The latest addition to the MACC Care family, Leighton Rose, is a state-of-the-art new care home opening in Spring 2024. Contemporary in design and utilising the latest in health and care technology, the home will offer generously proportioned en-suite accommodation for 71 residents and person-centric care of the highest standards.

Purpose designed and built with expertise and meticulous attention to detail, Leighton Rose will offer first-class facilities – a place where your loved one can feel at home in a spacious and comfortable setting, featuring every amenity they could wish for.

Meet the Manager

Clare Hedge,
Leighton Rose Manager

I have been working in care homes for 29 years, and as a Registered Care Home Manager for the last 22 years. I love my role as no two days are ever the same and I love to make a difference to people’s lives every day.

I have a keen interest in promoting the wellbeing of residents, relatives and team members and as Commissioning Manager at Leighton Rose Care Home, it is important to me to create a friendly and happy environment and a true sense of community where we can all support one another with a sense of family.

I am excited about the amazing facilities offering every home comfort for residents, and to be leading an experienced and committed team that is always ready to go the extra mile as nothing is too much trouble.

Outside of work, my interests are reading, cooking to live a healthy lifestyle and keeping fit – you may even find me fitting in a workout in the gym at Leighton Rose! On my days off, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I love travel, good food and to try new things!

What sets us apart

We believe Leighton Rose will set a benchmark for quality in care home design within the local area.

This true ‘home from home’ will feature wonderful communal spaces including a number of dining, lounge and terrace areas in which residents and their families and friends can get together and socialise. For stimulation and engagement, activities will be held every day together with a varied events calendar. Just as importantly, Leighton Rose will provide numerous quiet spaces indoors and out, for residents who would prefer to relax with a cup of tea and a good read or enjoy a spot of gardening.

Leighton Rose’s well-proportioned bedrooms will be individually decorated to a luxury standard. En-suite wet room facilities will ensure privacy and dignity for residents at all times. Each room will also contain a high specification call system, premium quality furniture and furnishings as well as a television.

Additional services will include; a laundry service, access to a weekly in-house hairdresser, massages and manicures. We also can arrange for sessions including, Aromatherapy, Chiropodist, Chiropractor, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene and Eye Testing.

As with all MACC Care homes, food and nutrition at Leighton Rose will be second to none, with a varied menu of delicious meals, accommodating individual preferences and special dietary requirements. Snacks and drinks will be available for residents at any time.
