Please do note that all active presenters (presenting authors, symposium chairs and discussants) are required to register before the Presenter Registration Deadline of the 11th of May (midnight CEST) to ensure that your presentation is considered for the conference programme.
We'd also like to draw your attention to our travel award, in support of researchers working in countries facing financial struggles or who may otherwise be unable to attend the conference. You can find further information about this below.

The EARLI Executive Committee wishes to support conference participation for researchers who may otherwise not have the financial means to attend the conference, in the form of the EARLI 2023 Travel Award. This award offers waived registration for EARLI 2023, as well as a one-off bursary of € 1000 to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
The main criterion to qualify for the award is that the applicant must reside and work in a low GDP country. As such, only applications from the following countries will be considered:
- African countries
- Asian countries (excluding Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong SAR, Israel, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Macao SAR, Qatar, Singapore, United Arab Emirates)
- South American and Caribbean countries (excluding The Bahamas, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten (Dutch), Virgin Islands)
- South Pacific countries (excluding Australia, Guam, New Caledonia, New Zealand)
- and the following countries in wider European area: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Turkiye and Ukraine.
This award is aimed specifically at participants in EARLI 2023 with an active role (presenting author or chair / discussant in a symposium). As such, an accepted proposal for the conference is required to qualify for this award.
Applications are welcomed until the 4th of May 2023 (midnight CEST) through the form below and should should consist of a filled-out application form at supported by an uploaded list of publications and scientific achievements from 2013 – 2023 (pdf file, max. 10 MB).
