am Sarah.

Being brought up Catholic we were isolated from other faiths. Only through the Charismatic movement was I exposed to the Holy Spirit
and his work in bringing the Jew and Gentile into the One new man in the Messiah and a local priest fleshed it out by having a Passover seder service and his love for the Word. He being from Polish roots where there was much interaction between Jews and Catholics especially in the persecution there was expressed in some a heroism to protect our brothers from which came our Savior and Messiah for the world. Today we are daily challenged to provoke to jealousy w loving acts those from whom we\’ve been grafted in by the perfect Lamb. My life and ministry as well as my wife and son the latter two have Jewish blood have been guided into a greater understanding of what our role is in these latter days which can only be accomplished in His grace and by the Holy Spirit

In the past 10 years I began awakening. The past 9 months, the presence of God has increased, hearing, feeling rain. I’ve asked God to see seemingly complex projects sorted out. He’s brought peace that allows an underlying flow, doing. I’ve submitted, asking for wisdom circumstances to the work of His hands and seen peaceful, profitable solutions.

Last year I have fast once for two week. Jesus Christ wanted me to get into other level with his great picture, instead of wasting my time with the world stuff such as social media. And my hometown has been worse since 2020 with the strong impact of Hong Kong National Security Law. Most of us worried about the government of Hong Kong may prohibited prohibited all of the church fellowship because of the law in the future. I believed in God that is the king of the world. So I have to fully fast and follow the instructions from Jesus.

God is good! So excited to be alive and in God’s kingdom for such a time as this. God bless you and yours! In Yeshua’s name, amen.

God’s timing is always perfect! I fasted w/ you and thousands of Christians last year, 2020 during the Jesus Fast. It was a most precious and holy time and season.
This year I asked God again and again when I should fast again and what for. I didn’t have a clue, tried fasting and it just didn’t seem right. Today I got your email about the Yeshua Fast 2021. What can I say – I’m in and I’m so excited!! Can’t wait, in fact, will start praying for this season right away.
I believe we’re called for such a time as this.

I serve at a prayer house here in Germany and we’ve been interceding for months for God to move mightily on behalf of our country, Israel and the globe. I believe strongly, He is on the move!

For 10 years I have burned for missions in the Middle East, for dreams and visions, for the salvation of Iran. For this time I’ve tried to go but have found myself in cycles of great hiding from God. Issues of PTSD and addiction. Trauma that affected me from a very young age and lies I believed. The holy spiritual has never let me go. The past weeks leading up to today, he has continued to reach out. “ Arise “ he would tell me. And this morning, I listened with opened ears and a willing spirit.

My pastor is preaching a series on evangelism and the purpose of God from the text of Jonah. It’s happening now and I couldn’t help but realize how defiantly I’ve run from God. The series reminded me of a prophecy I received over 5 years ago.
I was spoken to by a pastor once, prophesied to in front of the congregation.
He told me I wasn’t called to be a Jonah but an Ester.
He told me I couldn’t run or hide anymore.
Now is the time to boldly approach God throne. To pour hour our love to him and live fully lead by his spirit. It will be a time of great consecration.

Lou, my heart melts so much as I think about a global Yeshua Fast. Tears fall from my eyes thinking about it. I am a Messianic Jew. I grew up attending a Messianic Jewish Congregation. I’m still part of a Messianic Jewish community, but I’m also part of JHOP Boston & Hilltop Church. I love this community. All of it overwhelms me.

My prayer for these 40 days is that we would see a transformed Jewish population of Boston in addition to around the world. There are so many college students who don’t know the Lord, nonetheless, many Jewish college students don’t know Him yet. They need to know Him.

I’m praying & believing that God will pour out His Spirit upon Israel during this fast. I’m praying that true redemption would come from Passover to Pentecost.

Thank you for organizing. I pray that we will be the generation that sees all Israel saved.

A couple years ago at the prophetic summit in Dallas my then 8th grade daughter heard you speak about fasting and she came home told her teachers she was fasting for a week and that she would be drinking a smoothie at lunch and putting it in the refrigerator and not to worry about her. This perplexed the vice principal, and kitchen stuff she said she was fasting and praying for her dad. I got a couple of funny emails about how they never heard of a kid doing such a thing. A year later God spoke very clearly to me and said that I should be so impressed with the example my daughter had set for me a& would I join in on this lifestyle choice. That led to a major shift in my household & and a family that’s been redeemed. We came home from the mission field 7 years ago and my husband was deeply wounded. He checked out emotionally and eventually filed for divorce. My daughters and I contended in prayer for him the last four years. I just wanna say thank you for being bold enough to ask people to join you. I was a Bible teacher, missionary, and never had fasted. Holy Spirit drew my daughter by your words and then she said a precedents in our house. Today, my oldest is in Kona doing DTS, that middle school girl who taught us to fast and my husband and I are headed to YWAM SHIPS this summer. Hurt and wounds almost destroyed our household, but then we fasted and prayed.

I was in Lou’s 6 AM prayer at harvest rock in the ’90s. October 25 Washington DC God gave me a word for Lou regarding women repenting in order to break down Row versus Wade and remove abortion from our landscape. Now the Lord has called me to raise up an army of Deborah’s and gather women into a coalition of women who minister, the gentle warriors. Harkening back to early history, “The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world”

How does one raise up a movement here I am lord send me!

Dear Pastor Lou…. This is in response to your video post yesterday, 2 November 2020 during the Three-Day Ester Fast…. 1 Kings 18:36-38. Be encouraged.

36 At the usual time for offering the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet walked up to the altar and prayed, “O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, prove today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command. 37 O Lord, answer me ! Answer me so these people will know that you, O Lord, are God and that you have brought them back to yourself.”

38 Immediately the fire of the Lord flashed down from heaven and burned up the young bull, the wood, the stones, and the dust. It even licked up all the water in the trench!

Romans 13:1 “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.”

Amen and amen…. Be encouraged for this is a day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice in it!

In 2009 my father, who was a giant in the faith and my guide unexpectedly went on to be with the Lord. His passing was life changing in so many ways for my family and me. In early 2018 I had a significant dream where I was walking through a Wal-mart in search of something. I was walking towards the front of the store when I passed a man and in passing realized, “that was my Dad!” I turned and chased him down, following him into one of the aisles. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and brown leather, non-descript shoes. Which I believe are significant of the common man (the nameless, faceless ones). I grabbed him and spun him around to face me (turning of the hearts of the fathers to the sons and sons to the fathers). I held onto him tightly (like Elisha and Elijah I would not let him go before he blessed me with the double portion of his mantel) jacket and shoes being his mantle which was that of the common man. He stepped back he looked at me without expression then turned and walked out of the store. I chased behind him wanting to follow him but could not. He walked out of the front doors into a blinding light and the dream ended.

Since then, I’ve had so many other dreams. Many with significances that I don’t fully understand yet. I seek to know God and know His ways, with all that I am. To be a Nazarite to the call. To walk in purity and obedience and to be a man of fervent prayer. With that I just want to say that our family stands with you and your team. I am part of your “Briefing” family and follow the fasting and prayer challenges you regularly send out. God bless you and all that you and Chris Berglund are doing for the Lord.

As of today, October 17th, 2020, I’m on the 25th day of my 40 day fast to end on Halloween. The purpose is to set myself in agreement through the Holy Spirit wilh all those around the world who are fasting and praying over what is happening in the world. The US election is critical, and even though I am Canadian, I believe that praying into the elections and coming against the extra witchcraft planned for this particular year, in the name of Yeshua, is critical. So far I’m the only one fasting for this in my community, but the larger body of Yeshua is the greater congregation and I’m happy to be called one of you, fellow fasters. Hallelujah!

Lou, several years ago, actually during the revival on the Mott Auditiorium, you went to preach in another city, and I went with my friend Olivia. There you prophesied to me my ministry was one like Hanna, praying day and night. Since them He has called me to fast more and to take the vow of the Nazirite as in Number 6. Presently is my third time and the longest. when I took the vow the first time He gave me peace in the midst of the storm. He has blessed me so much. Presently the prophetic anointing in on me more than ever. I am on the fast over a week until the election. Praying specifically for the abortion law and for safety to the President. I am so blessed to have been changed by Lou Engle’s passion for souls, this nation, and to end abortion.
I believe it was 2003 that I drove from ABQ to Las Vegas to go to ICLV Holy Spirit Conf to hear Chuck Pierce. I didn’t have money so I drove all day Monday to hear Chuck, then was planning to drive home Tues. so I didn’t have to get another hotel room. I had never heard of Lou Engle who was to speak the next morning, but I thought, “Since I’m here, I should go to the morning service and then leave.” Well, God had other plans as that morning, Lou preached such a powerful message that we were all on our faces for hours crying out to God for souls, this nation, to end abortion, etc, and I didn’t leave the service until 1:30 p.m. I was so moved that I couldn’t leave so I went back that night and I finally walked out of the service after weeping for hours at around 10 p.m. I drove all night to get home and wept and prayed all the way, stopping for a quick nap in Flagstaff in a parking lot. That was the beginning of my journey. I went to the Call in San Diego, drove to Col Springs to Dutch Sheets church and heard Lou again, as well as all the powerful men of God. I went to Azusa Call in LA in 2014, I think, and that was transforming! Every time we cried out in repentance, it poured rain! WOW!! I will never forget it–repenting to the African American, First People, Hispanics, and the Lord and it was the best day of my life.
Young people, get on God’s side and cry out! I am now 72, and will not stop crying out to end abortion. I was in San Francisco when Roe v Wade was legalized, and was a missionary in Fillmore, with the Baptist and did not even know about abortion, what it was, etc. I had not heard the word until 1972. Planned Parenthood was already performing abortions in SF, not only destroying babies lives, but mothers’ lives. This must end. It is no longer 60 million–it’s probably 100 million. Let us turn to the Lord with all our hearts and bring an end to abortion and the beginning of a great revival.

I left The Send Orlando 2019 with a mandate. I fasted 53 days. Revival broke out in my son addicted to pills for 15 yrs. A call came on his life. I stand with you in this fast for our nation to break out like my son did, with repentance and turning to back to God Jesus you are our only answer. With you Lou. #40days

I am on my 39th day of fasting with water and communion daily. When God led me into this time he encouraged me with this, “Consider this time beauty treatments, as Esther had before meeting her King. This is a time of consecration when I am making you without spot or wrinkle. This is the filling of the lamp with annointing oil. Readiness, preparedness leading to a great outpouring celebration on Pentecost.” I did not know my 40th day would be on Hebrew calendar Pentecost. God has let me experience so much pertaining to sowing in the time between Passover and Pentecost. He told me that what is sown in this 50 days will experience abundant multiplication in the season after Pentecost. Our home church has boldly reached out to the lost of our community in the midst of lock down. Every week God gives me something to sow into the body that meets at my house. They. In turn, bring back testimonies of how they multiplied the sowing and saw God bless others.
I heard you say you may go 100 days. I will seek God to see if I will join you in that. Blessings!

During the fast the Lord went to a level deeper than I have ever been. Even things I had dealt with and broken in the past and forgotten, came up in dreams from God. He’s been working in us deeper, going past the place of functioning well for His Kingdom, and going after every single buried thing apart from Himself. He is cleaning up and building up his Bride. He led me to pull all weeds, cut down all poisonous trees and cut out all roots and stumps from my garden both in the natural and the garden of my spirit and heart. It’s God’s timing that the fast and quarantine were aligned at the same time. Sequestered with the Lord, He drew us deeper into his chambers and we have been being transformed for the work his glorious Harvest, which I believe we are on the he cusp of.

Cuando escuché a mi hija hablar del movimiento de Jesús y lo que se iba a iniciar fue como si en ese momento una nueva atmósfera me envolvía y sólo entendí que cada una debemos orar por 5 almas para salvación y que son miles los que vamos a ayunar por 40 dias.
El Señor se encargó desde ese momento que susurró a mis oídos. Su compañia fue crucial para pasar cada tentación y sentir su presencia.
Cada día descubría hasta hoy un hambre espiritual y sentir cada vez correr en mis venas su palabra.
Esperar a El su despertar a cualquier hora y abrir la puerta para que entre a invadir este hogar ha sido un honor inmerecido.
Su mover, que ha despertado y hablar más que nunca con aquellos que al igual que yo estamos recluidas, encarceladas en nuestros hogares y solo podemos salir al trabajo. Gracias Señor por esto vivido.

Tenho um chamado profético para as nações e no dia 7 orei a Deus que me confirma-se mais uma vez sua promessa. Na madrugada do dia 7 para o dia 8 sonhei que era convidada a pregar e Deus me dizia que eu tinha que pregar João 3:16. No devocional do dia 8 falou sobre o versículo e sobre ele ser o grande tema da terra. Foi incrível isso. E também no terceiro dia de Jesus tive um sonho dizendo que o anticristo já estava aqui e eu via o papa com ele em uma reunião. Vi o lugar da reunião e um mês depois um amiga me mostra um vídeo onde o lugar, o papa e o anticristo eram os mesmos do sonho. Fiquei impressionada. Não assisto TV por isso não tenho essas informações. Foi incrível

Quando teve o the send 2020 brasil eu desempregada não tive dinheiro, entao assisti de cs o dia todo 12 horas, ali chorei e orei algo mudou minha visao estava parada, entao comecei o jejum de 40 dias, sem facebook e cafe, e foi muito dificil meu corpo doia, eu tinha muito sono mais na quinta dia 08 quando recebi o email do devocional algo mexeu profundamente em mim e comecei a chorar entao no dia 9 confundi as datas e quando fui orar para entregar lembrei da live ja era 00:00 mas achei no you tube e ali na sala comecei e fui ate o fim eu chorei tanto que não podia parar e solucava pq vi ali o tamanho do poder de Deus, e qdo Lou algo ia me movendo e tive varias revelações da palavra, no 4° dia eu fui orar pela madrugada e Deus me disse a palavra de neemia erguer os muros da minha cidade matutina-mg, 3000hab 95% catolicos a idolatria prevalece, preciso erguer os muros dessa cidade, foi demais, nunca mais serei a mesma, nunca mais esquecerei O JEJUM DE JESUS, obrigada LOU e todos os pastores envolvidos, obrigado THE SEND BR 2020

I’ve had quite a few dreams during this fast. I wanted to share 2 briefly as I believe they confirmed the fulfillment of the purpose of the fast.
I dreamt my Mother and I were walking down the sidewalk next to a highway when a huge church with beautiful windows dropped out of the sky and landed right next to the sidewalk (not set in with a parking lot or walkway in front of it). We were going to go in when a withered desperate woman knelt at my feet crying and she put my hands on her head. I could feel how she felt and I knew what my God was going to do for her.
Also I dreamt my husband and I went up to an old man to buy his huge motor, he said that it was really fast and powerful and he was selling it because he was upgrading. He said it was a LandRover. I looked in my hands and I had rolls and rolls of money.
I am new at interpreting but I know we were praying for power and the second coming and I know the world is so desperate right now, God is going to do amazing things!

I wish to share with you a dream that I had at dawn from the 30th to the 31st of March, a period in which fasting was taking place. I dreamed that my husband and I were on a beach. We saw many people on the sand, each with their own surfboard. There was also a teacher and he was teaching all those people how to surf. In the dream, I was surprised because I thought surfing was easy, but I saw the teacher teach the inclination of the body and several other details. So, I said to my husband, our surfing needs a lot of technique. At that time I don’t know if sleeping or awake I understood what that dream meant. I heard, it’s the third wave. I understood that this was the preparation for the third wave of revival. We are being prepared for God’s third move on earth and that move is coming.

I never felt anything so good in my heart, the presence of Jesus, Jesus rescued me I thought he would not accept me anymore, but whoever was not accepting him was me, this love rescued me and today I have life eternal life

This is our story:
Our family migrated from the Philippines to the United States in 2011, back in the Philippines we are blessed beyond measure to be a part of “The Call, Jesus Revolution” back in 2004, after the gathering, the revival fires spread across neighboring towns and cities and regions. Our little church in a small town was set ablaze with revival fires, the visitation of the Holy Spirit, a mighty move of God that released mighty encounters (dreams, visions, angelic visitations, baptism of the Holy Spirit, gifts, signs, wonders and miracles) that marked us for all eternity. From then on the fruits are multiplied as numbers grew and a Jesus movement was birthed through a glorious increase in men and women, young and old hungry for God, seeking His face,
an expansion of prayer movements, missions movement, revival fires poured out among the youth and churches and it spread quickly like wild fire. Coming from a Southern Baptist background from the southern part of the Philippines, when we moved to the U.S we lived in Southern California for a number of years, and God moved us to South Texas, a mighty man of God, a mighty intercessor who is also our mentor and spiritual father declared over us a prophecy of the “Fire from the south” and we have been marked to carry that fire wherever we go. We are now residing in Dallas (North of Texas) prior to our move we received a vision of a harvest field and we knew that God is about to re-locate us soon and here we are today living out the call God has placed in our lives and our family and we intend to run with perseverance until we finish our race.
Poppa Lou Engle along with the other Generals of God – you have been a huge part of our lives and we thank Abba God for your life, your call, and your obedience and we hold you up and your team in prayer as you fulfill the mandate of Heaven in this realm. Abba God has been meeting us powerfully during this Fast than ever before, dreams and visions and mighty encounters are pouring out on us like rain. The hunger for intimacy with Jesus grows deep with each passing day.
Towards the end of this Fast we heard Abba God say “sow your seed on good soil and you will reap a harvest, watch and see what I will do” along with this Scripture in 2Corinthians 9:10-15. We felt it strongly that Abba God is leading us to partner with you and your ministry for the End-time harvest. We Love you & we will continue to stand with you, believing and pressing in to see the fulfillment of every Word and every promise, for He who began a good work in you is Faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

Hi Lou, this has been a life transforming experience for me. I thank you for encouraging the church on this 40 day fast. I have been seeking the Lord with all my heart for the church our world and nation as well as personal breakthroughs and desires of my heart to walk in the Spirit and for His gifts for His namesake so the gospel is proclaimed. God has caused mountains to crumble and by faith I believe He is granting me the desires of my heart. I fully believe He is going to pour out His Spirit and I will stand in praying for it. I am so thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Bom… Foram 40 dias maravilhosos, de experiências incríveis, tive sonhos sobre meu ministério, tive revelação da parte de Deus, senti o Espírito Santo profundamente em minha casa, tive também momentos difíceis, mas com a ajuda de Deus eu venci. Eu me sinto mais cheia de Deus e não quero parar por aqui, eu quero mais, muito mais. Nestes dias eu aprendi a ouvir a voz de Deus e indentifica-la. Cada devocional foi uma injeção de ânimo e fé! Glória a Deus por estes dias e Glória a Deus pelos dias que ainda virão! Que Deus derrame Seu Espírito por sobre toda a terra!!!

Je me suis engagé à faire le jejum de 40 jours par la foi, parce que je n’étais pas sur de reussir. Les jours passent et je voir le surnaturel dans ma vie, l’envie d’être dans la présence et la compagnie de Jesus devient plus fort que les besoins phisiques et je me rejouis de prier pour les nations ma famille mes voisins enfin, je vive les meilleurs moments de ma vie depuis 2 ans. Emprisonné dans une grande depression que a dureé 2 ans, le 25-° jour de jejum je suis complètement guerit, la preuve Dieu ma demander de arrêter les medicaments surtout celui du soir, je Lui fais entièrement confiance et je arrête tout.
Ça fais 12 jours que je dors comme un bébé et je n’ai aucun manque de cette drogue que je pris pendant 2 ans. Oh Glorias a Dieu.
Il m’a guerit pendant que je prier pour les prochains.
Il me revele beaucoup des secrets de son cœur aussi, ce beau de parler avec Jesus et d’écouter ça douce voix et participer des ses plans parfait que il a pour l’humanité.
Woual Dieu est bon et avec le pouvoir de la priere et le jeune nous allons ensemble vaincre le mal et accueillir tous ceux qui viennent a christ pendant cet grand reveil qui est deja en train de arriver avec amour et compassion.

I did a 40 day fast last year (2019) that started March 13. My husband did it along with me. The day we started our 6 year old, unaware of the fast we were starting, told us she had a dream that her and her sisters were behind us as my husband and I “fought the bad guys”.
We saw great victory through the fast, my husband fasted for a co worker to find her biological mom, and she did! But one of the most beautiful victories we wouldn’t learn about until November 2019.
Right after this 40 day fast ended, the Lord called me into another 40 day fast for two friends who were trying to save their marriage after adultery. After that fast was over, the wife, who had been the one cheated on, experienced freedom and healing from wounds and they are doing great today!!!! Praise You Jesus!

Our 4 year old kept telling us she was going to have a brother.
Then we lost two babies in the fall; after we felt the Lord say it was time for another baby.

2 days after we lost the first baby…we received the call we were officially licensed foster parents!

And in November, 3 days after we lost our second baby…. we received a called…about a 7 month old baby boy who needed a foster home.

We learned his birthdate: March 31.
He was born during our 40 day fast.

And now we are in the process of adopting him!!!!

He can do more think we think or imagine.
Fasting and prayer is such a beautiful gift we get to have.

Just thinking about Jesus spending 40 days in the wilderness, fasting. Of course none of us had any idea we would be isolated during this time! I am trusting that God will do a mighty work in me and all of the Body during this time.

Started the fast through IHOPKC and God is really showing me that in him and through him all fear is gone and the burden of how much this world needs Jesus and how to show love to the lost!

What you are doing is contagious! I began my forty day fast on March 17 and didn’t even hear about the Jesus Fast until I was seven days in! Day 4 was really miserable; for half the night, the Devil was twisting my arm to quit. In the morning I told him, borrowing from the Navy Seals, “I will die before I quit!” Press on!

My eldest son (18) talked to me yesterday about talking to Jesus again. He said with this time being at home etc. he noticed he’s been selfish and that he felt like the Israelites just going to God when he needed something. But he recognize he’d drifted etc. And last night he voluntarily picked up his bible which he hasn’t done for a long time. I’m thinking and hoping and praying that his younger brother (15) will see this and pick up his bible again. Years ago when they were still small we had a prophecy over them that they were “Sons of thunder”. They used to prophecy and tell people about Jesus as children.

God took me to start a fast that will start on March 1 to focus with the call to evangelism and youth and today I find out of this world fast and I am amazed because God is not of any denomination but of the hearts that love and serve him passionate for the kingdom and the gospel.

I’ve never heard of you before this morning when an elder in our church forwarded your email for an urgent call to a global 3 day fast. I must tell you, that I nearly lept out of my bed where i was reading the email on my phone! Why? Because, in being away from my family this week so I can work, I had been texting them in a group chat, different challenges that I was personally being called to during some prayer and bible reading time. But on Tuesday evening, around 9:00, I texted them and told them that as i was reading in Esther, chapter 4:15, concerning her request for the Jews to fast for three days for her, I asked them if they would be willing to consider following the call. So Wednesday morning I began my fast. By the end of the day I felt that to fast for three days may be a little over the top, so I resolved to break my fast Thursday morning – the morning I received the forwarded email. The morning I lept from my bed and knelt on the floor in tears. God – you were speaking to me!!! How humbled I felt to part of what He is doing. And only drink water for 40 days.
Today is my 31st Day of water only fasting.
I have another 9 days to go.

By the Grace of God and by The Holy Spirit…
I dont have any problems physically and I’m very fine and healthy.

I read The Bible everyday and praise and worship.

This fast with the focus on prayer has really opened up the word of God. I’m like a spiritual child who has leanred to run! The Holy Spirit is moving, and my husband’s ankles were healed after I laid hands on him. Luke 4:18 Thank you, Jesus!

When I heard about the Jesus fast/40 days, I thought it would be something that I would participate in.  I even put it in my planner for 2020 and blocked out those 40 days. But, by the end of the year/2019, I thought maybe this wasn’t something that I should participate in. However, sometime in mid January I begin to feel that perhaps the Lord did want me to participate in the fast. So I asked for a confirmation and on February 9th I had a very profound dream that woke me up feeling very strongly that the Lord was directing me to do so.

In the dream, I was with three very prominent ministers among other evangelists, leaders and believers. I remember telling them in deep distress (especially to the three of them) that we needed to pray but to fast as well. I felt a very strong sense of urgency about this. The scene changed and I saw myself pounding the floor on my face/knees crying out to the Lord for mercy, repentance and to pour out His Spirit upon our nation. I felt such a deep stirring/mourning within me. As I mourned and travailed, (I literally began to moan in my sleep) I suddenly saw the Lord approaching us as we continued crying out to Him. It seemed like the more we continued to cry out, pound the floor, weep and travail, the closer He drew to us. It was really stirring and I felt such a sense of the fear and terror of the Lord on me. I didn’t realize it but My wife was hearing me moan in my sleep and woke me up because she thought I was having a nightmare.

I am taking the dream to mean that the Lord is definitely directing me to join this fast. I have given the invitation to those in our community here at the Orlando House of Prayer and fellow minister/pastor friends of mine.

Im stanly, from Canada, we do a ministry called as Ark of God Canada, upon a divine calling from Lord to equip people for a revival by ” connecting people with God” . Lord has been directing me to pray for 40 days from past days and weeks and today ie 26th February, i saw the YouTube video from engle ministry for a 40 days fasting call. Thank God for His confirmation and plans.

I was abused by a Satanic cult and developed multiple personalities. I became a Christian at 18. I was a bisexual & lead an occult group among my friends. Jesus spoke to me one day. I knew it was Him, though I don’t know how. He pursued me. I gave my life to Jesus in my bedroom. I was changed instantly. I was beat up & kicked out of my home following my conversion. It had no impact on me! Jesus was my everything! I have integrated all personalities & was delivered from demons. I Was also delivered out of drugs & alcohol. I am now happily married 25 years. We have 5 beautiful children & one granddaughter. I help lead a women’s group in teaching & prayer. I have helped others get free from the occult & occult curses. Jesus is the name above all names! Don’t give up! No matter how big your problems or issues are. God knows & He sees you & He loves you!

Like Paul, I have a past which includes undeniable sin, physical chains, and prison. I have a calling for writing and teaching the message of Christ. For me, this fast is a declaration of victory over addiction, to cleanse me of toxicity, and propel me into my calling.

Last year I had done the 40 days Jesus fast after going to The Send in Orlando-Fl, and through the process of fasting I was free from depression, one of my friend that done with us the 40 days fating heard that the Lord told her that I was being free from the spirit of depression ! Praise the Lord for that !

A friend invited me to the 2019 fast. I had never been able to really fast, so I felt encouraged to be fasting with someone else. The fast was not smooth, but on the 7th day of the fast, I had a great encounter with my Daddy, speaking to me in an audible voice. I also did not know that the fast was opening new doors of fasting in my life! Now I have the grace to fast more and longer. Glory to God!! I can’t wait for the “Jesus Fast” to begin. I have expectation of more intimacy with Jesus.

I came from a extremely broken home my mum left me when I was Only four years old, my dad was a really bad drunk and was violent, I was never allowed out , I felt like a prisoner life was awful I hated my entire existence at the age of 11 I built the courage up to run away from home and I never went back ever, I lived on the streets for 10 years whilst spending some time in prison mainly due to my severe drug alcohol addiction I also went from foster care and various children’s homes not settling anywhere constantly feeling empty and broken. Fast forward a few years and I was at my worst on the verge of a nervous breakdown I couldn’t function with drugs or beer and my life was in bits and all thought about doing was ending it all, I ended up climbing over a motor way bridge when I was 21 with the aim of taking my own life, but Jesus had a different plan for my life about 12 months before going to the bridge my best friend overdosed on drugs and and nearly died as a result he found faith and started going to church. One day he pulled me on the estate where we are both from and told me that Jesus loves me I was dead in side and had no time for religion or God but out of respect I smiled and just walked off, right back to the bridge it was about 2am in the morning with not a soul in sight as I am about to jump when suddenly I hear the voice of my friend in my head saying Jesus loves you and at first I was like wow I’m totally loosing my mind but then I heard it again but this time I heard it in my heart and something powerful happened that night on that cold dark scary bridge I had a encounter with Jesus , he saved me he really touched my heart in such a powerful way and has been blessing my life ever since I have now been clean for 22 years I am married with 5 children and 4 amazing grandchildren with another on the way, God has called me as an evangelist I help to pastor the local church which I belong to alongside with my wife Lesley. I have such a great hunger to preach the word of God and see the captives set free and the world changed for Jesus , I am so thankful for what God Has brought me from and I am so privileged that He chooses to use me in different ways to share his amazing Gospel one of the scriptures that really connects with my spirit is Jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you Lee says the lord plans to prosper you not to harm you but to give you a Hope and a future.

On December 2018, I was randomly searching for a teaching video to watch on YouTube by Lou and one video popped up that was no coincidence. It is called, “The Nazerite Vow” and what changed my life was when he said, “Oh, God, raise up nazerite parents who will raise nazerite children”

As I listened to this great man passionately teach, I desired to do a 40 day fast starting the day of my birthday in January (the following month).During the fast I specifically asked the Lord that our next child be a son. 2 months later I found out I was pregnant!

During my 6 week scan I was told there was an empty gestational sac that they thought either I lost the pregnancy or I was not pregnant at all. I told them, “oh, I am pregnant and it is a son.” I also had confidence my pregnancy was fine because 4 weeks before my positive test the Lord told me his name which is Hawaiian and his name means:

“A fearless warrior that moves like a cool wind (breeze) over the mountains”.

When I was 8 weeks pregnant (around the time my son showed up on the ultrasound to the surprise of the doctor who thought he didn’t exist) I asked the Lord to confirm the name he chose for our son – that night He gave me a dream…

I saw a mighty/intimidating man to behold with very dark red, leathery looking skin (he obviously spent a lot of time in the sun) and very long (almost to his waist), thick, black hair surfing on a surfboard made out of Koa wood, on a tsunami wave that looked to be massively hundreds of feet high!

This wild man was surfing with total ease toward an island covered in mountains and on this island were many demonic giants, as he surfed his eyes never dropped/broke focus off that island, he kept staring it down.

This tsunami wave was not water but a angelic host of warriors and the wind blowing through the mountains on the island were from the wings from this host… the closer this surfer came to the island the more violent the wind, the more violent the wind the more these demonic giants were being tossed around like rag dolls against the mountain sides – they had no control over themselves and were at the mercy of this wind and the wind was merciless.

I asked the Lord who this man was and He responded:

“He is your son. He will have the heart of a Nazerite – consecrated to Me and he will be a mighty intercessor that will bring down the high places. Raise him accordingly.”

Before I woke up I heard in the dream the chorus of a song i first heard during my fast watching a the Azusa Now stadium meeting where Native Americans sang this song, which I heard in my dream:

“When the wind of the Spirit blows, warrior, come on and ride the wind…”

This illness caused me to have severe scoliosis kyphosis since the age of two. I am the youngest of eight children.  We were four girls and four boys.  My oldest sister died from Leukemia as a toddler.  I grew up with a very difficult father.  I realized years later that my father was always ashamed of me because of the way I looked. Growing up I was also bullied and teased by other kids due to my very prominent rib hump.  Having many surgeries and wearing orthopedic braces wasn’t easy! 

I began wearing orthopedic braces and body casts from the age 2 to the age of 11 and then again as an adult.  I had my first open back surgery at 10 years old.  My spine was collapsing so fast I was having trouble breathing.  The doctors explained to us that I needed emergency open back surgery  because my ribs were collapsing on my lungs making it difficult to breathe.  I had a curve of 89 degrees and another curve of 56 degrees. Doctors explained to us that I have a deadly type of kyphoscoliosis and without surgery I would die.  I had surgery and had a rod put in to stop my spine from curving any further. 

Unfortunately I had complications.  A few days after being sent home from the hospital I developed a very high fever.  I went to see the doctor and he discovered I had a massive infection from the surgery. I almost died from this infection which left me hospitalized for three months.  Fortunately the infection finally healed but over time the rod that was put in as a child began giving me problems.  By the time I was 18 the rod had somehow moved out of place and doctors think it was causing my migraine headaches.  I finally had to go for another surgery to remove part of the rod.  My migraine headaches finally went away. However I struggled with my severe and painful rib hump and was always fearful that I would never find anyone because of the way I looked.

In 1996 I was accepted to go to school at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City to study textile design.  I graduated in 2000 with a grade point average of 3.8.  My art teacher Susan Rietman who I am very close to always supported me in my work and motivated me to believe in myself.  Shortly after I graduated I met someone and got married but, sadly found myself in an abusive relationship.  After I separated from my abusive husband I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I had five abdominal surgeries for this illness which resulted in more complications.  It was a very painful illness to endure.   During this time I had a dream of God telling me that I would go through many difficulties but I wouldn’t die and He would always be with me. In late 2004 I had a surgery to correct my prominent rib hump but it was unsuccessful and caused my spine to collapse at a fast rate.  I have a very rare and aggressive type of kyphoscoliosis. The doctors told me they couldn’t help and that I would end up in a wheelchair and then die. I remained bedridden and highly medicated to stay alive.  By 2006 I had a side curve of 115 degrees and a concave curve of 120 degrees.  I felt hopeless and very scared. No doctor would touch me because my condition was so severe and complex and I only had State insurance which doesn’t cover a $500,000 plus surgery.

One night I had a dream of a white light-filled Being who put His hand through me and straighten my spine.  Afterwards in my dream I stood up and walked away.  Two weeks later I found the doctor who saved my life. My oldest sister Ana took me to Texas where this doctor was able to correct my collapsed spine and rib hump. I have two rods and 26 screws holding my spine and had nine ribs cut and reduced in size to minimize the rib hump.  I grew five inches from the surgery.  This was a miracle for me.  The success of my operation was called a miracle by Dr. Shelekov and his entire team who preformed the operation. I am forever grateful for what he did for me. Unfortunately he passed away two years later.

After the spinal surgery I was doing so well that I was able to take a trip to Argentina to see my parents.  I especially wanted to see my mother who hadn’t believed I was well.  Unfortunately a couple of years after my surgery I started to suffer from severe depression and anxiety.   I had never felt this way before.  The doctors eventually  discovered I had ovarian failure and was going into early menopause. There were no medications I could tolerate due to the many side effects and sensitivities I have.  At this point I was 33 years old.  I was living in my brother’s basement at this time and my unmedicated depression and anxiety got so bad that I spent four years feeling hopeless and bed ridden. The one person who gave me hope was Father Frank who visited me.   In 2013 I went to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota where they discovered I had pelvic floor muscle dysfunction which added to my IBS making it hard to go to the bathroom.  

Amidst of all this suffering one day in 2013 I got a letter in the mail saying I was next on the list to rent a small apartment for people with disabilities in Stamford, CT.  The news made me so happy because I had waited for eight years for this opportunity, but at the same time I was scared due to my many health issues.  By October of 2014 I was so ill that I wasn’t able to drink or eat and weighed only 92 pounds. I remember calling my college professor Susan Rietman who advised me to come to Mount Sinai where they were able to find a treatment that I could tolerate.  Another miracle. I spent my 40th birthday in Mount Sinai hospital.  At this time I was praying to God and I promised Him if He saved my life once again I would start drawing and painting since art was always something I wanted to do.  After a few weeks I began feeling better but just a few days after being discharged from the hospital I came down with a pulmonary embolism and once again landed in the hospital.  Doctors warned me if the blood thinners didn’t work I could die. I was petrified but I kept thinking about my dream with God and somehow I knew I was going to be okay.   

A year before when I watched a movie called Heaven is For Real I was introduced to the artist Akiane Kramarik’s life and work.  This child prodigy inspired me to do art, especially to paint.  Her story about meeting God helped me to see and believe that my dreams where for real.  

As soon as I was better a close friend of mine David Anderson helped financially to buy art supplies to start my art.  He always believed in me even when I doubted.  I began to teach myself how to draw and paint. I am mostly self taught in fine arts. I should mention that for me learning is a true challenge because I have Attention Deficit Disorder and Retention Deficit Disorder, two challenging learning disabilities. I’ve discovered that I am able to learn best hands on.  So for the past four years I’ve been drawing and painting in different mediums such as gouache, dyes, watercolors, color pencil, graphite, acrylics, oils and pastels. Because of my disabilities and limitations I work a lot from photographs. 

I started doing portraits after I began volunteering in a daycare doing arts and crafts with children once a week. They inspire me to draw and paint them.  I also draw and paint animals.  I also love to paint animals, including people’s pets.  I work with a lot of details so my work looks highly realistic. I have a true passion for what I do. I have entered over 10 juried exhibits where my work was accepted in all the shows. In January of 2017 I won third place at the Stamford Art Association.  I entered the very first portrait I ever did which was of my mother, who sadly I’m losing to Alzheimer’s disease.  Winning with the portrait of my mother meant so much to me.  I went on to win first place with the portrait of Jaden in graphite at the Rowayton Art center. And I won third place with a graphite portrait of Melissa. I’m very grateful for the connections I’ve made through Instagram.  I got very inspired by a friend on Instagram by the name of Richard Macwee who is based in Scotland and is an amazing wildlife artist.  His work inspired me to continue drawing animals. I also feel very grateful and blessed to have migrated with my famliy to the USA where my life has been saved so many times.  My goal is to eventually teach what I know and to keep getting better and better at what I do.  I am open to trying different techniques. I have my studio is my small living room but I hope to one day have a studio away from my apartment.

I had a dream of a stream of water with the words “Lou Engle” floating in it. The words were white. I then looked up Lou on the internet and began the 40 day fast. I want to say so much about what God has done for me in these 40 days. It’s been such an amazing blessing to join what God is doing. So much clarity has been given, purpose, strategy, revelation. And the time is now to evangelize the gospel. Not by might but by his spirit. I really have a deep appreciation for what God is doing through Lou. I love Lou even though I haven’t met him. The trajectory of my life has been forever changed and I am so grateful. I am so grateful to God. He is doing a mighty move in America and beyond. He is coming back for a bride that is near him, that loves him, and wants nothing but him. Ekballo! I love you Lou Engle and team I pray grace for you to sustain what God has given you. Stay in the shadow of the Almighty. Praise the Lord. Praise God!

Hey Lou! So this particular testimony started almost 4 years ago. But firstly, God has built my heart to love North Dakota since I was 12; that’s also when I was going through depression, self-harm, and in my freshman year, 3 suicide attempts. In the 3 years, I struggled, I had the same youth leader and she was the only adult who knew about my struggles. She covered me in prayer all those years and because of her obedience and God’s claim on my heart, I did not succeed in my attempts. The last half of high school was spent learning how Papa sees and loves me. I knew I wanted to be a servant like her. Who knows how her heart groaned for me and how glad it made Papa’s heart that she loved like that. I knew I wanted that level of intimacy with God, that I could pray and love and support the hearts of broken kids. How could I not after witnessing the power of her warfare for me?
Harvey is plagued with the strongmen of religion and suicide that specifically targets the youth. It has been that way since the earliest summer I can remember. Well, after I graduated high school, I wanted to take a year off to make a decision for college. Before I left Florida, I went to a conference put on by The International House of Prayer. During a time of intercession, God immediately told me to intercede for Harvey, ND. He said, “I will come like a deluge. Because they are my children and I love them.” I knew then that I would be there for longer than a year. Fast forward a year after moving and working at the local hospital as a CNA, it became clear to me that Papa was keeping me from seeing death and even being around it. My friends told me to ask God, so I did, and I was led to Numbers 6. The Nazirite vow was not something I remembered learning about or even paying attention to, but my eye was immediately caught by them not being allowed to be around death. Well, I took all of it literally, which wasn’t hard, until a few months later when I found my first dead patient. Then I had to chop my hair anyway because of scalp psoriasis. After that, I never heard anything else about it from God. And I had absolutely forgotten about it until I saw the chapter named Nazirite DNA.

I was absolutely shook.
Completely wrecked and exhilarated like the best Christmas morning surprise puppy times 10.
I read and reread that chapter and was so moved and encouraged. It literally opened up a new realization of my identity in Christ. This fast of mine was not perfect like I wanted it to be, I failed more than once. But your encouragements helped me seek God further when I did fail. I hope I can maintain this spirit of fasting even though it is challenging. But I welcome the challenges because I know my security doesn’t come from myself. I’m ready to embrace my Nazirite calling.

I was specifically praying for wisdom and direction over this fast for the next season of my life. Not only did God make it abundantly clear, but he also spoke prophetically and through dreams related to my calling to Brazil and Canada. Much much happened but one of the things that struck me the most was that I had been working on releasing an album for almost a year and I finally released my first song. Only later did I realize I released it on the 40th day of my fast! As Jesus’ fast propelled him into his calling, I believe this fast propelled me into mine and released God’s song through me!

Not having done a 40-day fast for more than 5 years I felt at age 72 I could not do it. Reluctantly and skeptically I agreed to do it. Previously I did juice fasts so I thought that is what I would do but it didn’t feel right. I thought it was cold soup may be a good alternative. I made onion soup. Next onion and cabbage each one was pureed. I had always said juice fast if easier than eating less but God showed me I could eat less on a fast. I was also taking a webinar class Experiencing the Courts of Heaven and got a huge breakthrough as a deep generational sin that existed in me was confessed. My assurance was that I started dreaming which was not common for me. I believe this could not have happened without the fast. Then at the end of the fast I was asked to go to Washington DC to repent with others in the court of heaven for Minnesota’s part in abortion which is HUGE in June this year.

This fast has completely changed my world and spiritual life. I started the fast with a craving for more of God, a sense of desperation to see God do something NEW. I began praying with an authority I didn’t have in the past. I felt God was truly listening to my prayers and like he was writing them down. I had INCREDIBLE encounters and moments of worship in my room where I truly felt God was next to me. I had moments where I had full on dialogue with the Lord as I just sat on the floor of my bedroom asking him questions and hearing his answers. As I would go about my day I was see go through the day. As I would go to a church service I felt my worship had grown because my closeness to Jesus had grown. I truly have felt that God has walked with me throughout this fast. I’ve also been so blessed by all the devotionals and resources that have been shared through the fast. I’ve been so encouraged in knowing that thousands of us were fasting for one purpose. I’m sad because the fast is over but I know that this closeness with the Lord and this passion can be carried over and this can be my daily living! Thanks to all for putting this fast together SO excited for what is to come! God will continue to blow our minds.

(Condensed) 0n July 7th of 2007 I surrendered to Christ as a successful gay business owner in Jacksonville Fl. Raised in a Christian home, but molested and deceived, I ran from the knowledge of God for 10 years. On that night I was laying in bed with my “husband” and another lover, with money in the bank, local celebrity, and a successful business. I had Everything I thought I wanted but was empty and miserable with no peace or joy. That night I got up from bed, went downstairs, and wrestled with God as to why I couldn’t leave my business, identity, and life to follow Him. I had chosen to serve self, knowing what Gods word said, and even ignoring the logic of species procreation. The scripture instilled in me by my God-fearing parents is what Holy Spirit used to convict me. Every excuse my wicked heart could conceive as to why I couldn’t surrender was refuted with scripture. “What shall it profit a man if he gains the world and loses his soul”? “Whosever will come with me, must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.” “There is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof is destruction” “choose you this day whom you will serve”
That night I confessed my sins, slept on the couch, and left in the morning. Today I live in LA, working as an Art Director, serving at a church plant in Burbank, but travel to sing in a gospel quartet, and act in Christian Theatre. (Currently Caiaphas at FBCJAX Passion Play) I just found out that my friend Eric Snow was a part of your prayer event on 7/7/07 praying for individuals trapped in the homosexual lifestyle. I am the (a) fruit of that night. Thank you!

I woke up this morning and said to myself -“i am really going to miss Lou’s devotions – maybe he will send one now and then !” I was so happy to read that you would continue as the Holy Spirit leads ! Your emails encourage focus and targets which are needed in this loud world we live in ! I am still longing for answers and His Glory to touch me . To know my purpose and calling . From the beginning of the 40 day fast it has been a mental and physical battle. But at every turn (every 10 days) the Father has been so generous with his encouragement and his love toward me! After the first quarter of the fast on day 10 my son had a vision of revival and a friends son who is 7 had a dream about me that was deeply meaningful! Halfway through the fast on day 20 the dream from the 7 year old friend about me was physically manifested and I for the first time was given the opportunity to prophesy to our church of thousands a word about RAINS OF REVIVAL! On day 30 (3/4 of the way through) God so graciously gave my son yet another vision!! This time he saw a pump track for bikes which for our family represents as vision and a promise from God and on the pump track he saw the words “quarter mile”! As soon as my son told me what he saw it I knew that the Father was speaking to me, “you have a quarter mile left!!! Go the distance!!! The promises, the vision, the hope is all still there press forward don’t give up now!” I cannot tell you how deeply personal all of this is that God would use my own son to bring his love and encouragement to me!!! Our ministry and our heart is to raise up a generation who hears and sees God and is mobilize in their faith!!! So for the Lord to use my son and a 7 year old friend To bring his words, his love and encouragement to me I’m just blown away by our God!!! God is raising up a generation that is powerful and mighty and hears his voice !! He is pouring out his Spirit on all people young and old!! Your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams ! It’s happening! Thank you so much for leading us all on this incredible experience of drawing closer to the Lord and interceding for REVIVAL! It’s the cry of or heart! ♥️

I have prayed for years that Jesus would teach me how to pray. My prayers have gotten deeper but I feel I’ve not even scratched the surface. Please pray with me that I would be willing to receive the full mantle of prayer that God has for me!

This was a very different kind of fast for me. Each day I would ask how long am I to fast, each day I would hear today. On some days I would hear eat this today, at first I responded no I am fasting. I finally listened there was no shame or condemnation. This continued throughout the 40 days. I have been freed from my way of thinking about a right way and wrong way to fast. Each day I depended on him it became so freeing. I feel I have receive spiritual break through for myself, I see Abba as a loving , caring father . Who I can trust. I have learned a deeper meaning of obedience and received so much joy and a deeper love for those who are lost and don’t know the love of the Father. Thank you for your obedience!

My family and I had decided not to go back to the Dominican Republic this summer on a week-long mission. The cost was a lot for the effectiveness of what 3 of us could do, and I had also decided that being a nurse, I wanted my next mission to be medical. While I was at the Send, I kept thinking that out-of-the-country missions was NOT for me. I have been organizing a street ministry here at home and helping with another community outreach to low-income areas here in Georgia which sometimes feel like being in a developing country. I saw my need here. However, for some unknown reason, I have experienced a bit of general dissatisfaction. I still didn’t think I was being called to do any additional mission. I have been fasting all along with you, reading my Bible and praying.

While in Orlando for the Send, we prayed for three hours in a restaurant with two precious friends we had only just met who were also attending the Send the next day. When we were ready to leave, we asked the workers behind the counter if we could pray for them. One defensively answered that they did not need prayer, bc they pray 5 times daily. They were Muslims from Morocco and had watched us pray together, out loud, and with their customers for the last three hours!!!!! One complimented us on the good we were doing. We had no idea!

Two weeks ago I got a call from a friend and long-term missionary. She asked me to join her on a 9 day trip to Ghana running medical clinics. Some of what we will do will be directly with the Muslim demographic.

Every door has flung wide open for me and I have not had a stumbling block about getting off work, family obligations, etc. I am going to Africa this summer for my first time ever.

Getting to do all Of this is God giving me the secret desire of my heart at a time I did absolutely not foresee. I am tearing up writing these words. God bless all of your efforts and PRAISE GOD. I am among those being sent now, although I did not believe that would be my calling in 2019.

My husband Ryan did the 40 days fast. I (Randi) am currently about 11 weeks pregnant. On day 28 of the fast, we found out that the baby I am carrying has stopped growing at 6 weeks gestation and has never developed a heartbeat. I have not miscarried though and remain with the baby in my womb. As we looked at the dates, 6 weeks was the exact beginning of the fast. We are contending for life over this child, and believing God to raise it to life, start its heart beating and resume growing! We have had 2 ultrasounds, and I wait to see a Dr to tell me what they think I should do next. We are praying that medicine and science would bow to the name of Jesus. the fast is over now and we remain walking in this wilderness, contending for our deliverance into the promise that God has given us in this child. We know that in this process of contending for our child to come forth in the natural, God is also showing us that we are to contend for what he wants to grow and birth in the spirit over our city of Saskatoon, Canada. We fight for his promises, believing that he is faithful to fulfill them. We ask that anyone who reads this would join in crashing heaven for this mighty miracle. Father in heaven raises our baby to life in Jesus name. Make this heart begin to beat in Jesus name. Scatter our enemies and bring our promise to a thriving life. We call forth our child’s destiny and declare that it will not be stolen by the enemy. We’re thankful for every prayer that goes up.

I am so happy to have joined my family in prayers. I began this fast with hope for the world but so many doubts about my own future and here I am now with so many answers and knowing that Jesus is guiding me all the way. During this fast Jesus changed the way I thought and gave me his mind, changed my heart and priorities and I believe much more is still in process. And I thank him for teaching and disciplining me. When I thought I wasn’t listening well what he called me to do and asked for help I opened a devotional with Lou praying for a Brazilian to be sent to the Middle East and that was exactly what I had been praying just minutes before I opened my email. That I would hear God’s voice telling me that I was on the right path, that I wasn’t going crazy for burning for a place I have never put my feet on. I thought Jesus had done plenty telling me that but he wanted to to make my faith grow as well so a week ago I went to a job interview thinking I was applying for a teacher’s position when He definitely surprised me giving me a coordinator’s job when I have never worked as one, the beautiful thing is that I was going through a hardcore time since I couldn’t support myself in Rio, but I stayed cause that’s where he asked me to be in order to learn and grow, and suddenly I have the means to stay until he says it’s time to go.

Thank you so much Lou! I have been following your ministry for a while, and I have been so encouraged, but these daily devotionals during the 40 day fast have extremely encouraged and empowered me. I have been having dozens of dreams over these last forty days; that is something of a rarity in the past, and if I did have a dream it was usually one that I was relieved was not real life. But God has spoken to me so much in these days through that. Additionally, these devotionals have deeply challenged me to be all God has called me to be. That is a good thing! I am so so thankful! Praise God for your obedience and fatherly encouragement. It has changed my life. I believe God is calling me to pioneer some movements in abortion and revival, and your ministry has catalyzed boldness and urgency for this. We will contend until all the nations bow the knee in word and conduct to King Jesus.

Love you, Papa Lou!!! LOVE YOU!!! On Thursday morning GOD gave me “the GOD of PEACE will crush satan under your feet”! On my way to work in Manhattan the bus I was on almost had an accident – we stopped so hard that people screamed. I was reading that verse as the bus shook. I felt the Lord show me that this word was from the Lord for me and my family, it is alive and active and kept us from that accident. That afternoon I get a call from the hospital, my father had a heart attack. I rushed home to find out he is alive by a miracle!! He went to the dr with some discomfort, as the nurse was performing the EKG he got a heart attack, an ambulance took him to hospital. I get a text about 15 minutes later, our next door neighbor who is a follower of Christ wrote: “I am with your father”. Again, I felt the Lord tell me this word from the morning “the G-D of PEACE will crush satan under your feet”. My daddy came home last night – He is alive!! I turn 40 this Friday, will be fasting till Ressurection Sunday! You’ve been a spiritual father to me since TheCall NYC in 2001. Love you, Papa Lou!! My two boys, my hubby and my parents all love you!!! I am honored to have read these daily blogs, they were fire inside of me, I will treasure them and have been rereading them. Hallelujah!! This fast has been amazing. I have received a spiritual dream about 75% of the nights, and a number of visions and prophetic words from the Lord, including direction for my business and personal life. I have looked forward to receiving your blog via email every day and have truly cherished it, so I am very excited to hear you plan to continue sending it on a semi-regular basis after the fast too. God has set me free from bondage and healed me physically and helped me to forgive people I needed to.

In a word, this fast changed my life. Your blog helped every step of the way and so I will continue reading it. While I can’t say how it will affect revival and the sending of laborers, if what has happened in my personal life is any indication, I know I had an impact. I have had a flame ignited and a release of his gifts in corporate prayer meetings like I have not experienced in years. I have also been dreaming, seeing visions, and hearing His voice in the twilight hours like I haven’t had in years. I’m so excited and grateful to have a small part by joining in the Jesus Fast. P.S. Your book by the same name made an indelible mark on my life. Finally, I heard your call to the Messianic Jewish community last year at your Messiah ‘18. I fasted right after and I will continue to respond as God has set my heart years ago to pray for Jewish revival. During the Jesus Fast, my heart has deepened to see the great harvest of Jewish souls in Israel and in the US. If you do another “Send”-like meeting, I pray you will include the Messianics.

I thank God for this breakthrough experience that has changed my way of living completely.
Now I have my heart, my eyes, my ears open.
On the last three days I’ve started dreaming about my future as a missionary and I also have been receiving revelations of God’s Word.
I’ve begun to pray to the Lord of the harvest to Ekballo labors into His great harvest.

My prayer is for a boldness to share Jesus Christ. On March 8th I was involved in a head on collision with a drunk driver who was dead on the scene. When the collision happened the white airbags surrounded my whole interior of my truck cab the lights came on there was a white powder released from the airbags and I could just feel the presence of the Lord in the cab with me. I now have a platform to stand on asking others if this was you in the other vehicle where would you be for eternity? For a long time I have been thankful for the blessings and favor over my life but it has been taken to a whole new level now. I know what God has called me to do and I am just waiting for him to help me for fill the calling that he’s placed on my life. I have asked Him and continue to ask Him why me why so much favor and blessing over my life and my children’s lives. My mother was Jewish and I was brought up not hearing about Christ but I got to an age where something was missing and I found out that it was Jesus Christ. I praise Him and thank Him for allowing me to share in his kingdom and to tell others about how good our God really is. Thank you for being obedient and bringing the send it was an experience like I have never before.

Thank you for your ministry and dedication. Thank you for leading us in this fast and for all you’ve shared in your daily messages. I have saved each email you sent, planning to do the fast again so I was glad to hear we’re continuing to fast and pray and receive your blogs.

On this journey in fasting my second 40 day fast the first for Promise Keeper’s the St.Petersburg gather along with our local church. So it has been a while then now this fast. I do prison ministry in the panhandle of Florida. I have been in ministry as a volunteer disciplining men thru a Messianic Jewish bible study as well as mentoring. The revival fires are happening as well as men being released into society changed do Gods work. These men are disciplines the fire is in them as well me
True revival begins with repentance and not about you dying to this flesh daily as the spirit man will see Yeshua work mightly in unity to love one another as he loves you. Shalom Shalom with our Messiah Yeshua.

This fast and Lou’s prophetic emails have been confirming things for my husband and I that we have been believing for since before we were married 2 years ago.

We’ve known that we are those worshippers that will travel the country. We’ve been praying for the timing and years ago we felt like it was coming in September of 2019! Other emails have been so word for word things we have prayed and written in journals we read them crying. It has confirmed our life calling and given us greater clarity on our next steps!

Breakthrough in my ministry and my grandson’ s life. Prayer life increased. Hearing more clearly. Thanks, Lou, could not have done it without your encouraging messages💕🕊

During the fasting and prayer time I have experienced breakthrough with prayer, taking my mind off of my own problems and setting it more on others. I felt I was lacking something, yet every time I prayed and fasted during lunch time, I found myself rejuvenated, like the Spirit had awoken in me.
While I have missed a few days, and I don’t experience the same thing, I know that this time has changed my life. I have had the same thought that it won’t end now but I will work to make Prayer and fasting a once a week occurrence.
I am excited to enjoy lunch again and continue to experience all God has done for me. Thank you for hosting this once in a lifetime experience, I really enjoyed it.

I have had soo many prophetic dreams in my fast for myself and for my nation, Lebanon.

My life has been challenged and changed during these fasts. I feel so blessed to be part of a group of the body of Christ who is banding together to pray for change and for a move of God. Thank you for the invitation for the fast. Although I can fast a meal a day, I can no longer do full days. So for me it was more the 40 days of praying with you and others who were participants. Although I have not had an earth shattering experience, I have been blessed by the Word and participation. Yesterday day I felt encouraged to take another forty days of prayer and worship for labourers to join in the harvest needs of North America. Mexico continues to increase in violence. Jobs are scarce and extortion high for anyone who does earn some money. The USA needs our prayers to support the good people under the Trump administration. Canada is so far from the moorings it was established on, which is the Word of God. We need a change in government which will happen in October of this year. We need to take heed of 2 Chronicles 7:14. God continue to bless you and prosper your Kingdom ministry. As you pray for Canada please pray for the One Accord, a group of pastors traveling across Canada encouraging churches to fast and pray for 21 days, their key verse is 2 Chronicles 7:14. 🙋🏻‍♀️Blessings Brother, my Testimony has been as I live by Faith this Past 9 months since I found my self without a home as a single Mother Sharing custody with the Father of my kids.
And now this Fast. Has been more Peace of God within me. I’m very sensitive to the Spirit and seems ( discerning of the spirits ) and seems like has been much better the freedom within, as I sleep 😴 through the night (God wakes me up sometimes in the night) like He said that He will restore my dreams and vision. Seems like has been an acceleration like He said in my life. I have been having Mantels, Prophets passing double portions of Impartations of what they have to me, lots of Wisdom, Warrior Peace, Purity of Heart, Faith and an Axe etc in all this time. Because God has given me lots of Projects and is equipping me for them. I’m taking several. Classes that He said that God Already equipped me but He wants me to be Certified as a Minister Pastor (3 yrs of School also School of the Prophetic, and others like Liberations (which already tooked Classes in the past but now with a different teacher, Dreams and Visions, as well) because of the Projects that are coming up etc also He added 8 more days so total 48 days to pray for the Nations where He will Send me that already told me decades ago … and for my marriage which already shows me who will be my future Husband but seems like nothing it’s happening in the natural but I trust God. He will bring me a Husband in His Time. New Business, reconciliation with my kids this year, a move to another city. Mmmmm I just think that the Fasting has increased or reinforced what God already told me and to be set free of the enemy bugging me every day, especially in the night (I’m living with Mormons and it’s stuff in around the house that it’s not from God. I’m in Utah) Even so it’s not a diet the Fasting, I lost 30 lbs in the Picture I was on my 7 days of just water 💦 and I felt Great. To the Glory of God!!! 😀 Holy Spirit gave me the Menu and told me what to buy. One week just Water 💦 and Amazing vitamins but I run out of one and God said my Grace it’s Sufficient and not just by bread 🥖 live a men but by His Word… then 7 days of Salads and bread 🥖 with sunflower seeds, then 7 days of soup 🍲 and Salads (simple salads no tomato 🍅 nor avocado 🥑 but at the end was dry tomato ) with bread (flat Naan, flat Greek, and this last one bread with seeds) and go back to repeat 7 days with just Water 💦 etc He did not want me to do just Water hope this make sense 😊 I’m Mexican and English it’s my second language. How I thank God for you! Although this fast was not what I had originally planned ((water only three days a week) the clarity and miracles that have occurred these past 40 days have been humbling and life changing! On day 28 I was struggling and I heard the words” you keep giving me sacrifices to ease you mind, but it’s your heart that I want!” What a loving wonderful Papa God we serve! My intimacy with Him is on a new, deeper level! During this time I have read Pete Grieg’s Book Dirty Glory, and my soul has been stirred to intercede for this generation like never before! I have made many trips to IHOPKC from Des Moines, but am praying that I will be led to a house of prayer or better yet, be involved in raising up houses of prayer in Des Moines! My grown children have left the church and married atheists, so my prayers have personal implications. Thank you for all you do to bring this Joel 2 generation to its fullness in The Kingdom! With the chaos I’ve been going through at home, I’ve been praying for peace and silence so I can hear God more and I’ve been literally desperate. Well this past week my brother has been with his daughter and I had peace and quiet, well he’s got accepted into a rehab facility for alcoholism to get sober and to become better, that he will be going to Tuesday for 45 days in Fort Laudable. It’s crazy how 40 that number seems to be powerful. God is definitely working and I truly see it happening. God is truly doing great things and one thing one of my pastors , whos been a big help to me in this process , Pastor Samuel Rolon in his preaching that I’ve been working on is to try to remain positive and not speak negative so every day I always say it’s going to be a good day and put God first and spend time with Him before work, that makes a huge difference . When we stay faithful to God He is faithful on to us. I read one of your devotionals that you shared, with where it talked about someone extending the JESUS FAST and I had it on my heart to do so and wanted a sign to do it. The head pastor of my church wanted the whole church to be part of a 40-day prayer and it would end with the whole church gathering together for a youth service combining the whole church, that’s everything to me where we can gather together and spend time with the one Who Saved Us. So my JESUS Fast will end on the 26 of April, God is doing great things and I want to keep this up to go deeper with Him. And eventually go out there and pray for people with courage And boldness.

Wonderful Presence of the Lord, clear direction in my calling. Open doors. I could since the unity we had in the spirit. This is not the specifics but thank you Lou, for all you do for the Lord and the body of Christ. Gods blessings on you and all you do.

I have seen the power of God working throughout this time of fasting and prayer. I have seen a change in my health. They found a spot last year and this year not even a trace of it. My daughter told me some real secret things this year about temptation (same-sex attraction) and molestation. My heart was broken and I am grateful I was in prayer. I have seen healing take place in this matter and asking that complete healing takes place in her heart, soul, and spirit. Thanks for this opportunity and I know this is my lifestyle for life.

For the first time ever The Lord opened my eyes to hear Him speak, and I received an accurate word of knowledge (through a visual impression) about a young man at church. Needless to say it encouraged us both! More Lord!!

First, thank you for your daily devotional blogs. They have provided encouragement and focus. One night, during the fast, and I wasn’t even thinking about it, when, all of the sudden I received a revelation of the severity, the impact, the crushing of Jesus on the cross when the total sum of darkness came upon Him, and He received it all. Words fall short of what I “saw”. Now, there is a new awareness and expectation to receive all He paid for. I was also greatly impacted by the “Ekballo” and “Stadium Christianity” message, to the point of praying, “Lord of the harvest, Ekballo me”. I am now, by His sending, participating in the 1Nation,1Day outreach to Peru in June, and on June 29, 15 stadiums will be filled with people to hear the good news of salvation in Jesus. My life will never be the same. Thank you, Lou, and I plan to continue following your blog.

Thank you so much for calling the body to this fast. I feel changed and challenged. I don’t know to what degree but I do know God is closer or I am at least. Haha! The devotionals also! 👌🏾 OMG! After The Send I knew that wasn´t just an event or even a moment in my life, I knew that God wants to make revival born in me. At the first day of the fast, I was working in my local church carnival conference ( very common in Brazil) and as a volunteer I had no expectations on see the first session, but somehow here I was just hearing that man who is one of that I belive greatest revivalists in Brazil today… after like 30 minutes of a powerful sermon about the Prayer Spirit I was literally on the ground crying out to the Lord to send me His Spirit and make me a revivalist in this world. After some days I was in my prayer time speaking to God about the revival and How much we want and need this and He lead me to a moment of cry, pray and declare this … some days after in my church a young boy said “the revival in Brazil is a reality of our right now “. The fast is teaching me about to count all as a loss, after see and feels things like never before at The Send and in fast time nothing in this world will ever be enough but God wants to show this world who He is and He wants to do this through my life.

After praying and fasting super intentionally for the first time, I have been hearing from the Holy Spirit for the first time! I prayed to God asking for words of knowledge about people on the streets. The next day the first man I talked to, the Holy Spirit highlighted the name Alyssa, who happened to be the name of the girl he had just started seeing! God is so good, he has been setting me free from past habits and addictions and I never want to go back! Dead to sin, Alive to God!

From a teenage girl to now being a wife and mother of three, my heart is always set on fire by your words Lou. You carry such an anointing that brings the glory out of everyone around you! Thank you for who you are and what you are accomplishing in the Earth for Heaven’s sake. I love and appreciate your ministry!

This is the first time I’ve fasted and it really meant something to me. Fasting, for me before, was always something I did to join everybody else and became a ritual of rules I had placed in myself and then maybe God will hear my request….sigh…

As I grew in my relationship with my Father I realized there was so much more to fasting and so I just didn’t fast. I wanted to understand more the purpose of fasting before I once again fell into that ritualistic striving to “be a good Christian” thing.

Then I went to The Send and I heard that call to fast echo across the crowd of people and I heard my Father nudge ever so gently with His whispers of love beckoning me to draw near to Him. I fought it. But the nudge persisted. So I thought about what I could fast. I kept hearing “Dive in, Jill. Go in over your head! Trust Me!” And so I did.
In my fast, I researched fasting and listened to some teachings and I realized that fasting is just spending more time with my Father…knowing Him and just being with Him.
He showed me things I needed to see about myself and my relationships. I didn’t have dreams or get these grand entrepreneurial ideas or write intimate worship songs or receive this passion for my purpose but I did get to know my Father a little better and His love for me. He is my Shepherd and I am a sheep who hears her Shepherd’s voice and I KNOW He is leading me to green pastures and still waters. And I am content.

We have included no media as a part of this fast. Before the fast, the Lord gave my wife a dream where a number of different moves of God came together to pray for Israel. During the fast, the Lord has been reviving in my heart a decade old prophetic word I had received about Israel and abortion. “The measure by which Americans contend to end abortion is the same measure by which she will be used to contend for Israel in the last days. By this same measure, she will also see a revival of prayer, holiness, and fulfilling of the Great Commission. The Lord is raising up the Champions of Israel from the womb of this generation.” Our leading during this fast, there were far too many confirmations, is to start a local house of prayer, but not just a house of prayer. It will be a house of missions, of ekballo, of ending abortion, of being watchman for Israel. This fast has been one of those “never looking back” type of moments for our family.

I did a modified fast as I am a mother of seven children and I have been greatly encouraged by how I have seen the Lord move. Early on in the fast, I had a dream that I was very pregnant and I was rubbing my very full belly. My house was full of people and my husband was preaching a message of repentance. When he was done I went and hugged him, still rubbing my belly. I felt repentant, the whole room full of people did as well. Repentant but encouraged and hopeful. I knew my belly wasn’t pregnant with a child but rather a calling. My husband felt assured he had spoken exactly what the Lord wanted him to. A few weeks later as I was praying Matthew 9:37-38 along with all my brothers and sisters in this Jesus Fast (day 19) I had a vision of my husband harvesting (wheat but I knew it was souls). We live in central California and he was standing pulling the harvest in from a field as far as the eye could see – the whole central valley. His eyes were resolutely set on the harvest. He had Jesus’ heart for the harvest and the Lord said, “he is My steady harvester of souls. He will pull many souls into My Kingdom & he will encourage many others to harvest in the same way he does.” (He is not a pastor by trade but rather a financial advisor, he has the gift of speaking the truth in love and people trust him and respond).

A week later the doctors found blockage in his heart and scheduled him for an angiogram and stents. We began to pray the blood of Jesus through his arteries and that Jesus’ blood would remove 100% of that plaque. He went in 4 days ago for the procedure and the doctor called me shocked – he had 0% blockage – perfectly clear arteries! We knew Jesus had graciously shown us His healing power!! That same day (April 5) was The Altar Conference here in Fresno, California. The Holy Spirit had been interceding with groans too deep for words through me this entire fast for The Altar (many of the same speakers/worship leaders from The Send were there). At the end of the conference (Saturday evening) when Jeremy Riddle, Steffany Gretzinger & Heidi Baker we’re up there they were powerfully interceding for our city. They could sense that there was a resistance in our city – I felt in my spirit it was Christians not wanting to fully yield to Holy Spirit. They battled in prayer and worship for our city and I’m so grateful they did. I believe that the seeds deposited at The Altar will bear much fruit in our Central Valley and just how the Central Valley is one of the worlds most productive agricultural regions and we send our fruit across the whole world, so we will send the fruit that comes from the breakthrough at The Altar across the whole world. I am continuing to fast for this breakthrough in our valley. My hearts cry (and I feel the Holy Spirit groaning so strong within me) is that Christian’s who are called by His Name will humble ourselves and pray and seek His Face (the FULLNESS of His Spirit) and turn from our wicked ways (fully yielding our whole lives to Him). I long to see Christians (specifically in our region here in central California) to give up their lives entirely to find True Life!! That we would joyfully live crucified to Him and we would no longer live but we would fully allow Christ to live in us!! That Rivers of Living Water would burst from within us!!!

Hi Lou! First of all, I want to thank you for your great encouragement for these 39 days of fasting. Every devotional gave me the direction to start praying on days where I was a little lost. Thank you for your kindness and reflection of Jesus on every line you wrote. Well, on the first half of the fast I was praying for revival, for God’s move through those who went to The Send, to the nations and all of that. But then the Spirit started switching my words leading me to start praying to me, myself. At first, I felt somehow selfish and thought it was out of purpose. But as I started praying for my own self, Jesus started to set me free from things I didn’t realize I had to. One night I started praying loud for my traumas and I felt some type of emotional block going away from my throat. Then the Holy Spirit filled out my room with His presence! It was incredible!!! I think this was the most remarkable thing that happened, and I know there’s more to come. Though I’m really excited to finish the fast, I will miss this unique time I had with my Father. My bones are burning and my spirit is ablaze. Day and night I am praying that this present move of God will sweep across Florida and the nation. The revival fires of all nations will join together as Jesus answers all our prayers with holy fire.

Gods timing has been something I have yet to comprehend but I am beginning to awaken to His presence and our purpose He intends for us to become more aware of!

My first extended fast has been challenging but much more rewarding! I will tell of some of the chance timing of things that may seem small coincidences but in my eyes are the whispers from God that set my heart on course for the mission I was born for!
Even today as I read about Frank Bartleman in the devotional, it wasn’t 12 hours ago that I was reading Flashpoint of Revival (chap2 The Jesus Fast) for the first time and was moved even more so!
Also yesterday I opened a new copy of The Passion Translation I ordered from Bethel Church and the first page I opened to in John 4:31 is titled: The Harvest is Ready.
!!!! Wow!!!!!!
Last week I happened to take a shower with my new watch on and hadn’t realized it and hoped that I could dry it out but later on in the day realized it had stopped working but also noticed it had stopped precisely at 3:16 pm! Later even I noticed that the verse of the day in my YouVersion Bible app was John 3:16!!!!!!
Gods divine whisper has brought me closer and closer and finally at worship yesterday a moment I have been crying for as I was overwhelmed by His presence on me I had uncontrollable tears and emotion I couldn’t hold back. I have been praying for the Baptism of the Spirit and I know it’s coming! I want to burn for my family and for my city and for the world to see so they might come alive and know the Father!
This last 39 days has surely set me on a course of transformation and given me such a heightened awareness of Gods supernatural abilities to change me every day through prayer-fasting- and feeding off of the Word!
Yay God!

My fast involved laying down a whole list of things that drew me away from God. Dietary restrictions, social media, texting, social emails, and secular tv.
I made room for my heavenly father and He has shown me so much. He has worked in mighty ways in my husband, who did not fast, but as a result of my 34 yrs of praying and honoring God, has been catapulted into a season of growth in the Lord.
I have a journal full of miracles and wonders..of revelation and growth for me during this time. My fast ends on Good Friday when my spiritual mentor and Co-laborer in Christ…my daughter, will come here to NH to spend Resurrection weekend. She has been fasting as well and there has been a mighty move of God in her life.
We both know that this time of true consecration will be melded with the host of others who engaged with Father God, and together, our prayers for a worldwide revival will indeed come to pass.

I praise the Lord for this time of fasting. I believe the Lord has made it to be a breaker anointing to a lifestyle of fasting. This is my first concentrated long term fast (Daniel Fast). The flesh rose up in ways that revealed what needs to be crucified and sacrificed on the altar.

In the midst of the purge, there is more belief in me for who God is and what He can do. Although I live halfway across the country from my family, they have been getting physically and spiritually healed through prayer. Their belief is rising to action.
There is also a rising hunger to see transformation across the globe! It’s a time for reformation and revival—a turning in all ways to the Lord Jesus in His glorious, holy splendor!!

I’m honored to have done this fast, and I intend to continue fasting throughout this year!

Thank you! This fast has been filled with God-appointments that we’re only fulfilled with divine timing. I started this fast after attending The Send. I believe one of the primary reasons I was there was to pick up this mighty tool as my family is moving to Northern Ireland in the next month!

I loved all of the calls at The Send – but it was the call to fast and pray that actually brought me joy! It was a year prior that I had read The Jesus Fast and My heart burned within me to encounter Jesus for myself and to contend for revival in the place of fasting. So I set my heart to begin this fast.

The day after The Send I met up with some friends in St. Petersburg, FL. They had previously been with us on a short term trip to Ireland. On the trip, they encountered the power of God through praying and worshipping for the nations. Since that time, they’ve been burning for Jesus and praying/worshipping and contending for revival over their city.

So, I attended their gathering the day after The Send and while I was there they prayed in faith that we would receive the remaining funding that we needed to launch to Ireland. We needed $1200/mo to proceed.

The next morning, while at the beach resting from the amazing weekend, I got a call from a friend in Illinois who said that he had been praying for us over the last day or two and he really felt like the Lord was telling him that their church was to fill the gap of what we needed financially! I wept at the faithfulness and love of God! The next day, it was all finalized and the church started the support that has now made it possible to “be Sent”.

As I looked at my calendar for the 40 days of fasting, I was traveling a lot and even taking a group to Northern Ireland. I decided not to do a water only fast, but to fast from many things that brought me comfort (caffeine, sweets, etc) and is fast from food every weekend (with the exception of the two I was traveling abroad).

While in Ireland though I saw God working in opening up new connections, new relationships that I’m sure will be building blocks of contending for revival in Ireland and Europe! So many meetings and relationships began that were only possible because of Gods sovereign timing!

During the fast, especially in the last two weeks, I’ve been having more dreams from the Lord, an increase in the prophetic, and I’m seeing sinful desires be squashed!
