Since 1995, the European Coating Symposium (ECS) brings together researchers from academia and industry to share and discuss advancements in liquid film coating science and related processes. The ECS Symposium is held biannually in rotation, on with the International Symposium of Coating Science and Technology (ISCST).
ECS2021 will take place in Brussels, Belgium, and is organized jointly by the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) and the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The ECS2021 will host distinguished keynote speakers and contributed talks from academia, research institutes and industry, as well as poster sessions and a commercial exhibition. Moreover, we , ECS2021, will host a pre-conference training course titled Dynamics of Liquid Film Coatings- Theory and Applications will take place on Monday 6th September.

Monday 6th of September: Prior the symposium, a pre-conference training course titled Dynamics of Liquid Film Coatings Theory and Applications is organized at the von Karman Institute (Waterloosesteenweg 72, B-1640 Sint-Genesius-Rode, near Brussels)
The fee of the training course not included in the symposium. There is a separated registration form for the training course.
Tuesday 7th of September: Keynotes, Presentations, Poster Session and Welcome Drink at the Université Libre de Bruxelles
Wednesday 8th of September: Keynotes, Presentations at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and Gala Dinner at the Magritte Museum
Thursday 9th of September: Keynotes, Presentations at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and visit of the von Karman Institute
