One Health Grand Challenge
SAVMA Public Health and Community Outreach Committee

The SAVMA One Health Grand Challenge application is right around the corner, and it’s time to start organizing for your application!

The One Health Grand Challenge is an opportunity for students to develop a meaningful and sustainable One Health project at their university, in their community, or elsewhere. This competition is meant to challenge students to create a project or event that incorporates as many domains of One Health as possible while reaching a large audience. Projects will be judged based on originality, quality, depth, concept clarity, and justification of how the work advances the mission of One Health. We will also be considering the depth of thought put into the project’s goals for the future.

Being in the middle of a global pandemic makes planning events and projects difficult, but raising awareness about One Health is important now more than ever!

  • Five $1000 grants will be awarded.

  • The project/event can be virtual.

  • The best project will be featured in the Vet Gazette!
