Conheça o Projeto UAveiroGreenBuilding!
[🇵🇹] A Universidade de Aveiro (UA), em parceria com o Cluster Habitat Sustentável e a EVRIS Foundation, desenvolveu o projeto UAveiroGreenBuilding (29_Call#2_UAveiroGreenBuilding), cujo objetivo é definir uma metodologia inovadora na lógica dos princípios da construção sustentável e da economia circular para os projetos de reabilitação e manutenção do edificado da UA.
O projeto, que arrancou em novembro de 2020 e deverá estar concluído em outubro de 2022, é coordenado pela UA e pretende responder aos objetivos das áreas prioritárias definidas para o Programa Ambiente relativo à Economia Circular no sector da Construção.
O UAveiroGreenBuilding é financiado pelos EEA Grants, um fundo suportado pelos países doadores, Islândia, Liechtenstein e Noruega, e gerido pela Secretaria-Geral do Ambiente, o operador do Programa Ambiente em Portugal.
Meet the UAveiroGreenBuilding Project!
[🇬🇧] The University of Aveiro (UA), in partnership with the Sustainable Habitat Cluster and the EVRIS Foundation, developed the UAveiroGreenBuilding project, whose objective is to define an innovative methodology in the logic of the principles of sustainable construction and circular economy for the rehabilitation and maintenance projects of the UA building.
The project, which started in November 2020 and is expected to be completed in October 2022, is coordinated by UA and aims to meet the objectives of the priority areas defined for the Environment Program on Circular Economy in the Construction sector.
UAveiroGreenBuilding is funded by the EEA Grants, a fund supported by the donor countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, and managed by the General Secretariat for the Environment, the operator of the Environment Program in Portugal.

[🇵🇹] Desde o seu início em 1973, a Universidade de Aveiro (UA) transformou-se numa das universidades mais dinâmicas e inovadoras do país. A sua organização estimula a troca de conhecimentos entre as áreas do conhecimento, promovendo uma útil proximidade entre o ensino e a investigação.
Considerando a importância da definição e implementação de uma estratégia de sustentabilidade, a Universidade de Aveiro (UA) constituiu um Grupo de Missão para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, que tem como objetivos criar e desenvolver um conjunto de processos articulados num Sistema de Gestão Ambiental (SGA) passível de Certificação, tendo como base as linhas de orientação da NP EN ISO14001:2015. O SGA da UA, atualmente em fase de implementação, integra todas as suas atividades, especificamente as de ensino, investigação, cooperação com a sociedade, serviços de suporte e unidades de interface.

[🇬🇧] Since its beginning in 1973, University of Aveiro (UA) has transformed itself into one of the most dynamic and innovative universities in the country. Its organisation and matrix structure stimulates knowledge exchange between knowledge fields, promoting a useful proximity between teaching and research.
Considering the importance of defining and implementing a sustainability strategy, the University of Aveiro (UA) has set up a Sustainable Development Task Force, which aims to create and develop a set of processes articulated in an Environmental Management System (EMS) qualified for Certification, based on the NP EN ISO14001:2015 guidelines.
The UA EMS, currently in the implementation phase, integrates all its activities, specifically those of teaching, research, cooperation with society, support services and interface units.

[🇵🇹] O Cluster Habitat Sustentável, gerido pelo parceiro neste projeto Associação Plataforma para a Construção Sustentável, é um dos clusters de competitividade reconhecidos oficialmente pelo governo português desde 2009, cuja missão é de agregar empresas, centros de I&D, e outros agentes com intervenção na cadeia de valor do Habitat (materiais de construção, construção e imobiliário) para em conjunto desenvolver pela inovação um habitat (edifícios, cidades e infraestruturas) mais sustentável. Desde o início que a visão estratégica do cluster tem sido a inovação pela sustentabilidade para reforço da competitividade das empresas através da cooperação.
Com mais de 150 associados tem participado e mobilizado diversos projetos e outras iniciativas no domínio da construção sustentável.

[🇬🇧] The Sustainable Habitat Cluster, managed by the project partner Association Platform for Sustainable Construction, is one of the competitiveness clusters officially recognized by the Portuguese government since 2009, whose mission is to aggregate companies, R&D centres, and other agents involved in the Habitat value chain (building materials, construction and real estate) to jointly develop a more sustainable habitat (buildings, cities and infrastructures) through innovation.
From the beginning, the strategic vision of the cluster has been innovation through sustainability to strengthen companies' competitiveness through cooperation.
With over 150 members, it has participated and mobilized several projects and other initiatives in the field of sustainable construction.

[🇵🇹] A Evris Foundation na Islândia é uma fundação privada sem fins lucrativos, sendo o seu objetivo principal a partilha de conhecimentos e experiências. A experiência acumulada e o desenvolvimento desse conhecimento, testado neste particular domínio, irá assegurar a transferência de conhecimento, aliado ao grande desenvolvimento tecnológico das atividades cientificas, como industriais.
Desta forma, garantimos a possibilidade de estarmos a par das inovações tecnológicas no que diz respeito às questões de Economia Circular na cadeia de valor do sector da Construção.

[🇬🇧] The Evris Foundation from Iceland is a private non-profit foundation whose main purpose is to share knowledge and experience.
The accumulated experience and development of this knowledge, tested in this particular domain, will ensure the transfer of knowledge, coupled with the great technological development of scientific and industrial activities.
Thus, we guarantee the possibility of being abreast of technological innovations regarding Circular Economy issues in the value chain of the Construction sector.
